"Ally, have your men drive him here" Zen said.
Ally nodded, then immediately whispered to her earpiece. Ask a professor to escort the next person.
The five of them were already sitting sweetly in the meeting room belonging to Zen which was dominated by black. The temperature of the room had been made as cold as possible, so that the flames that sometimes came out suddenly from both hands Alex did not make the other overheated.
"So...what's your name?" alex asked with a smile, after introducing himself to Alice.
Axelia next to him just chuckled softly, "Hat habit." he muttered.
Alice glanced at Alex who was sitting opposite her, then turned her eyes back to the piece of paper she was reading. "So Professor Zen said, why ask again?" he said, without looking at Alex's face.
It is true, Zen had already called his name.but the red-haired ginger man meant he wanted to know his long name.
Despite Alice's sinister response, Alex still did not take it seriously and still did not give up throwing questions.
Until finally he began to get tired because no matter how much he tried to open the topic of conversation with Alice, there was still no answer. Alice's best response was just a quick glance at Alex, then a lazy eye rolled. It only happens once.
"Dad knows her, huh?" axelia asked Zen who had only read the data on her hologram tablet.
Zen nodded, "Yes," he turned to Alice, "his father Alice was a friend of father's first."
Alice turned to Zen, feeling her name being mentioned. Then he smiled politely, causing Alex to falter for a split second. "Fromance.." murmured Alex slowly.
Axelia was shocked. "Friendly father?! Professor Brian Alejandro Lourdes?!" Axelia doesn't know her father's best friend other than that handsome guy. Professor Brian Alejandro Lourdes, a young man with the title of professor who is actually more suitable to work as a model, according to Axelia.
Zen nodded, as did Alice. Although his father was like a stranger to him because he rarely met him, but how could a child not acknowledge his father? There may be, but it's not Alice Lourdes.
Axelia looked even more surprised. "Whatt's?! Where maybe?!!" his question was answered nodding by Zen. Then he looked at Alice. "Seriously??" axelia asked still in disbelief. Obviously he was shocked. Who is not surprised to find out that the handsome and valiant professor already has a child who is not far from his age.
Not to mention, the fact that Alice is the successor to the name Lourdes, signifies that she must be very rich. Even before the earth did, the whole world also knew the name Lourdes which, if called, already smelled of money. As far as Axelia is concerned, Professor Brian does have countless companies. But he never knew what kind of company the man was in. The man never even became known publicly that he was married and already had a daughter.
Alice only smiled faintly in response to Axelia's shock. "Greetings to Axelia Kozuki."
"S-greetings know too... Lice, just call me Lia." Axelia said slightly stammered. Dealing with the successors of the Lourdes Company was his first time.
Alex mengoel Axelia with his elbow, "Kok she wants to chat with you, but not with me?" alex whispered to Axelia in a wavy tone.
Axelia turned her head, then looked at Alex with a proud expression, as well as being ridiculed. "Girls are more comfortable with girls, you wanna hit her up? Be one of us first." he whispered in a mocking tone, making Alex sigh.
Geck! Geck!
"Log in." said Zen.
Axelia, Alice, Alex, and Ally turned towards the door. They find a professor in a laboratory suit walking in, but only up to the doorstep. "Excuse me Professor Zen, this is the next person." the professor walked back, allowing someone to enter.
It was a man. Her hair was black, her nose was sharp and not too big, her jaw was firmly framed perfectly, her manic was pitch black, and her eyes were intimidating. Her handsome face was not enough to make Axelia limp in love, coupled with her height which if measured would reach one hundred and ninety inches, her body formed, and her exotic skin. Eleven twelve with Alice Lourdes's.
"Lia, wipe your saliva." Alex whispered with a look of disdain.
Lia regained her senses from her beautiful daydream, then rubbed her chin quickly. "Ck, there's no coke." whispered annoyed.
"Sit here, Jack Grayson." Zen allowed the man to sit on the chair next to him.
"J-jack? Brother Jack?!" Axelia. Was it his ear just now, hearing the name 'Jack Grayson' called? He was in disbelief. Jack Grayson, his upperclassman used to be liked by all the girls in his school. She is famous for her cold face and silver hair. Axelia didn't even recognize him just now, his face had become even more handsome, and his hair had returned to its original color, black. It really makes anyone fall in love.
The man walked over, and immediately sat down on the chair next to Zen without further ado. His face looked completely unfriendly. He stared at Zen intently, as if there was something he had to talk about four-eyes with the professor.
"Your face looks like it's gonna punch me." Zen smiled, "don't do it now, just later after this meeting is over" he said calmly.
Meanwhile, Alex chuckles amusedly at Axelia who constantly looks at Jack with a gaze of falling in love. "Wink times." Alex whispered to Axelia, nudging the woman with his elbow.
Unlike them, Alice did not even turn her gaze away from the data she had read from earlier. For him, the data was more important than paying attention around. That is data that contains the results of research of R.D.C.M organization during these three years.
Suddenly Alice sighed harshly, making the others turn to her. "For three years..The organization has never made any valuable discoveries?" alice said with a disappointed tone. He looked at Zen and Ally. "This is the data? So you guys really never make anything?"
Ally knitted her brows, feeling offended, then she turned to Zen with a face that was not wearing. As if asking 'What the hell is this kid?' on Zen.
But instead of responding, Zen just smiled - even a little chuckle - as if he was familiar with Alice's sudden words.
Alice furrowed her brows seeing Zen and Ally instead encoding each other with intentions that Alice did not understand. Finally Alice turned her gaze away from the two professors, then looked around.
Seeing Alice and Jack staring at each other, Zen cleared his throat, "Alice. This man is Jack Grayson," he told Alice, then Zen turned to the man next to him. "Jack, she's Alice Lourdes" Zen explained.
Jack furrowed his brows, "Lourdes? Brian Lourdes' son?" a heavy voice came out from the man's vocal cords. Axelia's out of breath across there.
Alice raised her eyebrows. It's no wonder everyone knows his father's name, but Alice feels this man is different. It was as if he knew his father.
Alice thought hard... It seems she knows who this man is.... But who?
In less than two seconds, Alice fell.
"Jack Grayson, the core team leader of Agent of Mutants?" alice asked, making the entire room look at Jack with a surprised look, even though they did not understand what Alice meant.
Jack nodded, not expecting the girl to know him either.
"Are you their leader?!" Alice frowned, "During this time I rarely go home to take care of you and all the team?!"
Jack looked at the girl flatly, "There's nothing to do with me about that." Jack turned his face lazy, "your father didn't do his job right either."
You could say, he was still upset after knowing that Brian had disturbed his moments with Claire at that time. When Brian came in all black and talked to Claire.
Alice furrowed her brows, "What did you say? How can you say that?!"
Although not close to her father, Alice will still be disappointed if her sacrifice was left for years by her mother's father just to say 'your father is not sick'.
"Hermes and Aphrodite are fighting again?" axelia whispered to Alex. Carrying the names of the prettiest Greek god and the prettiest Greek goddess.
Alex can only frown on confusion because he does not understand what Axelia means.
"Already, already!" Zen spoke up, "it's good that you two know each other, but now we have to focus on what we're going to face, don't talk about the past!" says firmly.
"A moment," Axelia suddenly joined the voice, "what's wrong, let's discuss the past first."
"Sister Jack... My upperclassman first, right?" axelia asked with a sweet smile.
Replace, now Alex is chuckling softly. "So much for him." he murmured.
Jack frowned confused, he just realized there was a figure of this girl stabbed opposite him earlier. "Alexa?"
Alex and Zen turned to Axelia in astonishment, not understanding what Jack had just meant.
"The name is Axelia Kozuki, not Alexa" Alex told Jack.
Jack was sure he wasn't the wrong guy. Alexa was a close friend of Claire's. He even remembers clearly about it. More precisely...how could he possibly forget everything related to Claire?
"Anu..." Axelia turned to Alex and Jack in turn. "Alexa's just a pseudonym, my real name is Axelia Kozuki."
Zen knitted his brows in astonishment. "Why are you using a pseudonym, son?"
Hearing Zen's words, Jack became even more confused.
"Yes so that I can go to school quietly, without having to be famous in the school and not have to be visited by news reporters like Junior High" Axelia said honestly, making Zen sigh.
Zen Quentino is the second most famous name in the world after Brian Alejandro Lourdes. They are both professors most determined for the evolution of the world as well as the advancement of technology. And incidentally, both of them are best friends. How lucky would the world be if they were still working together? How advanced will the planet be?
"Your pseudonym is similar to someone's, huh?" alex teased him intentionally.
Axelia did not have time to respond to Alex's words again, she immediately pointed Jack with a question. "Do Jack's sisters know how Claire is doing? Is he safe??" axelia asked worriedly, remembering her best friend.
Jack remained silent.
For the umpteenth time, those memories came again.
All the things involving a girl named Claire Harlyn, came again.
All those memories were too painful, strangling him so hard.
Crying, hearts.
Suddenly, an ice-cold chill invaded out of nowhere, filling the entire room in an instant.
