AGENT: The Agent of Mutants
69. Hera

Ice crystals began to form, falling from the empty ceiling. Significant changes in air made Axelia shiver in the cold, as did Alice and Alex.

"This...why is it so cold?" alex asked as he rubbed his palms together.

They looked around them with confused faces.

"What are you doing?" alice asked, in a quiet voice only Jack could hear. He looked at Jack.

Out of nowhere, the girl knew.

As soon as Jack realized that his surroundings had become cold, he tried to draw back his energy. As far as he knew, the professor who was guarding him had indeed said something about the mutation and the ice controller... Jack didn't think he really had any new powers right now.

Slowly, the temperature in the room returned to normal, the ice crystals that began to form had instantly melted away.

"Sorry." said Jack slowly.

Zen frowned, only to remember the strength this young man had obtained."What made you do it?"

"I'm sorry." said Jack once again, instead of giving his reasons he apologized.

The man avoided answering that question as much as possible.

Zen looked at Jack confusedly, "But you didn't answer the question"

"It is understandable that you have not been able to adapt to this new power, right? We really need some time to be able to control all this." Alice opened her voice, "That's the reason, she must still be unfamiliar."

Somehow, Alice sounded like she was protecting the man next to her, so as not to be constantly asked questions by Zen.

Zen nodded in understanding, "Ohh, that's right too," Zen sighed, "Alright, let's move on."

Hearing Zen who had been successfully tricked by an alibi, Alice turned to Jack, then when their beads met, Alice gave a sharp look to him. It's like saying 'you've helped me, don't repeat.' Jack gave no response but to turn his face away with a flat face, indifferent.

"Ally, call the last one" Zen told Ally who was standing behind him. Ally nodded, then called the last person through her earpiece.

"Zen, we don't have to sedate him first? Then it will be brought in a fainting state just here." asked Ally to Zen, making the others link their eyebrows confused.

"Why indeed? Should I be drugged first?" ask Axelia curiously.

Zen chuckled slightly, "Why isn't he safe. You don't have to listen to Professor Ally." said Zen with a friendly face trying to convince the four teenagers.

Ally raised both of her eyebrows, looking at Zen in disbelief. "Regally Zen? You think she's safe?" Ally rolled her eyes lazily.

Zen chuckled awkwardly, "Haha.don't listen to him, don't listen.."

Not until two seconds later, the roar of lightning sounded from outside the room, making Alex and Axelia jumped in shock. While Alice was flipping through a piece of paper that she was unceasingly reading, she did not look disturbed at all. While Jack turned his head towards the door with his brows furrowed. I wonder where that voice came from.

ZZRJTT!

A faint sound rang out so loud, that this time there were sparks of lightning striking the glass door of the meeting room, making the entire boardroom rise from its seat.

"WHAT IS THAT?!" Axelia panicked, looking around the doorway that was grabbed by lightning.

Reflex, Alex pulls Axelia behind him to protect the girl, just in case something bad happens.

Once more. The lightning struck the glass door loudly, making a loud bang sound heard by them.

Zen patted his forehead. "Oh no, my door-"

DZZZR!

A larger lightning bolt grabbed the glass door even more forcefully, making the glass door shatter into pieces with nothing left at all.

At this point, Jack got up from his chair. Look towards the doorway vigilantly. He knew very well when entering earlier, the glass door had a thickness of 13 centimeters, and with solid material, not just any glass. But the door shattered into pieces in less than six seconds.

Jack turned his gaze at Zen with his brows furrowed. "What are you planning?!"

Seeing that, Alice let out a tired breath. Forced the girl to put a piece of paper she was reading on the table, then she turned to Jack lazily. "Silent. He was the last person, the Lightning Controller." said Alice.

Jack turned to Alice, then frowned. For a split second he wondered how the girl next to him could know everything. First he knew that the one who created the cold was himself, and now he even knew about the last man.

Then Jack glanced at the piece of paper Alice had placed on the table. It turned out that the paper contained their five biodata in full. Even Jack caught a glimpse of the size of his shoes on there. Quickly, the girl rarely spoke from earlier, it turned out that she was studying their biodata secretly.

Zen let out a sigh of resignation, "I spent two thousand dollars on that door." he muttered. Good was not heard by anyone, because surely he would be seen as annoying by the four teenagers before him.

Axelia rounded her eyes after hearing Alice's words."WH-WHAT?! LIGHTNING CONTROLLER?!"

Soon, there was the sound of a girl crying from outside. Not far from the doorway that just broke.

Zen furrowed his brows in confusion. "What's wrong with her? Why is he crying?" Zen got up from his chair, then ran past the meeting table to approach the source of the sound. Followed by Ally, Axelia, Alex, Alice, and Jack.

Just in front of the doorway, which had broken glass scattered below, a girl was sitting hugging her knees, and drowning her head there. He cried bitterly, making the six who were watching him frown at confusion.

Zen crouched down, equalizing his height with the girl. "Why are you crying?" ask her gently.

Again, Zen asked him. "What's going on? What makes you cry?" Zen rubbed the top of the girl's head slowly, as if inviting her to calm down and immediately showed her face.

The girl raised her head in doubt. As soon as his head was raised, he immediately saw the six people standing looking at him with different expressions.

Alex gulped his saliva, then fell away.

The girl had brunettes along her chest, her eyes were sea blue, large enough to make her face cute. There were tears streaming down both of her cheeks. His nose was sharp and small, all his facial features were framed by a tapered jaw that increasingly made his face look small. His skin is white but not pale. Her body is quite tiny, maybe not up to 160 cm, equivalent to the height of Alice.

He looked at Zen with teary eyes. "Sorry professor, I-I have broken your door." she said stammered, her voice trembling, as if she were going to cry again.

For the second time, Alex is floundering. He closed his mouth in awe, shocked to see another Greek goddess face in front of him.

Meanwhile, Jack pecked for a few seconds. He felt. The face of the lightning girl was very similar to someone...

But he immediately threw away that thought. 'No way.' he said inwardly.

"I guess why," Zen smiled gently, then grabbed both of his shoulders. "What's wrong, it can be replaced. Now. let's go masu-" he hasn't had time to finish his words, when Zen looks down, he just realized that the two girls' hands are still full of small flashes.

Zen immediately got up to his feet, then walked back three steps back. He was surprised not to play when he saw that the lightning was still with the girl from earlier.

"Would I get you a dope injection?" asked Ally, who was also afraid to see those flashes.

"Ck, what the hell are you doing?" Alice rolled her eyes lazily. "Kelama know. Just tell this Japanese girl to let out the lightning girl's spirit for a moment, so she can faint. Beres." said Alice lightly.

The five people who were there turned towards him, looking at him confused as well as amazed. Except Ally who frowned doesn't like it. Ally's confused, who's the real professor here?

Meanwhile the lightning girl looked at them one by one in confusion, not understanding what they meant. Still in the same position, curled up.

Zen flicked his finger. "A right too!" he looked behind him, looking for Axelia. "Son! Please make her faint for a moment." she said to Axelia who was standing at the very back - because the doorway of the meeting was quite narrow - not understanding anything.

Despite the confusion, Axelia still approached Zen. Then as he could see the lightning girl clearly, Axelia clucked softly, amazed. Then he turned to Zen, "Dad doesn't dare him? If yes, do not be made faint dong. later he did not join a meeting about our mission." said Axelia lightly. He knew this meeting would be important - for Zen told him - so that no one should miss this meeting as much as possible.

Still in a confused look not understanding anything, the girl looked at Axelia with an innocent look.

"You all go into the meeting room again! Let me help her." Axelia told the five people there, of course except for the lightning girl.

Jack was the one who lifted his foot the most. For him, sukur even he can come back soon. The man directly walked back to his seat indifferently.

The second is Alice. He also returned to his seat without hesitation.

Just the first meeting, but Alex and Axelia have even guessed that the two people are typical apathetic but also the smartest on the team later.

Not bothering that anymore, Axelia turned her head back to the girl in front of her. "Your feet hurt? Can you walk? If you can't, let me help you, but can you turn off that lightning in your hand first?" ask Axelia softly.

The girl looked at Axelia with an innocent look, then shook her head slowly. "I don't know how to turn this off." he said, looking at his hands. Then the girl turned back to Axelia with that innocent look. Plain mixed confused.

Axelia felt like something was piercing her heart all of a sudden. It was as if his heart had been filled with the priesthood of the girl he did not even know her name.

'If it's close, I'll adopt her as a sister!' axelia said in her heart.

"Ahh so huh? Well then... uhmm. How do I wake you up, huh?" Alice rubbed her chin confused. If the girl can't get up on her own, and she doesn't understand how to get the lightning out of her hands, then what should she do now?

Zen let out a tired breath. "I told you, just get the spirit out"

"No need!" Alex finally made a sound. "Later he can not join the meeting and know the important information, so I better just carry it." said Alex (just reasoned).

"Don't you get electrocuted. Then I better get her spirit out" Axelia said disapprovingly. But instead of doing what he said just now, he grabbed onto both of the lightning girl's shoulders, then tried to wake her up by shrugging her shoulders.

Could turn.

'This girl is light.' Axelia thought to herself.

As soon as the two girls legs had retraced properly on the marble floor, Axelia took off her shoulders slowly, then her hands moved to the girl's arms, helping her walk.

As Alex reached out her hand to help hold the girl's arm, Axelia brushed Alex's hand away. "See if you hold on!" Axelia glares. "Later he cried again!"

Alex immediately abandoned his intentions. "Okay. okay.."

One more step they would enter through the doorway (as well as the glass fragments scattered on the floor), Alex opened his voice again. "What's your name?" ask him to the lightning girl.

"Hera." replied the girl quietly.

Alex nodded in understanding. "Your long name is that?"

The girl hesitated.

"My name ishera Harlyn."

Axelia stopped her steps. He's stunned. "Harlyn?"
