Hera raised her face, looking at Jack in disbelief. "D-cold." he said with a trembling voice. Both of the girl's beads were glazed.
Jack understood the meaning of the gaze. But he had no other way for now, the man sighed. Then he looked back. "Arthur! Please bring Hera's guidance counselor inside to be treated!"
Then he turned his gaze down, he looked towards the floor around Hera. "The drivers have been re-absorbed by you" he told Hera, then looked back.
"Alex, come! Help me!" jack's heavy voice was heard loud to the end. The four friends had only heard the man's voice for the first time.
"Alice! Please wake up Axelia!" said Jack again. He looked at Axelia from afar, the girl still closed her eyes. "It's dangerous that his spirit can't enter his body anymore" he murmured.
It's been an hour. Don't think Jack didn't notice the situation from earlier. As for his anxiety, Jack was right. She knew Axelia wasn't sleeping, but her spirit was no longer in her body.
Actually, the man had been worried from the beginning. He knew Hera could not smoothly use her power, the proof, from the beginning the girl was always wrong target when told by her guide to direct her lightning to the part of the wall marked with the target circle.
And again, Axelia who looks not in her body is unsettling Jack. Because if Hera gets out of control, and Axelia can't push Hera's soul out of her body to faint, then Jack will do this kind of thing.
The problem is, Jack does not know what side effects will be from the thing he did just now.
Alex, who had reached Jack and Hera, turned to Jack. "I'm helping what?"
Jack pointed to both of Hera's hands which he had frozen, thick ice enveloping his hands. "Please melt it" said Jack without taking his eyes off Hera's hands.
Alex nodded, "It can, but please take care of the surrounding skin surface so as not to burn or overheat" Alex said, rubbing both palms. Getting ready.
Jack nodded, he glanced at Hera occasionally. There were tears on both cheeks of the girl, a sign that she was crying in pain from being too cold. But now the girl was watching both of her hands tensely. Waiting for Alex to melt the ice that froze his hands.
"Close your eyes." whispered Jack with a serious look. Realizing that, Hera immediately closed her eyes tightly. Actually, he was also afraid to see his hand melted. Sounds like it's creepy.
"I'm starting." Alex said. A split second later, he let out a small blaze from both hands, then wrapped both hands of Hera who had become ice with his fire hand.
"Keep your hands!" jack suddenly said. He furrowed his brows in panic, "Give it some distance! You just need to warm his hands, not burn them" he said seriously.
Alex frowned, "Wouldn't it melt faster if my hands touched"
"can't. Ice cannot be burned with fire, it requires a chemical reaction of calcium carbide powder. And we don't have that now." said Hera suddenly. Right after saying that, Jack looked at Hera with a serious look, so Hera closed her eyes tightly again.
"So you have to give it some distance, just warm it to melt" Jack said firmly.
Alex nodded in understanding, then immediately put distance between his hand and Hera's hand so as not to touch.
After five seconds, the first drop fell. The ice is starting to melt. And over time it drips more and more continuously.
When the ice sheet that enveloped Hera's hand was thin, Jack stretched out his hand over Hera's unfrozen hand, to give her the cold so that her hand would not hurt the heat.
"Quick type!" Alice's voice from the other end sounded loud.
But Jack, Hera, and Alex are not bothered in the least, they are still focused on solving the frozen hand problem here.
Meanwhile, Alice and Axelia are trying to communicate with each other. Alice held out her phone to the empty wind before her. That's how it seems, but what really happened was, Axelia was right in front of Alice right now, gathering her energy to type what she wanted to say on the touch screen of Alice's phone.
"Udah yet?" alice asked, starting to feel sore. Then he pointed his phone at himself to read what Axelia was typing.
'I can't go back to my body, I don't know how. Please just call Kevin, he'll know how...'
Alice exhaled, lazy but resigned. "Where is he?" ask, looking around. On this field there is nothing but Alex, Jack, Hera, Axelia, and himself.
'It looks like he's in the building, calling the other Professor for help.'
Alice rolled her eyes lazily. "God.." he muttered. "Yes, wait here" he said briefly, then immediately left the place with his feet floating. It flew, blazing as fast as lightning.
Alex glanced over, then frowned confused. 'What the hell was that? A ghost? Wrong look at times yes, time is open'
"Focus, Al." said Jack firmly.
The ice that covers Hera's hand has left small parts, therefore, Alex must be extra careful so as not to hurt the girl's hand.
"Done." Alex breathed a sigh of relief. Five minutes but it feels like an hour, thanks to Jack's sinister deathly gaze.
Jack stopped his winter protection, then turned to Alex. "Thank you." From his tone, he looks as comfortable as Alex.
Alex nodded with a faint smile, then walked away from the place. It leads to where Axelia's body is.
Hera raised her face, looking at the man taller than her. Their beads met, and locked for a few seconds.
"Thank you kas-"
"Is there a wound?" jack asked flatly, but his tone hinted at concern. "sorry. I was panicking, so I had to freeze your hands" he said without taking his eyes off the blue sea bead.
"I understand.it's okay." said Hera with a faint smile. From the look of his face implied that he was disappointed with himself because it was always a source of problems. Hera looked down, feeling guilty.
Meanwhile, this guy..
...His heart was pounding, seeing that face...
The face that usually always smiled sweetly at her.
The face that the owner sometimes hides because of embarrassment.
Now, the face was used by this girl.
"Hey.."
Hera raised her face, again giving Jack a chance to meet again with his manic.
The man no longer cared, no matter who the woman before him was. Clearly, he will not let the face of his favorite girl bend sad.
"Hour nine. In the upper living room." said Jack briefly, then walked away from the place.
'He is dangerous.' said the man inwardly, placing his hand on his chest, feeling his heartbeat beating uncharacteristically.
