35. Kimberly and the Future

[Ruby’s POV]

I was in the auditorium, waiting for the others to come. By the way, it's already 20:00 p.m. I heard that Claire wanted to take a break before talking about Apesta meeting her this afternoon.

“This is them long too yes.” Zav said, then sighed.

It's me, Jack, Rylan, Jack, and Kim. Val and Claire must have walked here.

“Ah, that's it! Finally came.” Rylan pointed towards the entrance of the auditorium.

Val and Claire were waving their hands at us. “Sorry yes, old. Claire has trouble waking up, like a fainting person.” Val said with his grin.

“Eh, yes? Fainted really, time?? Claire okay?” zav's chirps are immediately elbowed by Jack.

Claire chuckles, “Gak is it! Hahaha, I'm fine.” He said while showing his thumb.

I shook my hand and told Val and Claire to sit on my right. “Sini!”

After Claire and Val sat down, Rylan opened his voice, “Claire, so how? Apesta didn't hurt you, did he? She said what?” ask him with his eyebrows linked.

Kim accidentally caught my attention, he was sitting on my left, but from now on, he didn't speak at all, he seemed to hold something. He's never seen this pressurized. The look on his face also changed when he heard Rylan's words just now. “Wait.” he said which made us all turn towards Kim.

Kim glanced at Claire at a glance, “Let me alone, I also heard their conversation, kok.” Further.

Suddenly, Jack sighed softly. “Three more days we will go there.” Short words. Then without warning, he got up and walked out of the room.

“Eh! Jack, it's not finished! What do you mean three days?!” rylan said that Jack didn't understand. He left us all here.

While they were arguing about transportation, I secretly noticed Kim and Claire. Told you. They're weird.

“Kim... You nosebleed?” Ruby brought her face closer to Kim, to check on her condition. And true. Two drops of blood had dripped from Kimberly's nose.

Ruby's words made all eyes on Kim.

Val furrowed his brows, then walked up to Kim, “Kok can you? Did you break the laws of nature?? But I think you haven't done anything.”

Without responding to Val, Kim just smiled while covering his nose, “I came back first ya.” Then go out.

After he had completely left, Zav turned to Ruby, “Did she say something about the future?” she said that made Rylan, Val, and Claire curious.

Ruby on sale, “Hah?” he thought for a moment, then rounded his eyes, “AH IYAA! But.. ah. time, anyway?”

Rylan, Val, and Claire are increasingly confused to hear Ruby instead speak for herself, “What?” zav asked not to understand.

Ruby gasped, she just understood something. “WE WILL BEAT BILL GATES, GUYS!!!”

Surely the words of Ruby just made the others more confused, even Rylan thought that Ruby might just be the origin of speech or maybe being embarrassed.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Kim was sitting in a long chair located on the edge of the school corridor. He rubbed the blood that flowed continuously from his nose. Kim sighed, “Already, cake! I am flabbergasted! Not fatal-fatal anyway, kok!” gerrutu annoyed.

“Kecelosan what the hell?” sahut Zav suddenly. I don't know since when, he was behind Kim.

Kim was wide-eyed, “Since when were you here?”

“Barusan. Oh yeah, I thought you went straight to the dorm, it's been this night for what's still here?” zav asked while sitting next to Kim.

Kim flat-oh, then look again at Zav, “Yes already, I will be back, yes.” He was afraid, but he did not move his body to stand up at all.

“There's something you're damning, right?” Zav squinted at Kim, “Eh, errat, The Time Controller will indeed have to keep everything by himself, which is why he is prone to crazy.” Zav said that made Kim laugh.

Zav and Kim are very close friends. More precisely, they are six. Jack, Kim, Val, Rylan, Zav, and Ruby have been partners for three years. So, their closeness is no doubt.

“Come on, overflow what makes your face so stressed so. Don't be specific, later nosebleeds again.” said Zav.

Kim sighed, he lowered his head while massaging his temple. “I know stress. It can be crazy, deh.”

Zav propped up his chin, ready to listen to his friend's grievance. No wonder why Kim was so open. Precisely because the girl was rational half-dead, he did not want himself to lose half his sanity because of the stress of being soaked himself.

Kim grunting. “My life never seems to suck. Ever since I was born with this power, I've been bound by that damn law of nature. I was crazy from the beginning. Just not too visible.”

Zav chuckles, “We're all crazy, Kim. Seriously. But you're the craziest. We all know it.” Said Zav again spilling a joke that was actually a fact. Crazy is meant not only the origin of speech, but it is a real crazy.

Kim chuckled. A split second later, he pitched up, looking at the night sky. He looked at the stars above him. Then he sighed. Thinking about the destiny he had to live this. Really hard, he thought.

“I already know, Zav.” Said slowly.

Zav furrowed his brows. “You must know everything, but what do you mean this time?”

Kim held her head, then grabbed her hair in frustration. He breathed again. Here's why he hates vent sessions. Because when he wanted so badly to convey what was troubling him, he could not. It can never be. “This is so stressful.”

Kim began to shed tears, but she quickly looked up, so that her tears would not drip.

Zav looked at Kim inside. He did not know what it was like to be suffocated with his own strength like Kim, but just by looking at Kim's condition like this, he also became imagined how frustrated he was now. “Cry that you are not strong anymore. Don't force yourself. Already can not vent, can not cry anyway, more crazy later.”

Kim chuckled, making the hard-earned tears he held back, dripping as well. “If I can be honest, sometimes I want to die quickly.” said Kim Iirih.

Quietly, Zav agreed inwardly. The strength they have is not only useful, but also makes them depressed. He doesn't know what it's like to be Kim, but he knows what it's like when you want to scream, to expose all this injustice, but he can't.

It was like drowning but not swimming.

“I know exactly what will happen there.” Kim pitched up, staring at the dark night sky.

Hearing that, Zav can conclude that what Kim meant must not be a good thing, clearly visible from how frustrated he is now. “Dan... let me guess... You can't change it?”.

Kim sighed for the umpteenth time, “Sorry.”

"When it's a little?"

Kim smiled bitterly, then shook his head slowly.

"Can you give me a spoiler?" ask Zav who immediately got a plot from Kim, "Yes, I keep on nosebleeds a bucket, change your blood, yes!"

Zav chuckled, then sighed. He gave up on asking. Besides, he can't harm Kimberly just to give her a leak about the future. But at least.if he has the power of Kim, he will know what happened.maybe he can avoid the bad things, so thought Zav.

Kim looked up at the sky above him again, "Don't ever wish you'd be me." Kim said as if he could read minds.

"People like me are not destined to change anything.I am just a connoisseur of the future."
