AGENT: The Agent of Mutants

AGENT: The Agent of Mutants
74. Something is off

[Axelia's POV]

"Put your weapon forward, then follow my cue once more" Kevin said firmly.

Kevin is my guide from now on. It turned out that each of us had a guide to train using superpowers, sharpen sensitivities around, and certainly train us using available weapons.

This guy next to me is Kevin, about seven years older than me. His stature is quite high, his body is stocky but not excessive (it seems he often exercise, unlike me who is lazy), his skin is exotic brown, and his face is decent. But not so handsome.

Good then, I'm the laziest if guided by a handsome man. THE THING IS, I'M GONNA GET NERVOUS! And ended up failing at practice because of not focusing on continuing.

So this is really a relief.

"Axelia?" Kevin was confused.

"Ah, yes-yes!"

Hehe..

All right, I'll focus!!

I raised the weapon I was holding tightly. I had even forgotten what his name was, Kevin had told me, but his name was so hard! As a result, I have forgotten.

But this thing I'm holding is black (all the weapons here are black), but there's a pretty little lavender stone embedded in the bottom, where the trigger should be.

I just realized, it looks like each weapon has its own special color. Although dominant black, but always interspersed with bright colors.

I took aim by closing my eyes, focusing on the human-shaped doll that was attached twenty meters away from me (i had my doubts, is this not too far away?) then wait for Kevin's cue so I can shoot.

This weapon is strange, looks like a shot along the arm, and is quite large but not heavy. Like a gunshot, this gun has no trigger. I was confused earlier, fortunately Kevin told me how to wear it.

Activated with the shooter's fingerprints, it will launch a bullet when the shooter touches the beautiful lavender stone earlier. That's how.

Pretty easy.

"Shoot."

DDAARR!

"YESY!"

I was shocked.

Two things surprised me. Where should I look first?! Pressurized or forward?!

On my right side, three meters away from me, was Hera

HOLY SHIT!

"Raa?? You okay??" I was worried, but I didn't dare to come closer.

It seemed like he was startled to hear my gunshot, until his knee squeezed and fell to his knees like that.

In both hands, small flashes spread from his palms to his arms.

I've only seen lightning like that once in a lifetime.

I was amazed.

But before long, because the girl kept looking at me with a panicked look.

A split second later, the entire green field was filled with noise, too many panicked, too many voices.

"HERA!!"

"RA! Holy jeez!" a man, Hera's guide perhaps, immediately ran as fast as lightning approached the girl. "Look at me!" he pointed at himself.

Hera turned her gaze at the man, still with a panicked look from not being able to control his strength.

"Now take a breath..." Hera took her breath.

"Then throw away. fiuuhhh.." the man demonstrated a breath movement, followed by Hera, who was even frightened by her own strength.

Both were watched by all of us. Me, Kevin, Jack, Alice, Alex, and their mentors. No one's picking. Our guides looked at Hera with awe, as did me and Alex (she was very far away from me, but I could still see her expression). While Jack and Alice only looked at Hera from afar with flat faces.

(Our position is: This field is square. I'm on the left-most back of the field, Hera is on the right-back side of the field. Alex trained in the middle of the field with his supervisor. While Jack on the front left side of the field, opposite to me, and Alice on the front right side of the field, opposite to Hera)

So it was only natural that Hera could hear my gunshot the most, because the others were too far away.

Ahh. I feel guilty...

I didn't know Hera wasn't wearing ear protection.

"Eh uh!! Where you going?!" Kevin saw me walking towards Hera. "Don't go near there!" I turned my head, then gave her a 'it' gesture, then walked back.

I doubt it, but I have to apologize.

I've heard stories about Zeus, the Greek god who had the power of lightning(?) or thunder, huh? or electricity? Ah, whatever it is!! It was like what was in front of my eyes right now!

I walked closer to Hera, who was still taught to be calm by her guide.

When our distance was thinning, he turned his gaze to me.

Oh yahoooo!!!!!

BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL CANTIIIKK!!!!

I'M GOING TO FAINT!

No, don't. Don't help Liaa now!

Her brown hair was extended to the chest, sparkling well-groomed. Around his face was dripping a little sweat - which I was sure was because he was tense and panicked, not to mention on this open field, his sun was scorching once - and because of that, both of his cheeks were red, her lips are fresh pink. Her sea-blue iris looked at me with an inexplicable highlight.

I was flirted for a moment.

Crazy..beautiful not playing.until in the room I'll cry, period.

"Hera.." I glanced at the thunderbolts in his hand, there were still small sparks as it turned out.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I stepped closer. But he immediately retreated away.

"Ehh, it's okay!! Just relax." Hera smiled sweetly. But I knew he was carefully adjacent to others as long as the lightning was still in his hands.

I-i understand. All right, I'll just stop here. Don't come any closer.

But besides that... LOOK AT THAT CUTE FACE!

SO PRETTY! SIMILAR TO-

With the..

"I'll wear ear protection, Lia. Don't worry." she said, perhaps realizing I was looking at her face for too long.

He smiled knot.

I returned his smile, "I'm sorry again.I'm going to practice using another weapon. I'm tired of this, haha!"

Lying a little doesn't matter.

Shortly after, Kevin called me back to training with him.

I waved at Hera, then walked towards Kevin.

"I want to change weapons, afraid to interfere again."

Kevin nodded, "Come to the armory, I'll take the other weapon with me."

I smiled thinly.

Before I walk away, I don't know why I want to look back.

I want to know someone's reaction..

Brother Jack.

His mentor had already called him to refocus on training.

But...

... he was still watching Hera from afar.

Apparently, it's not just me who thinks that Hera looks like her.

Ishera Harly...

.. and..

Claire Harly...

It's freaky.
