AGENT: The Agent of Mutants

AGENT: The Agent of Mutants
13. The Day

3 Days later..

Saturday, 13 January 2051

[Claire’s POV]

I saw a reflection of myself in the mirror that was the size of my body in the room.

Today my black hair highlights will be tied up, so as not to trouble the important mission today.

I brought my sling bag today (no color lessons).

On my school's birthday, all students are required to wear Monday uniforms, like this.

Bizarrely.

No, not his weird uniform.

Uniform's good.

It's just..

Comeon! Me and my friends are agents on a mission!

My seniors at AOM used to wear their cool uniforms and dominate agents! But why do me and my friends who are on such an important mission wear high school uniforms!?

I can't imagine a girl whispering with her earrings while getting ready to pick up the dagger in her pocket silently.. WITH THAT UNIFORM!

Let's compare my uniform on this important mission, with my senior uniform.

I pissed? Evidently.

I don't know, maybe this is the fate of an agent who was put in a school to carry out his mission.

Why should I be at school? It's not cool at all...

The sound of the shower from the two bathrooms was a little disturbing.

Actually, it was Nancy. He occupies the bathroom in the right corner of the room, and Val in the bathroom in the left corner of the room.

They're taking a shower, then getting ready for school.

By the way, want to know where my equipment was given at yesterday's meeting?

One dagger, a watch with a surveillance camera, and a voice recorder pen.

A small dagger neatly tucked away in my transparent stocking covered by a skirt, on my left wrist, was a watch that looked nice and expensive (not really just a look, but it was expensive, AOM is good), but this watch has surveillance cameras so that the footage can be seen as soon as today's mission is complete, and in my shirt pocket there is a voice recorder pen.

Already, that's all. I think Kim has more guns, because he's alone in the south.

"I'm sorry I'm old" Val said just out of the bathroom.

"It's okay."

Val was already complete with her uniform, she walked towards her dresser (each of us had 3 dressers, remember?) He combed his light blonde hair and let his hair unravel. He might not be bothered with his hair. Val is more experienced.

"Sorry old, hehe." The next moment, Nancy came out of the bathroom with a whim.

"Yes, relax." I said with a smile to reassure him.

Not waiting any longer, after we finished, we immediately went out of the room.

In the elevator, silence. I was busy thinking about what would happen next.

'Claire, we'll meet the other agents first in the back garden of the hostel.'

Okay, Val. I'll find a way later.

(My speech is in my heart, although I know I can't telepathically, but Val can read my mind, so it's the same, right?)

Val didn't reply anymore because the elevator doors were already open, showing our dorm lobby.

Even though Val didn't answer, I'm sure from his confused face that I said 'I'll find a way'.

When we got out of the lobby, I started thinking that way. Way to keep Nancy from being with us anymore.

Uh!

I have an idea!

I paved my way to get behind Val and Nancy. They didn't realize I was backing out. Then I took off my two (my earzoom) and put them in a bag.

"Oh yes!"

Val and Nancy looked at me at the same time.

"Why Claire?" Nancy asked, she knitted her brow in confusion.

"I forgot to put my earrings on, well I put where ya!?" I said as I opened my white sling bag with an anxious face.

"Yes left?" Ask Nancy.

E-eh well, I'm wrong to say. why glass, anyway?! Ah yes it is.

All right, now I'm not feeling good to Nancy because if my little plan works, it means she has to walk alone.

"Ohh okay." Val replied as he opened his sling bag. Good thing, Val immediately understood and continued my plan. It has nothing to do with glass.

Val! Are you reading my mind now? If so, please help me keep Nancy from being alone.

Then Val glanced at me silently while looking for a glass in her bag. I'm sure he understands what I mean.

Then the direction of his eyes was like looking for someone, with Val still looking for a glass (yes, but that's it) he looked at a woman - whom I didn't know her name - from the corner of Val's eyes, then, the woman who had been walking alone past the three of us, suddenly turned her head, then walked up to the three of us.

Looks like Val took over his mind.

"Eh? Nancy's? Val? Claire..? Hello!"

He know my name?

"Hello, Sa." said Nancy along with Val.

The sa? A vegetable? The sasa?

"Uhm, hello.." I said hesitantly.

"You don't know me yet, do you? My name is Vanessa, greetings." she said with a smile on her face.

I returned her smile "Greetings know too, Clair-"

"I know your name." He said with a smile again.

All right, there's no time for this introduction, surely the others are already waiting for me and Val in the back garden of the dorm.

"Okee's." I replied with a bit of uneasiness, because it was certain that Val and I were late again.

"Nancy, by the way, you're called the principal, it looks like you want to be made a committee, even if it's a bit sudden but it seems like you have to go there."

Ah, Thank God!

And.. Val.

"Ohh so, yeah already.. Val, Claire I'm ahead, sorry I can't accompany you."

He said with a guilty face.

"It's okay, really." I smile.

"Geez, I put it in a bag, the glass!" val says it sounds silly, but he's smart enough for Nancy not to suspect that Val is stalling.

"First yes." said Vanessa with a Nancy smile.

"Yeah." I said along with Val.

A second later, Val pulled my hand and ran as fast as she could to the garden behind the dorm.

"Good thinking, Claire." He said with a grin on the sidelines running.

○○○

"Sorry late." I said along with Val, we're like twins now.

"Yes, it's okay. Come on!" take Kim.

Then Jack continued the sentence that was cut off by me and Val.

"We're going to disguise the name this time" Jack said.

"Because the show will be crowded, there is no time to find a safe place to whisper with the earzoom, so we have to whisper openly, but with another name."

"Alright, that makes sense" Rylan said.

"The criminal's men will be called targets, the criminals will be called bombs, and the pseudonyms for their respective partners, that's what you decide." continued Jack.

"Alright, we should try not to look flashy, create noise or anything that can get the attention of others, because automatically the target will also know our disguise" said Kim.

"Kimberly, I don't think you can use your powers this time" Zav said suddenly.

Uhm, I think that's true.

"Yes. Logically, if time stops, it won't work for targets and bombs, because they're mutants, too, if there's a little movement when you stop time, they will immediately find out which agents emissaries from AOM and which ones are ordinary humans" Ruby said in her thoughts.

"OK, I get it." Kim agreed.

"By the way, the right earzoom is already connected to their respective partners, right?" Ask Val to Jack.

"Yes, it's been reset" replied Jack.

"If anything suspicious, record it with a watch or pen, indirectly the two objects will be connected to the monitoring room." explained Zav, who was not up to a second, the look on his face immediately changed.

I furrowed my eyebrows. “Monitor room?”

Kim looked at Zav. Kim looked like…

… surprised?
