AGENT: The Agent of Mutants

AGENT: The Agent of Mutants
EPILOGUES

One month later…

He started breathing again.

His consciousness slowly returned.

He should have understood, however hard he tried to end his own life, it still would not work.

This time, he decided not to repeat it again.

It won't.

Because he was sure about two things,

First, there was someone who shouted his name just as he killed himself.

Second, he was very sure it was Claire.

“Alright, now I'll find a way to live.” Mumbled.

He realized, it was stupid enough for him to kill himself many times, even to countless, when he could not die.

But how else?

I'm sure if you were him, you'd do the same. The Immortal was his strength that he had almost forgotten that the power was on him.

It was this power that saved him from death.

In fact, the immortal was an extremely extraordinary power only if the situation was not in the apocalypse.

The man sighed, brainwashed.how to find a way out of this misfortune.

“For my strength not only to survive, but also to be able to turn on.” he realized something, “..

He began to describe what he should do now.

His eyes scoured the surroundings, searching for the existence of any small creature he could use to try that possibility.

He knew clearly, the possibility was very small. But try if you're alone on Earth for a month, there's no running water, there's no one selling satay through, there's no food you can easily get. It must be as small as possible, you'll try, right?

So did he.

This is a form of despair with a much more frustrating level.

He continued to search, until he finally found a dead mouse.

With resignation, he approached the mouse and extended his hand over the dead mouse. Unexpectedly, his hand released white auras that crept out, the white aura coming towards the rat's body, and enveloping it like it was covered in smoke.

The man looked up, and was astonished when he saw the mouse move.

He rounded his eyes when he saw the mouse running.

“That mouse... live?!” he mumbled in disbelief.

The man was stunned, he did not expect the small possibility of it actually succeeding. Without gawking again, he quickly ran towards where he last woke up, which is where the former west AOM building. Used, because now it's leveled with the ground.

To be more precise, all the surrounding buildings were already flattened to the ground.

The man got rid of the concrete, and the debris of the collapsed buildings. He searched the five bodies.

His heart beat violently, feeling that there was hope in his heart.

“Me.” He muttered, then with vigor, he lined up the five corpses to line up.

Luckily for him, the corpse of a mutant is odorless and can't be rotten.

The man rubbed his palms together, then pressed his hands forward, just above the five corpses.

He closed his eyes, hoping it would work. The man gave off all his strength, he felt as if the water in his body was flowing out through his palms.

He closed his eyes even tighter, afraid to accept the fact that the result would fail.

Because honestly he no longer knows what he has to do in order to get out of this bad luck.

One sec..

Two…

Ti-ti

“Jack.?”

A voice made both of the men's eyes widen.

His eyes widened even more when he saw the five bodies of his friend back...

... live.

The man rubbed his eyes in disbelief, whether this was just a dream, a hallucination, or the eyes of his friends were indeed open.

The man looked at the five bodies of his friend. They looked very fresh, there were no wounds or scars, the blood that had once colored their clothes, now.

Both of the men's lips were raised. He smiled widely.

For the first time in a month, he felt a tremendous relief.

Hopefulness. It was lost, but now, he had it again in his soul.

“You guys look healthier than me, huh?” jack said with a smile etched beautifully on his face.

“HAHAHA! Thanks, Jack!” rylan said with a laugh.

“Actually I want to say that your immortal can you transmit a little to bring living things to life, but.. Yes, let you be confused a month.” Kimberly said with an innocent grin, making Jack glare when he heard it.

“You shouldn't have turned on.”

“HAHAHA!”

The five mutants stood up, then walked towards him.

Valerie looked around. “Woahh... You lived alone here a month?” he asked when he realized how old the planet was now.

Jack nodded, “Pity, right?”

Valerie moved her lower lip, then nodded.

"I'm sure past-"

ZREEETTT

It was as if the universe was indeed unwilling that the six mutants breathed a sigh of relief for a moment, suddenly seen a jet coming closer.

“It turns out there are people who survived and had time to evacuate themselves.” muttered Jack while watching the jet from below.

Zav sighed, “They must have detected your presence.”

“That's great, then let's go from here.” Jack said with an enthusiastic smile. It seemed like he was already a hundred percent fed up with this place, of course a month alone on a barren planet was not a pleasant experience.

Zav walked up to Jack, then patted his shoulder casually. “They're definitely only preparing for one man, Jack. You just turned on the five of us about five minutes ago, where we might have been detected.”

Momentary silence…

“Val, please erase the memory of that jet crew, I don't want to go.” Said Jack steady.

Of course he chose to stay with his friends. Just now that his heart had calmed down and could breathe a sigh of relief, he could not possibly choose the option that would take it all back.

When Val was about to walk toward the jet that had just landed, the movement stopped.

“No.” Kimberly held Valerie's hand, then turned her gaze on Jack, “You have to go, we will stay.” Tutored firmly.

Jack furrowed his brows, "How can you live here? I can always live, I can't die. That way I can keep you alive as long as we're together."

Kim walked over, "You can keep us alive, but..." Kim looked at Jack seriously, "I know exactly the future." Kimberly Assert. It sounds a little disconnected, but Jack understands what it means.

Jack looked at Kim deeply, "What will happen? You must tell me, break the laws of nature once again."

Kim smiled faintly. “We have to keep an eye on Claire, wherever she is. Claire is still a danger. So we will keep it from far.”

Kimberly was honest, but it was actually just an excuse.

Jack's forehead shriveled, “’From afar?'"

Kimberly nodded, “I already have access to stay in parallel dimensions.” He said, making everyone there stupefied.

Kimberly chuckled, “So take it easy, you come with them. I have my own place, they can stay with me.” He said, glancing at his four friends.

“WOAAHH!! I WANT! I WANT!” ruby said enthusiastically. So too with the others. They were amazed by Kimberly, her strength was already up to that high.

"What's the parallel dimension, Kim? Have you been there?" Val asked curiously.

"Already, the parallel dimension is a universe that exists side by side with our universe, with the same character, but lives in different circumstances. In other words, 'we' also exist in the parallel dimension, it's just that our circumstances are different. The place is very safe, but there are many rules that we must obey later." explains Kimberly at length.

“Tell me, which future have you seen, Kim?” Jack asked skeptically. Not that he wanted to challenge Kimberly, but he just wanted something certain. After all, this decision was a big one.

Kimberly smiled, “Can't you just trust me, Jack?”

Jack furrowed his brows, “You let me despair alone for a month, Kim.”

Kimberly pursed her lips, so she felt guilty.

“Sorry yes. but this time.I promise not to disappoint. Calm down.”

Yeah, relax.

Now, all they need is calm down.

This time the Universe is on their side.

They just have to keep both suns shining.

And Jack's destiny is to guard the other sun.

So that when the two suns meet, there will be none brighter or fainter.

Nothing will be destroyed.

Kimberly smiled calmly. "It's not over yet."

"Go Jack, trust me."

"We'll all meet again someday."
