PROLOG: The Next War

The man is gone. 

Leaving his five friends, stood. Quivering.

One of the abandoned girls, instantly opened his mouth. "Kim... Why did you lie to her?" he asked with a trembling voice.

"What are you hiding from all of us?" ask one of the men there. His heart beat was unrelenting.

The girl with the amber bead was unmoved, her eyes glaring in fear. "S-actually, I don't know yet how this ends."

"P-my vision is not finished.. until the end."

The four people were stifled.

"YOU... DON'T KNOW THE END OF IT ALL GOOD OR BAD?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"

The girl nodded. Not at all.

It seriously.

One of the four men fell on the ground, his body was unable to stand. His eyes were empty.

"He's gone already."

The amber-mannered girl lowered her head, feeling guilty. But he had no regrets, because .. he knew exactly what he was doing. 

Three more years.

Only three more years will he have to wait, until his vision is complete.

Hopefully, he's not late.

Three years later.

MARTIAN. JUNE 10, 2022.

"Professor Zen! Quick look at this!"

A man in a white lab coat turned to his agitated-looking assistant looking at the hologram screen displaying the state of outer space.

The man named Zen with the title of professor immediately ran to see the hologram.

Instantly, his jaw dropped, after seeing that the hologram detected the planet Earth with a human inside.

He rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

The earth's.

The planet that since three years ago only had one human in it, the last human that three years ago was accidentally left behind when the entire population of Earth evacuated to the planet Mars. Now, he has been evacuated to the planet.

So in other words, Earth has become an empty planet.

But. it doesn't seem.

"Professor Ally, scan how many."

Assistant professor Zen touched the writing 'scan' on the hologram in front of him, then emerged complete information about the state of the planet Earth is monitored from the satellite Mars.

Professor Ally rolled her eyes.

One guy.

"It looks like he's the one left behind during the mass evacuation jug-"

"No way." Professor Zen raised his glasses, staring at the hologram screen sharply. "The last time anyone was left was three years ago, when the state of the earth was not worth seeing. So now, there's no way anyone can survive three years without food and clean water" Professor Zen said.

"Or..."

"... Is he not a human?" guess Professor Ally while watching the hologram.

Professor Zen turned his head with his eyebrows clutched.

"Yes, I know this is impossible, but-"

"Ally, three years ago the Earth was almost wiped out just because of a superhuman showdown called mutants. So nothing is impossible now." said Professor Zen.

He had been researching the tragedy of the near-destruction of the Earth for three years, and true, he found data on the existence of a special school of strange creatures. And not just one, because that weird school is in every country.

That mutant creature has a supernatural power that makes no sense logically. But the truth is, it's all artificial. Mutanization was done by the Earth professor to create such a creature. End of the apocalypse for Earth man.

Luckily, it was Professor Zen's daughter, who saw for herself the mutant infighting in the United States at the time.

Suddenly, Professor Zen trembled, his heart started pounding. He looked at Ally.

He forgot one thing.

"Over this time..."

"... The mutant who nearly destroyed the Earth, is he dead?" Professor Zen asked half-shakingly.

"Professor, we never managed to detect him. Did you forget?" Professor Ally was confused. He did not understand what Professor Zen was thinking.

The look on Professor Zen's face turned pale, with a fright on his face. Regardless of Ally's question, he left his assistant.

"Find five people who have rare abilities,"

"... or at least, that's pretty tough." Professor Zen said, then walked out of the research room, busy arguing with his own mind.

It is time he used the results of his discoveries that he had kept secret.

Sooner or later something like that will happen again. The war is not over, he expected it.

But..

What if he fails?

It could have eaten a soul if the five people were not strong enough to withstand the effects of the change.

But he was determined, however, that he should succeed.

If the killer mutant is not dead, then soon the killer mutant will come to Mars, looking for prey here.

Zen will not be negligent. He promise.

If Professor Earth had created a mutant and nearly destroyed his own planet, this time he would have created a mutant to guard his planet, Mars. He didn't want the same thing to happen to Mars.

Because if this time it is destroyed as well, maybe that is the end of human life.
