Coulmer Town, Count de Clarence County
"How dare you insult our love!" the screams of a resident rang out to where Alice and the scholarly girls were resting in a cafe. Two people were arguing in the street. The people around him immediately surrounded him.
"I'm just asking, what do you get out of those statues?" a well-dressed young man replied to that shout resolutely. Before him, a middle-aged man in robes typical of the Sacred Temple looked furious.
"When you make it yourself, why do you worship it?" the young man continued undaunted. People started whispering. There was pity for the young man, some were reproaching him, some were reflecting on his words.
"Don't talk recklessly. They are sacred artifacts that connect us to God," explained the man in the cloak of the Holy Temple, "Have your parents never taught them since childhood, brat?"
"Are you fools? How do you think of God?" the young man rejected his opponent's statement, "Do you think God is far away to the point of needing an intermediary made with your own hands? Do you think God is deaf to the point of not hearing the prayers and prayers you offer?"
"Well, you must be a heretic" the middle-aged man accused, "You infidels who don't believe in God."
"How do you accuse me of being a heretic while I believe in the Most Merciful God?" replied the young man. His eyes stared hard without fear. He stood before those who surrounded him. "How can you be the Apostle as the Son of God while the Apostle has invited us to worship the Almighty God."
"Buck!" the man's body trembled. He wanted to answer the young man's question, but there was nothing he could say. For the sake of preserving his honor, he increasingly loudly accused, "You from the cult. Get out of here before the Holy Temple acts."
"I am not afraid and will not leave" the young man insisted, "I just want to warn you to go back on the straight path. The way of the prophets and apostles, that is, believe in the Almighty God and not associate with Him."
"Who's that guy, Auntie?" Rosemary finally asked so curiously.
"He must be the remaining follower of the Arisians" replied the Countess de Clarence. The Holy Temple had requested many times to cooperate with the House of Clarence to expel the group, but the Count de Clarence refused because he did not want to interfere in the conflict in the religious realm. He was even more inclined to the thought of the more reasonable Arisians.
"Ariani?" Mainne heard it for the first time.
"They are a group that follows the thought of Arius the Straight Pandita," Alice explains. He often heard about them. The Vi Alverio family even guaranteed his safety. Essentially, their belief is the same pure monotheism that the Van Ryvat Family espouses, "The religious scholars who oppose the Holy Temple's claim that the Apostle is the son of God."
"It seems like a commotion is about to happen," Aristia noticed the middle-aged man who was now raising his scepter of honor high. The Arisian Youth immediately dodged. The people who were swarming started to make a fuss. They did not want to get into trouble with the Sacred Temple. They must pay if they want to get a penance letter later.
"Auntie, where are the knights who should be patrolling around here?" Akilla asked worriedly. The hooded girl did not dare to look at the behavior made by the man from the Sacred Temple.
"Calm down, they'll be here soon" the Countess de Clarence said casually. Justright. Two knights on patrol had come and were now securing the young man. The young man was taken to a nearby security post.
"Has that man been arrested?" Alice watched carefully. His gaze was keenly watching the incident. Seeing that, the Countess de Clarence offered her an offer, "Do you want to be sure, Princess?"
The Countess de Clarence nodded with a fluffy smile. He had a feeling that something interesting was going to happen. He thought about how the girl who was recognized as the owner of the Pearl Palace as well as Crown Princess el Vierum would deal with this problem.
"Then let's go, let's go" Alice asked. He got up from his seat followed by the intellectual girls. The Countess de Clarence takes care of the payment at the cashier. Anna gave instructions to the knights of the Pearl Palace to prepare immediately, while Florence accompanied the scholarly girls. They were taken to the place where the young man was taken.
"I didn't start a fight at all," the young Arisiun's voice rang out until the waiting room. A guard officer had just entered was about to inform Alice and her entourage. He was very surprised when Crown Princess el Vierum and the intellectual girls came. Moreover, the Countess de Clarence came with them.
The noise in the interrogation room stopped. Shortly after, a thick mustachioed knight walked out of the room. He saluted his unexpected guests with respect.
"Sorry, what made the Princess and the Countess come to this narrow and simple place?" ask the knight who is the commander in the post. He was a little worried that there was a complicated problem.
"Where's that brat?" a hoarse scream was heard. The door opened violently. An old man dressed typical of the Holy Temple entered with a furious face. The guard behind him looked overwhelmed unable to do anything.
All eyes immediately stared at the furious-faced old man. Alice, the Countess de Clarence, and the knight commander stared coldly. Rosemary, Aristia, and Aria had flat expressions, while Akilla and Mainne were slightly surprised. They immediately turned away while maintaining the authority of the scholarly girl.
"Lord Bishop Otto please calm down" the knight commander also broke the tension. He sighed and invited Bishop Otto to come out first.
"I have come to arrest the heretic who made a commotion in the center of the city," Bishop Otto interrupted without regard to the surroundings, "Temple knights will take care of it."
"Did the Bishop not give face to those of us who were present here first?" the voice of the Countess de Clarence shocked the bishop. The old man only realized that the girls in front of him were the Countess de Clarence's party. He calmed down and was polite.
"I apologize for my impoliteness, Lady Countess" said Bishop Otto of the Holy Temple, "This is an important matter that must be dealt with immediately."
"What is that problem?" Alice asked. His voice is very cold. When Bishop Otto saw her, he fell silent and guessed the identity of the girl who interrupted him.
"He was the owner of the Pearl Palace, Crown Princess el Vierum" the Countess de Clarence explained Bishop Otto's confusion, "Didn't the Bishop hear of his arrival yesterday?"
"Oh, forgive me, Princess," Bishop Otto slightly jolted. He did not expect a Pearl Palace owner and Crown Princess el Vierum was such a small girl. Rumors of greatness had already spread throughout the entire kingdom. Thus, Bishop Otto suspected that the girl might have been over the age of seven dozen, the normal age of noble girls celebrating the ceremony of her maturity.
"As I said earlier, there is a heretic who messes up in the city center," Bishop Otto explained again the meaning of his arrival which he said arrogantly earlier, "We have to deal with it immediately."
"Misguided people? What do you mean the young man who was feuding with you earlier?" alice asked without removing the sharp gaze. Her cold tone reinforced her impression of a Winter Princess in the eyes of the outsiders.
"So you know it, it will be easier" Bishop Otto concluded with a confident smile. She flinched again as Alice asked, "Why do you accuse the young man of being a heretic?"
