[Claire’s POV]

“Claire, the chip is in west AOM building. Quickly get here.” Valerie from my earzoom.

“Yes. I know Val. I'm already on my way there.” I reply, then turn off my earzoom.

Jack slows down the speed of his motor, “What does he say?” tanyakanya.

“Val says the chip is ad in West AOM building!” I said a little screamed, because on the motorbike surely if slowly inaudible, right?

Jack and I actually knew. Thanks to the broccoli man, his last sentence before fainting was: “Chipnya is in the West AOM building.” Then without waiting any longer, Jack and I got back on this bike and went straight there.

Ah, anyway…

I thought about his words earlier…

Is that true? Or is he just kidding? Why didn't he discuss that again or.... just ask him again...at least?

Jack got off his bike, after opening his helmet, he took Claire's helmet from both hands, then put the two helmets on both of his motorcycle spies. Jack smiled faintly at Claire, even the girl was not aware at all her helmet was taken.

His gaze continued to lead to the building in front of them.

“Come in.” Jack said in a very calm tone, as if there was no Apesta in there.

Claire frowned in wonder, “You can be that calm.”

“Don't be too tense, your heartbeat sounded until here know.” Jack said with a ignorant sneer.

Claire screeched, “How can I calm down if there is the Apesta.” He muttered and looked around again.

He looked up at three motorcycles parked next to Jack's. “Ah, yes! Where are the others?! Their motor is already parked in sin-“

“Claire!!” yelled someone from behind.

Claire looked back, she flinched when she saw Valerie with Zav next to her running towards them.

That's not what's surprising.

But…. Valerie brought a body.

Claire gawked, her brain still processing what words she had to put out seeing a corpse covered in blood like that.

Zav next to Val is also covered in blood, no. It's just his clothes. While Val's clothes are still a bit cleaner than Zav's. With the sight she saw, Claire was able to conclude that the one who killed that person was Zav.

“AH, FINALLY YOU CAME!” Val shouted enthusiastically just after Val and Zav had already arrived in front of them.

Claire swallowed her saliva, “I have never seen anyone who has just killed anyone with such an enthusiastic face.” he said with a blank look. It was as if his spirit was flying in shock.

Claire further gawked at Val's explanation in that light tone. “S-only? What do you mean, Val?” claire asked with a confused smile.

Zav nodded, “Iya. The only.”

Claire frowned, but kept smiling, “Masa.... Inside a building this big there is only one guard? There are a lot of people, right? Then why did you bring this corpse to me? Why not bully another guard to tell the location of that chip?”

“Iya was a lot of guards before. but have been killed all.” Val said lightly.

Claire shut her mouth, she slumped. “D-killed... by?”.

Zav pointed towards the back of Claire with his chin, “Tuh.”

As Claire looked back, her entire body gagged instantly.

“AH, IT'S DIA CLAIRE!”

“HALO CLAIRE!!”

All her life, Claire never felt this bad.

Jack embraces the girl's shoulder, he looks at her worriedly. “You okay?”

Claire looked at Jack in disbelief, “I want to vomit it feels.”

Rylan dragged the two bloodied corpses, behind him, Kim walked leisurely without any blood on his clothes, he walked with his bare hands.

Then, behind the two of them, looks Ruby who walked away from them while covering her nose with a handkerchief.

As soon as they all got in front of Claire, Rylan removed his grasp from the corpse, and dropped the corpses to the ground.

“Claire, please dong-erh! Zav and Val also brought a dead body, after all!” said Rylan who was finally distracted by the corpse behind Val.

Zav smiles proudly, “Yes yes!” he said, making Claire really out of words.

“GUYS!”

“WHY DID YOU BRING THESE BODIES TO ME?” claire said loudly with a look of disdain. His stomach's not playing.

All speechless.

Ruby approached Claire, then gave her a pink handkerchief. “Nih, I have one more.” He said without removing the blue handkerchief from his nose.

“Thanks.” Claire then covered her nose with the pink handkerchief.

Jack looked at Rylan, Val, and Zav with a cold gaze. “You guys are stupid or how?” jack suddenly said.

He sighed, then looked at Claire. “Sorry, Claire. They brought these bodies for you to heal, so they could be informants about the location of the chip.” he explained, then looked back at the three friends one by one (Val, Zav, Zav, and Rylan) “But somehow they can eat a lot of koban... Then earzoom was created for what?” said Jack coldly.

In an instant, the air around them grew cold, the situation became sinister, leaving Claire and Ruby shuddering in horror.

Meanwhile, the three people who were stared coldly by Jack fell silent.

“How can you guys ‘not accidentally’ kill them? Have you lost control? I know you guys have never been like that.” continued Jack cold. Obviously he was angry. Their mission from the beginning was not to make people's lives drift, let alone kill innocent people.

Killing one person is fatal. Especially one building?!

Jack thought, should, if you want to bully the guard, don't let the guy die. After all, even if one of his friends accidentally killed one person, they should be able to communicate through earzoom ‘I've caught one, let's take this directly to Claire.’ Is that too hard to do? They were walking in an underground passageway.

At first, Claire was confused.she just found out that this kind of basement still exists. Moreover, the outside appearance of this building is cool, who would have thought that the building filled with holograms and drones has a basement whose path is only illuminated with a chandelier whose axis is kerosene. Like old times.

“Zav, just run, if it is slow like this, it can be first by Apesta.” Claire walks behind Jack. Jack is behind Zav. Anticipation said.

Finally, they had stopped in front of a door made of wood. At the door was a rusty padlock that had been opened. Around the door there was not a single lamp, the hall was dark and smelly with dust, but it was different from the door in front of them.

“So...the chip is here?” ask Claire carefully. To be honest, he was tense. I don't know what's wrong, but he doesn't feel good.
