21. Who is She?

"Did I see wrong?" Kimberly asked with her confused face.

Claire took off her embrace. "Huh? See what?" Ask Claire wonder.

"So I saw here a woman who was fighting with you, Claire. Maybe it was just my imagination."

Claire looked at Jack with a sweet grin on her face.

Jack replied with a faint smile.

"Hahaha, not imagination, that's how it was." Claire told Kimberly.

"What's!? So that wasn't my imagination!? Then are you okay!? Doesn't that mean you lost control!? Where the woman was"

"It's Kim, don't worry, I'm fine! I've been able to control my powers, the woman ran away, she's the chip thief." I clearly.

"You can already control your power!? Seriously!?” Kimberly asked in astonishment, turning to Jack to make sure that Claire said the right thing. Jack nodded slowly. “Waahh!! As long as yaa!" kimberly said as she hugged Claire.

"Eh wait."

Kim took off his embrace, then he looked at Claire fixedly. "YOU'VE JUST BEEN DEALING WITH THAT VILLAIN!?"

Claire nodded, then smiled sweetly. "Remind me, I'm okay, okay."

Kimberly turned towards Jack still with a look of disbelief.

Jack just turned his face away.

Even so, he knew very well what his attitude meant. Away face\= Yes.

Kimberly breathed a sigh of relief.

"Jack, would you please scan if there are any more targets in these 4 directions?" kimberly said back with her signature wise tone.

Claire looked in the four directions visible from the rooftop where she was now.

"Nothing" said Jack briefly.

"All right, let's just end this mission" Kimberly said.

"I'll reset the earzoom" said Jack, releasing the black headset and setting the buttons hidden in the object.

"Ohh... Our earzoom's central setting is on his earzoom?" Whisper Claire to Kimberly.

"Yes, that's it. Because its power dominates technology the most." Kimberly said.

Then Jack put his earzoom back on after he was done with his business earlier.

"Jack in, this mission is done. We'll meet in the auditorium." Jack said through his earzoom.

"Come on!" kimberly said she took Claire and Jack down to the floor below, the 3rd floor, where the auditorium was located.

"Wait a minute" Claire said suddenly.

Kim looked over, "Why?"

"Jack, stand here." Claire told Jack to stand in front of her.

Jack frowned confused, “For what?”

“Sudaah... just do it!” Claire squinted her eyes, as if threatening the man. But in fact, it looks adorable.

Even Kim saw him get anxious, let alone this man.

Although Kim is not Val who can read minds, but he knows secretly, Jack agrees with him.

Finally, Jack let out a sigh of resignation and did what Claire told him to do.

Then Claire's hand was raised and held Jack's shoulders with a little tiptoe (because the height was far enough), and healing Claire worked perfectly on Jack's body.

Jack smiled faintly, "Thank you." Briefly talk.

The three of them descended from the rooftop to the third floor.

Claire and Jack walk in front, while Kimberly secretly slows her way so she runs behind Claire and Jack.

'Hope she can treat you better, than I can.' Inner Kimberly with her sweet smile.

[Claire’s POV]

"What's!? You met him!?" Val said out loud.

I haven't explained it yet, and as usual, she reads my mind.

"Val, let Claire explain it first, we will be confused" said Ruby who was sipping lemon tea that she just bought, thirsty he said.

Val still rounded his eyes in shock.

"Yes, I just met the criminal, she's a girl." My word.

Everyone here rounded their eyes except me, Jack and Kim.

"W-what??" Ruby asked in disbelief.

"Yes, he is right, and he has punished him with his strength" Kim said, turning to me with a proud smile.

A Kimberly is proud of me!!

"You can already control it!? Congratulations to Claire!" Ruby said slightly deviating from the topic, but it's okay, I'm happy!!

The others smiled at me, except Jack.

Yeah, what's expected of him? Warm smile? I'd celebrate if he did that.

"How's his face?" Rylan asked back on the topic.

I'm remembering. "I don't know, she's wearing a hood that covers her face.."

"Eh? A woman with a hood and a long robe?" Ruby said suddenly.

"Yes right!"

"Rylan and I met him!"

"What!?" Now we've all jumped in shock except for Jack, Rylan and Ruby.

"So what does this mean?" My toot.

"I think he's actually after you, but he's gonna have to kill Ruby first because Ruby's protecting your body with her supersonic."

The longest sentence Zav ever said.

But. could be, anyway.

"Yes, indirectly, he wants to get rid of the protective covering on your body and kill you" Jack said, agreeing with Zav's theory.

Isha! Why is he so once!

"Sst." whispered Val glaring at Jack.

And Jack just sniffed his shoulders no matter what.

"Ruby, can you just take your protectors off?" I told Ruby. Of course I don't want to drag Ruby with a problem where life is at stake.

Ruby. "Huh!? It won't! That's dangerous!"

"Just calm down, I've mastered my powers." I said and smiled.

I think Ruby has sacrificed enough for me, even she is willing to feel the pain if I am hurt.

Naturally, we pure mutants are not a people whose job it is to protect, our natural nature is to protect ourselves, to be selfish. Since the beginning of our existence is indeed threatened by ordinary humans. So, if you're wondering why I like to hang out with humans here, it's because I'm not used to being in a peaceful environment. More precisely, we have an evil nature.

So I was amazed by these guys.

"Thank you." I said to him who was replied with a nod. He still smiles doubtfully.

"Back to topic, so we have to look for data about it" Kim said.

Yeah, for that matter, between Jack, Rylan or Zav. They men are taught to hack, search for someone's data, gather information or even hack accounts.

Zav raised his hand and disappeared!?

A second later, he had already returned with the laptop in his right hand.

And the work of a hacker expert begins.

"According to the footage from Jack's recorder pen, the villain's face was similar to Claire's," Zav looked at me seriously, "but his name and data were not listed at all. It's not everywhere…"
