08. Claire's Second Superpower

"Nancy hasn't returned yet."

Huft. I can't relax for a second like that.

But I couldn't possibly ignore this, afraid that something might happen to them.

"Stupid class. We'll find them bye." Kimberly.

"Okay, let's split up." Rylan said shortly before the earzoom was decommissioned.

CRYOG

The bell rang, I immediately ran out of the classroom before any teachers came in.

I stopped my steps right in front of the classroom corridor. My earzoom's on again.

"... Claire?" Ruby Voice.

"Claire in."

I heard him chuckle faintly. "It doesn't need to be so, hahaha.it's two-way communication."

Oohhh, hehehe.

"Why Ruby? I was just looking around the canteen."

"Don't, Rylan's already there, here to the library, we're looking together, you can't be alone." Ledek.

I chuckled, "Okee, I'll be there."

I turned off my earzoom, then turned towards the library.

From far away I saw a woman who seemed familiar.

I narrowed my eyes, then realized something.

"Lancy!" I ran to him.

He nodded a little, then looked at me. He looks fine.

"Where have you been? It's bell loh!"

He's wide-eyed. "EEHH? Aye! It's deserted in the corridor! Ouch..." He looked around, it was completely deserted, it was likely that there were already teachers coming into the classroom as well.

"Where are you from?" my many.

"That's, I was called the chief coordinator of the event, then Claire, I have to hurry," he chuckled, "there's a test! Well, I go first!" He panicked and ran to his class.

I don't wonder why they didn't ask Nancy the slightest question, it was a waste of time for an agent. I understand that.

"Jack..."

I slowed my steps. Sounds like Ruby muttering...

[Ruby's POV]

I wrinkled my eyebrows confused..

"Jack.." I muttered.

Why is Jack here?

His right eye had turned blue. He was doing scanning. What brought him here?

What don't-don't...

I walked up to him, "What did you find here"

He looked at me with two different colored eyes. "Call Claire." He said, then passed me. He quickly walked around the library aimlessly, like he was looking for something.

I turned on earz-oh yeah! it was lit up from now on.

"Claire, hurry to the wreckage." I whispered to my earzoom.

I looked back at Jack who was still surrounding this place, he was confused.

I walked up to him, "Claire's gonna be here any minute."

Habit, without responding to me, he ran back through this library.

Uh!

That's it Claire!

Claire ran straight towards me. When he got next to me, he turned his eyes to Jack. In an instant, his countenance turned to shock at Jack-ralat, his eyes. Then he looked at me. Understanding his look of confusion, I told him, "Once Jack's eyes are programmed like robot eyes, it can scan and detect anything.." I looked up at Jack who was approaching us, "including Alexa."

"He's around here." Jack could only scan and detect something, but he couldn't figure out the exact position it was in. Somewhat a responsibility, the professor programmed his eyes.Why not just like that?

Without any more confusion, Claire closed her eyes.

This aura...

I felt his power run through my body. But unlike the previous one, when Claire lost control because of her telekinesis.

In essence, I made supersonic waves around Claire's body to protect her. The evil aura and whatever force wanted to hurt her, I could feel her pain first. As well as all the power and aura coming out from within his own body, I could feel it. The telekinesis was strong, so strong that it hurt a little. But his strength this time was different, like.

It was clearly visible from the blazing aura coming out of Claire's body, like a light but not dazzling. He opened his eyes, his white aura became more and more obvious, he looked so like an angel, I didn't lie.

He walked faster and faster through these large and tall bookshelves. Jack and I followed him.

Claire stopped at the corner of this vast library. "Someone has enough power to hide him here." He stared at the corner of the library wall.

There's nothing.

I can't see anything there!

Jack took a step forward, stared at the corner of the empty room, then nodded in agreement.

EHH?? I'm the only one who didn't see anything??!

W-wait, the power from inside Claire's body enlarged, if you want to know it feels, like floating in the air. Ah, it's delicious. Like being healed, even without having a disease.

His white aura surged out from his body, then circled the empty corner in front of us, this corner of the library.

Slowly, it began to look vaguely.The shadow of a woman was lying in the corner of the room.

The shadow turns into a more visible body.

Jack activated his earzoom. "Alexa's in the library." His words without taking his eyes off the body of Alexa are increasingly visible. Yes, it turns out to be true, it is Alexa.

Alexa (who was already completely visible) was lying unconscious in the corner of the wall.

[Claire's POV]

I looked up at Alexa who was unconscious. I approached and crouched down beside him, I placed my hand about 30 inches above his body. I closed my eyes again, I channeled my energy to her, so that she could come to her senses later.

I felt my energy run through my body, out, and into Alexa's body. After I thought enough, I opened my eyes, then stood up. "Twenty minutes she'll be conscious." All right, I don't want to pretend to beat the doctor, but that's the truth. He will recover in 20 minutes.

It turns out that Kim, Val, Zav, and Rylan are here.

"Let me." said Zav.

I reflexively retreated quickly.
