Alice & Alicia: Religious Twin Daughter

Alice & Alicia: Religious Twin Daughter
Two Sides Starting to Prepare

"Sister, let's hurry" cried Charlotte urgently. He stood in front of a horse carriage bearing the emblem of the Family de Vool. The emblem is in the shape of a snowflower. County de Vool is in the cold north. So, that became their trademark. "Don't let us miss the Grand Harvest Festival."

"Huah..," Nana yawned wide. His eyes were not open perfectly. Her spiky hair was also very messy. He just woke up.

"Sister!" snarl Charlotte while shaking her waist. No one dared to do that to him. Who would dare to make trouble with the royal magician?

"I'm coming" answered Nana. Melissa who escorted up to the gate stared stare. He pushed his best friend on purpose.

"Ouch!? Melly! What are you doing?" nana's protest that fell to the ground. Charlotte was holding back a laugh. Melissa returned Nana's sharp gaze which glared at her. The servants who were there could only be silent. Not wanting to interfere in the troublesome matters of the witches.

The other witches who had come to the gate were on standby for the worst possible. Nana and Melissa could be fighting and causing trouble. In the past, the mansion or more properly called the witch girl dormitory was once ravaged because of their actions. They really like to make trouble because of trivial things, but that started to happen rarely since Charlotte who was a tranquilizing sorcerer came.

"Didn't you see Lottie's been waiting since?" melissa replied, "Go quickly!"

"You kicked me out, huh?" nana's reply was not received by the way Melissa drove her. He stood with his horses ready to fight. The mana began to overflow. He can use it anytime.

Madam Amiru, the head babysitter of the dormitory glanced at Charlotte who was still silent watching. In times like these, the smallest girl could be relied upon to avoid losses.

Charlotte's eyes also met the eyes of Madam Amiru. He understood the meaning of the wrinkled woman's gaze, but he still wanted to watch the excitement of his two upperclassmen.

"I just want you to leave quickly," Melissa did not hide her intentions at all. He pulled out two dagger blades 50 centimeters long. Where it flows in each blade of the dagger.

Nana raised both her hands high. He cast a spell very quickly. Melissa was ready to escape. His eyes were watching around.

Plop!

Charlotte first completed her spell. Nana and Melissa became calm even though the spell they used was still active. The orange balls in Nana's hands are almost perfect and can explode at any time, while Melissa's dagger barely flies when Charlotte's spell hits it.

"Come on, brothers," Charlotte's cry stole everyone's attention, "I'm almost too late. Sister Nana, I'll leave you if you don't hurry."

The orange balls in Nana's hand shrank and disappeared. Melissa's dagger had also been sheathed. People were breathing because nothing bad happened. They looked at Charlotte like an angel descending from the sky. The tranquilizing magic was also about them.

"Eh, huh? I'm coming," Nana immediately approached the family de Vool's chariot. Melissa just stared quietly at her best friend leaving. He did not give a good-bye greeting.

"Drug..," Charlotte waved her hand out the window as the horse-drawn carriage departed. The smile of the angel fell on his lips. The people in the Mage Tower mansion returned the wave. They'll miss their little elf.

"Huah..," Nana yawned again along with her consciousness that was thinning. Though his eyes were already wide open when he almost dueled with Melissa earlier. Charlotte looked at him with a sigh.

"We haven't even come out the capital's gate yet" Charlotte scolded, her hands crossed, "Actually, how late was Big Brother sleeping last night?"

"Very late. Maybe midnight more," Nana blinked her eyes, "Melissa won't allow me to sleep."

"There's something to be prepared for," Nana answered in a semi-conscious state, "It's very important."

Charlotte curious. He wants to know more deeply. He could have used his magic for it, but he didn't want to do it to Nana.

"The girl must..," said Nana. His eyes were perfectly closed. His mouth seemed to be still pacing as if finishing his words, but it didn't sound anything. He was back to sleep apparently. Just as the horse-drawn carriage exited the capital's gate.

"Girl? Who?" Charlotte's getting curious. Possibly himself? Nah! His two brothers never called themselves that.

"Could it be Princess Mah..," Charlotte shook her head quickly. He did not dare to think up to it, but there was a sense of worry as well as suspicion in his heart. He stared in disbelief at Nana who was fast asleep.

...***...

Duchy vi Alverio, Family Castle vi Alverio

"Alice arrived home safely, huh?" Derrick read the papers he received. His face seemed expressionless, but his gaze contained the attention of a warm older brother. "Thank God then. He must have had some fun there. What would he do if he heard the rumors about the snot boy?"

Just like the Marchioness van Ryvat, the Young Duke vi Alverio also always gets the latest news about the capital. At the age of fifteen, he built his own intelligence network. The blue-haired youth of the night had always been keeping an eye on the political developments in the capital.

"What are you going to do, Alice?" Derrick squeezes the letter in his hand while remembering Antonio. From the beginning, he did not like his sister's engagement too early. But the head of the family is still the father. He was only the second regent since his grandfather died. His authority in guardianship is not as great as his father's.

"Hans, get me some paper and a pen!" derrick said as soon as he saw the reading table was clean. In the drawer there are only papers of important documents. On the nearby shelves were only old parchment scrolls.

After his personal aide gave what he asked for, he immediately wrote something on it. The questioner danced with agility. Within a short time, he had already written a letter to his cousin.

Derrick put his personal wax stamp on the letter. The shape is different from the family stamp vi Alverio which emblems the head of a tiger. It was the stamp of his name writing with ancient calligraphy.

He wrote another letter. This time for her queen aunt, then her father. Silence covers the surroundings. Sunlight penetrated into the window of his reading room, accompanying him who was alone.

The last letter he wrote was to his sister who addressed the Pearl Palace. It affirmed the Family's support for Crown Princess el Vierum, whatever his decision. Just like before.

"Send it all with the Saville Trade Union post," Derrick handed Hans a stack of letters he wrote, "I want those letters to arrive as soon as possible."

"Okay, sir," Hans saluted.

Derrick thought about starting to gather strength. Antonio's actions that can be said to be shameless can be a target for the sycophants of this country. It is likely that he will be made a puppet king someday. As a close relative, Derrick had to make good use of his cousin's condition to get rid of the parasites lurking in the kingdom el Vierum.

"Well, this is still speculation" Derrick tapped his pen to the table, "I hope he can be the man in charge in the future. I will not forgive him if he dares to hurt or disappoint the Family Princess vi Alverio."

When Hans returned, he came with another pile of letters. Derrick stared at the letters lazily. He could guess what it was. The letters were the submissions of some famous noble families. Some of it is letters from noble ladies that he does not even know~or perhaps forget~ altogether.
