27. Welcome Back Kim!

Now, the clock is showing at 11:55 p.m.

Val and Zav had just joined forces, the two of them took a short break earlier.

Now, those agents are gathered right in front of the glass room where Kim is

‘dirawat’.

“Five more minutes.” Rylan stood up, followed by the others. Of course they were sitting on the floor, how else? There are no seats in the middle of this corridor.

Val who was already standing, turned to look at Claire who was still sitting, rather curled up.

“You why curl up?”

Claire pitched her head, glared at Val at a glance then turned her gaze on the

Kim. who was muttering to himself on the wall.

Claire pouted sadly seeing Kim, “A-I was scared.” she said quietly.

“PFFFT.” Rylan held back his laughter, he hurriedly turned his gaze the other way.

Secretly, Jack chuckled softly.

“Iya anyway, it's creepy.” Said Zav who was immediately greeted by a plot by Val.

Actually, it's not wrong either. With Kim's current appearance, hair

the length is messy, talking to the wall, even earlier he had cried bitterly inexplicably.

Ruby gave the code ‘oke’ with her finger to Claire, signifying that she was allowed

curled up in the corner instead of coming closer to Kim's glass room.

Then they turned their eyes to Kim.

Kim suddenly hit the glass wall while shouting something.

“E-eh? Kim why?” Val furrowed his brows confused as well as panicked, as well as

the other.

Zav clucked, “Why is the room made soundproof, anyway?” abugn.

Clearly, they could not hear what Kim was shouting, not to mention, Kim facing

turn their backs.

Then the atmosphere among the agents returned silent, but tense. Trying to reach the audiosonic waves coming out of Kim's mouth with their ears.

Kim really looks terrible now. He looked confused and sad, and angry. He continued to hit the glass wall while shouting. As if there was someone inside that wall.

“What the hell is there?” Val rubbed his eyes, “only glass wall, right?”

Rylan nodded, still with a confused frown on his forehead.

Claire had folded her legs and drowned her face between them

his knee. Who would have thought the woman who had beaten 3 people all out

this is a coward? Just because Kim now looks like a rampaging Enchantress.

Ruby bit her lower lip, she started to get anxious. “She will be okay, right?” he said without taking his eyes off Kim who was now seen screaming louder. Seen from the veins on his neck.

“Maybe... indeed this is the process,” Rylan observed Kim's movements, “but it feels like something is wrong.”

“Not gone wrong,” Jack said. He took a step forward, his hand touching the glass wall

that cold, “dia is trying to communicate.” His words made the five people around him look confused.

“Hah?”  claire said from the corner there, representing a confused frown on all of their eyebrows.

Jack stared at Kim again, “Parallel dimension.”

Ruby glazed, “Ah Yes!” his jaw dropped instantly, “so.

is trying to communicate with... someone from a parallel dimension?” ablaze

“A-what...?!” Val pressed his hands against the glass wall, hoping to see

Jack smiled faintly, letting the woman solve her own puzzle.

“Iya too.” murmured Rylan.

“Then from that, he constantly calls ‘they’, but inaudible, even possible

‘they’ don't know.” Claire said, looking closely at Kim from behind.

“Woah..” Val turned to Claire, “you're smart too, yes!”

Jack smiled at a glance, then maintained his flat face again.

Silence is again created, preoccupied with their respective minds in order to solve the same puzzle.

Who's ‘they’?

“Hey, look...” said Zav, pointing towards the room.

Kim was already sitting on the floor, no more yelling, no more banging on the wall, no

doing anything. He just kept quiet.

“Aduh, kok even so more sinister..” said Claire slowly.

Rylan turned to Jack, “Maybe he has calmed down, should we open the door

now?” the question that made Claire go wild.

Jack checked his watch, now it's 00:20, twenty minutes have passed since Kim got the strength

newness.

“It can, anyway.” Said Jack.

“But it's really quiet?” Zav said, “be careful, later if his emotions

not yet stable, you can be turned into grandparents.”

Val chuckles, “Iya also sih.”

 Jack sighed, “I'll check

his condition.” He made his friends look over.

They (except Claire) became quiet. The fact that Kimberly is an ex-lover

Jack, make them quiet now. But anyway, it has to be professional.

Jack walked past Claire, the woman directly holding her hand. “You sure?

How about, wait till it really is..” Claire saw Kim with sadness, “... safe?” says slowly.

Of course he was not afraid of Jack coming back with the form of grandparents, but it was a lot

it's likely that bad things will happen if they misact on the mutants

'What if he gets angry and Jack gets kicked into a parallel dimension?' he said in his heart.

A smile was engraved on Jack's face, he brought his face closer to Claire, “Silence

only, I won't turn into a grandfather.” Her whisper was soft, making Claire petrify for a moment.

Then he took off his grip.

Lying Claire didn't turn red.

“They're not done yet, huh?” zav whispered softly to Val.

Val smiled amusedly, wanted to laugh it felt, “Not yet.”

Zav clucking softly, “Ck, melt highly.” Mumbled. Then he looked at Val who was closing

his mouth held a laugh, making Zav smile.

Jack pressed a few digits of the code on the door of the room where Kim was, then opened the door.

Kim was not disturbed, he did not even stir his head in the slightest.

Jack crouched down, to see Kim's face more clearly. Kim's eyes were closed, he

purposely closing her eyes, besides, was a trace of tears on her cheeks. Even though her appearance was a mess like this, it still did not fade her beauty.

Since Kim was completely motionless, Jack came to the conclusion that this woman had fainted.

Jack wrapped Kim's hand on his shoulder, then carried it. Then he brought

Kim came out of the room. As soon as he came out, Ruby went straight to him.

Ruby rounded her eyes, “Have fainted? Cep-“ kok said who had not had time

Kim furrowed his brows, “Claire..” muttered slowly, making everyone look at Claire, then turned to Kim again in seriousness.

Claire walked over to Kim slowly, to be honest she was still afraid.

Then slowly, his gaze shifted, descending upon Claire.
