[Axelia's POV]
23.00
My activities today are over.
I'mtired. We practiced from morning till night.
Actually the schedule was only from seven in the morning to five in the afternoon, but we ended up practicing until ten in the evening.
At first Alice was determined to train even longer when told to rest by Professor Ally, but she did not listen to Professor Ally's words and continued to train hard. Me and the others became motivated to train even longer eventually.
Because I did not practice using the gun earlier (for fear of disturbing Hera), I chose to practice using other weapons. Strangely shaped, a twenty-centimeter-long slab of silver can draw electricity from the tip.
Like a electrocution(?) Somewhat similar.
But believe me, I got bounced around in shock the first time I used it.
The electrocution device will only issue electricity if pressed on the active button.if this, there is no button anything, then the electricity with a large power will directly propagate out to hit the target.
The way it is directed is similar to when you want to whip a target with a rope. The difference is, if this weapon, the rope is long electricity.
My ability to use that weapon is only 70%. Eh but. isn't that fast progress in a day?
Hehee! I'm so cool!
Well, done with that, Kevin invited me to study the poisons, explosives, and various deadly fluids in the arsenal. It is located in the top row, because the average size is small.
More or less, the lesson was like studying chemistry (but even cooler). And that's the lesson I hate the most. So it must have been guessed how the percentage of my understanding, right?
Only 40% and it has tried as much as possible.
The only ones who really understood were Alice and Hera. The two of them even had a chance to argue about an explosive weapon that contains deadly fluid in it. I don't understand at all what they were arguing about (maybe because the discussion is out of my brain?) clearly, Alice again highlighted her intelligence. Leih is dominant over Hera.
Finally, the argument was won by Alice.
Actually I was quite surprised when I saw Hera voice her argument earlier. Other than that she was smart, I was surprised that she was able to argue with Alice for an hour and a half.
May honest? The atmosphere was so gripping. More scary than horror movies. If I could, I'd just run away from there.
The way they argue is very different. Alice expressed her statement calmly, but not infrequently she slipped sarcasm on the sidelines of her sentences. In contrast to Hera, he responded to Alice gently and remained polite. But it still has its point.
Both have their own ways. But for some reason, what makes it scary is the sarcasm of Alice.
I'm so Hera will cry right away. Haha.
But indeed... Alice won in the end.
Finished with that, we returned back to the armament room to enter a secret room. Professor Ally guided us, and opened the door (which was also hidden and invisible).
Inside the room contained a row of advanced technology that really blew me away. Blue dominated all of that equipment.
It contains sophisticated robots that can talk and move around. Honestly, I'm afraid of them. Their expressionless faces were hideous.
Drones, hologram tabs, room technology control rings, high-tech contact lenses, cropping chips to access technology facilities, and many more!
And that which dominates all of that in one look is...
... guess who!!!
EXACTLY IT! MY HANDSOME CLASSMATE!
Jesus, what's less than Jack? There aren't.
His face was handsome, his body was nice and tall, smart in technology, not to mention his gaze made his interlocutors fall, drown, and die...
If Claire was here, she would have gotten the man with the full package.
By the way.. Jack never told me where Claire is now..
We rarely talk in private (never actually).
A holographic clock on the wall of my room showed at 23:15.
Geez... has it been fifteen minutes?!
I stood up from my bed, "I don't think I can sleep.." I muttered sadly.
But wait a minute! Don't be sad! I remember Professor Ally saying that near the corridor where the rooms were, there was a living room enough to relax and see the outside view.
All right, I'll be there!
I opened the door of my room with a sensor fingerprint on the door of my room, then went out quietly.
Goody! It's deserted here!
I walked quickly before anyone woke up or something.
When I walked five steps, I realized that I was not wearing footwear.
But yes, no problem. The floor here is clean shiny like this! At most my feet will only be cold.
I reached the end of the corridor, and then I continued to follow the path, which was to turn to the right.
A moment later, I was wide open.
This is the nicest living room I've ever seen.
I stepped in, looking around me.
Waahhh..
My jaw dropped again when I saw the figure of the man standing at the other end, looking up at the sky.
I glared, that's why there's no barrier?! What if falling from it will jump straight down?!
I walked slowly closer. Is he going to kill himself?
All I know is five of us staying here. The room where the professors are far away from here, right?!
Then who is it?
Alex is? Maybe not asleep?
Or the...
Hehehe. That's me the one who wants.
I walked over with some hesitation.it can't be a demon, right?
When the distance between us was thin, I ventured to make a sound.
"Cure-be"
I haven't finished my words yet, the man looked back.
I glared in shock.
"Sister Jack?"
IT TURNS OUT HE WAS RIGHT!
Her handsome face was even more beautiful than the stars in the sky (i swear). He looked at me flat, his black eyes somehow trapped my bead. His eyes were sharp and cold.
I'm pecking, can't take this eye contact off.
(Nothing, I don't mind all day.)
The structure of his face is perfect, his jaw is firm, his eyebrows are thick, his nose is pointed, his lips are a little natural red.
I've never seen a man this handsome in my entire life.
His lips opened, he wanted to say something finally.
"Go."
...
.....
I'M STUNNED..
I'M EXPELLED?
He looked at me coldly, "Go. It's night." he said flatly.
OOHHH HE TOLD ME TO LEAVE BECAUSE IT WAS NIGHT.. TOLD ME TO GO TO BED, DID YOU?
Ahh..
I smiled wryly, "Sister Jack should also go to bed?"
What a beautiful night.
Which other delights do you deny?
Brother Jack did not respond to me, then turned his eyes back to the night sky in front of the two of us.
Yes, it is beautiful indeed, a lot of stars above and urban scenery below. But I'm not a fan of this kind of scenery.
I prefer this breathable sight next to me.
Silence was created between us, as if he was forgetting my presence and focused on gazing at the twinkling stars in the sky.
From the side, I could see the reflection of the stars from his clear manic. Even if he has to complain (because he is so tall!) until my neck goes numb, I don't have a problem.
Yet...
One more thing comes to my mind every time I see this guy.
Claire.
I know they have a special relationship.
Then from that...
... Where's Claire?
Where's dia? Why didn't this guy ever tell me when I asked him? What happened to Claire? Was he the victim of the Earth's apocalypse three years ago?
I was determined to ask.
All right, take a breath...
Dispose...
But what if he freezes this whole room like the first time I asked about Claire?
Ask no, huh?
But must! I gotta ask.
"He likes this kind of scene." This heavy male voice surprised me. Suddenly speaking?
"Him? Who?" I cringed not understanding.
"Your best friend" said Brother Jack, without looking at me.
A pal?
Ready-made
CLAIRE?!
REALLY CLAIRE?
WHOA! JACK BROUGHT THIS TOPIC FIRST?
A GOOD!
Now it's time to ask
No. This is not the right time.
I looked into his eyes from the side, the look in his eyes looking at the stars in the sky with a deep look.
Deg.
Oh, my God, he's so handsome...
The look inside was like remembering someone..
Claire.
"By the way.." I gulped, "do you know, Claire is where now?" tanyaku carefully.
The two sharp sweets dimmed, the look in his eyes was deep, as if to describe a memory that pierced his heart.
I can't explain it with words.
But he looks so sad.
Is it just my feelings?
But I don't think so..
Silence again struck me and Brother Jack, I did not dare to say anything more. Because honestly, I don't know what kind of miracle thing could make that icy face become miserable.
"There's no need to answer, brother, I didn't ask. Hehe.."
He didn't respond.
Although he did not say a word, but I'm sure, his head must be full of words.
I breathe out slowly.
Something happened to Claire, huh?
"Alexa."
I looked quickly. A little surprised because he still uses my pseudonym, but more surprised because he finally voiced.
"Yes, Brother??"
Jack looked at me expressionlessly. But from his face, it was implied that he wanted to ask something.
"Ishera Harlyn, doesn't she look like Claire?"
I jerked.
Suddenly, but true.
True allegations. He thought the same thing.
I nodded, "Identic. It's just that his eyes are different."
"Claire's manic is brown, Hera's bead is sea blue." I continued.
Brother Jack was silent.
I don't know what's on his mind.
But I know, it must have something to do with Claire.
This guy is like keeping a lot of secrets.
Much he knows.
There is a lot he is hiding.
All I know is, is,
Claire is a mutant.
And either my guess is right or not..
.. then this man before me might as well be a mutant from the start.
And of course I don't forget the fact that the Earth's apocalypse was caused by a group of mutants.
My question now is...
Are Brother Jack and Claire concerned with the cause of the Earth's apocalypse three years ago?
If so, maybe he actually knows who we will face later.
Might as well... Jack's brother hid it.
