Chapter 111: The Crown Prince's entourage

As Rosemary and Solid's entourage nearly exits the Kaskas Forest with Ulu's help, Antonio and Charlotte's entourage becomes increasingly lost. Instead of walking out, the group of boys even walked deeper and deeper. The atmosphere around me is getting more scary.

"Hi, are we walking in the right direction?" ask a girl who doubts the leadership of Crown Prince el Vierum. The girl next to him shook her head slowly with my face. He said, "Come away. We don't even know where we are."

"Are we going to survive?" ask the other girl. His eyes are red and swollen. There was a very clear cry there. If there were no friends who encouraged him, he would have been desperate from the beginning.

"Surely, we will definitely survive" replied his friend with an answer that was not accompanied by strong belief. The disciples of the Royal Academy had already languished even more. They haven't eaten since yesterday. In this terrifying forest, they could not eat carelessly.

"Hi, we have fruit" exclaimed a young man who had just come from behind. He came with two other people. They have a lot of fruits that are similar to apples. 

"Is the fruit safe?" charles asked, "One of us almost got mold poisoning yesterday."

"I saw a deer eating this fruit" replied the young man who was carrying the fruit. His name is William. He was a young knight candidate just like Charles. "Master, the fruit that herbivorous animals like deer eat is safe."

"Why didn't you catch the deer?" Antonio approached the young man, "The deer could be the right food reserve for us."

"Sorry, Your Honor," William's face instantly turned sour, "Unfortunately, we don't have any weapons to hunt. The sword that we happened to carry is not suitable to do that. Please understand."

William stared at the sword he had carried in his left hand. The sword is only a training sword. As long as there is no urgent situation, he should not be rash to use it.

"I see," Antonio turned his gaze around, "I just hope that we get a decent meal. Share that fruit. Make sure everything gets a part."

"Okay, Your Majesty," William nodded obediently. He also reported that there were still fruit in the tree he found earlier. Hearing that, Antonio immediately made a group to retrieve it. 

"Eat and fill your energy first" said Antonio, staring at his comrades who were obviously very weak and exhausted, "After that, then we go to where William meant."

Without Antonio's orders, the students have already done it. They even ate the fruit very greedily so hungry, even though it felt very sour.

They left shortly afterwards. William and his three friends led the way. The children only arrived at the place in question after a long walk.

"Ah, seriously," complained Charles annoyed. His eyes stared intently at the hanged herd of apes and played on the tree. 

The apes were joking, throwing fruits here and there, and exclaiming. The cries of those who seemed sinister made the children of the Royal Academy reluctant to advance even further. The apes cannot be approached carelessly.

"What should we do now?" asked the depressed looking Antonio. His appearance was already very messy, even though he was wearing luxurious clothes. 

"Hm, really?" Antonio and the other disciples immediately looked at Charlotte. Charlotte herself became stunned by it. He was nervous because of the gazes that seemed to question it–yah, indeed they doubted him anyway. Even so, Charlotte still forced herself to nod. "Yes, I can."

"Do it!" crown Prince el Vierum.

Charlotte knelt in her place. He lowered his head slightly, then cast a spell. A moment later, Balqis came to him–of course only Charlotte could see him. The magical girl asked her astral friend to get all the fruit on the tree.

"Is that all you call me?" balqis asked before obeying the order. Charlotte who was still down nodded. A moment later, Balqis disappeared from his sight. In a few seconds, he came back again with dozens of fruits with him.

In the view of the academy's students, the fruits looked as if they had emerged from void space. They were amazed and thanked Charlotte. These fruits will be their preparation for a few days.

"Let's get away before the apes know where we are" Charles proposed. The students nodded. They all picked up the fruits that Charlotte had picked up so as not to go to waste. Luckily, that afternoon they found a cave.

"We rest there" said Antonio enthusiastically.

"Wait, Your Majesty," Charles shook his head firmly, "Let me check it out first."

"Ah," Antonio was a little surprised, but he nodded in agreement, "Alright."

Charles immediately went into the cave. There are a lot of small holes there. Desperate, he only had the choice to cover all the holes. They will have difficulty if they have to find another place to rest. 

"Friends, this place is safe" Charles exclaimed after closing all the holes, "You can enter now. Let's rest here."

"Hi, who still has the strength to find firewood?" antonio asked as soon as he entered the cave. The cave had a cold air. They'll be in danger if they don't have a campfire.

"Let me go" Charles offered.

"Okay," Antonio agreed. After all, Charles was the most powerful person among them.

"Si–Sir Charles," suddenly Charlotte called out, "Allow me to come along. I can help with magic."

"Thank you" Charles gave a warm smile, "Your help means so much."

Antonio was stunned to see the two men leave. He clenched his hands, expressing a stirring emotion within the chest. I don't know why, he didn't like to see Charles and Charlotte together.
