Calling Mama

Today is the 2nd day of Gao and IDX in their old house. After breakfast, Ahn prepares to go to the office.

"Gao, are you interested in seeing the company Ahn runs? Mr. Zhang came with a cup of tea.

Gao was just silent, he preferred to pay attention to his phone.

"No, Brother Gao is not interested." IDX replied because Gao was reluctant to speak.

"Are you sure? Go for a while and help Ahn at work, a few more weeks will be a big leave. While Ahn's work is still a lot, Gao you understand about stocks, projects and investments right? Mr. Zhang walked over to Gao who was staring at the screen of his phone.

"No, I don't work in an office." Gao flatly replied.

"Well, where do you work?"

"Sister works at the world's largest arms company, he's the owner. So you do not be surprised if on the side of the sister there are always people with special abilities as subordinates." BEI praised her brother in front of Ahn, and Mr. Zhang.

"ID, then what about you? Mr. Zhang looked at the BEI who was eating fruit on the same chair as Gao.

"Me, I work at the national health agency. It's my job to develop chemical treatments and help medical personnel. Especially for me I'm in charge of drug development and anesthesia. His income almost equaled the salary of his first brother who was the boss now whereas I was the new subordinate."

"Oh, that means you have chosen your own path, Gao no wonder you took a weapon as your business. You're very good at that. And BEI you're so smart I won't doubt you anymore." Mr. Zhang is happy that his children have succeeded.

Alexsa arrives to bring Ahn lunch.

"Mr Ahn, you forgot to bring lunch." Alexsa runs a little and brings Ahn lunch.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Thank you dear." Ahn accidentally kissed Alexsa's forehead and they all saw it.

"Go, it's late." Alexsa looks shy and smiles cheerfully at Ahn.

Gao looked at the incident earlier, like there was anger in him. 'How can the woman I survived with my money, I save her with my life and she belongs to someone else. Sooner or later I'll take it back.'

BEI understood Gao's gaze on Alexsa, but he could do nothing else.

Gao went from there, he went up to his room and locked himself in the room.

"Until when I'm gonna be here, there's nothing I can hope for. Am I really the son of this family? Why do I feel like a stranger." Gao was furious and slammed his phone into the bed.

IDX is still in the living room with Mr. Zhang. IDX looks more adaptable but it's all just a lie he did this according to Gao's will.

Alexsa sees the boy and the father just shut up, suddenly coming down the stairs.

"Yura, can you help me find some clothes. Kai doesn't know what to wear." Kai came and ran straight towards Alexsa.

BEI saw the child was very spoiled on Alexsa, Alexsa and kai hair color is the same especially with eyes that look like Ahn's eyes make IDX feel uncomfortable to see the child.

"Hey, she's your mother, right? Why call her name why not call mom or mom? BEI stared at kai sharply.

"Why? Don't you, Alexsa's not mad then why is uncle angry."

"You're a real bad boy, disrespecting your mother huh. What if your mother leaves?"

"Alexsa's gone? Where is Alexsa going? Can kai come?" Kai immediately pulled Alexsa's sleeve.

"No, I'm not going anywhere. But don't call me by my name anymore, call me mama."

Everyone was immediately surprised to hear the words kai, apparently this child still considers that Helen is his mother.

"I.iya, but Alexsa is also your mother now. So call mama yeah," Alexsa rubbed kai's head.

"Mama Alexsa sounds really weird." Kai looks angry and throws his face away from Alexsa.

"Kai, enough. Don't fight, Alexsa is your mama. And you have to call her mama, otherwise you have to stay with Gao do you want to? Mr. Zhang said so because you are afraid of Gao.

Kai still looks sulky but he is very obedient to his grandfather, "just please help me find clothes." Kai looked annoyed and went straight to his room again.

"The boy's attitude is very annoying, always against his parents. Alexsa can make me some toast and take it to my room. I want to relax in the room and also add my tea to this." Mr. Zhang smiled and put down his teacup and went up the stairs.

"Good dad." Alexsa rushed to the kitchen.

A few minutes later, Gao's phone rang. He was reading a book in his room.

"Hello?"

"Gao, it's me Ahn. Can you please bring me the yellow map in dad's room? That's Ahn's voice.

"No, I'm busy." Gao immediately wanted to turn off the call.

"Wait, Gao is important. Please ask Dad, I really need him now and you have to get him here as fast as you can." Ahn sounded desperate.

"Why, it's none of my business. If you want to tell the others."

"Gao, please. It was a project that was put together 5 months ago, it was a family business. Please deliver quickly."

"Haaah. okay. You're a pain." Gao instantly turned off the call and walked into Mr. Zhang's room.

When he reached his father's room, Gao hesitated to knock. But just about to knock, Mr. Zhang appeared beside her.

"What's Gao?"

Gao felt alert and immediately moved away.

"I..Ahn told me to deliver the yellow map to your room." Gao was a little awkward while talking to Mr. Zhang.

"Oh, I know. Just a minute." Mr. Zhang opened the door and looked for the requested map.

Gao saw his father's room was still the same as it used to be, some antique decorations and a large wooden cabinet.

"Here, you deliver quickly."

Gao received the yellow map and went straight down the stairs. When he reached the bottom floor, BEI saw Gao rush out of the house. BEI immediately followed Gao outside.

"Sir, what's wrong?" BEI noticed Gao was about to enter the car.

"The boy left his map, he told me to bring it to him. Do you want to come with me?"

"Ah, no. I'd rather relax here." The IDX went back inside the house and Gao went straight to Ahn's office.
