The Untold Story of Tiberias

The Untold Story of Tiberias
Pisqu

Nick started down the dry Philias River. The journey was very quiet and dark. He jumped over the large rocks at the bottom of the river and darted rapidly towards the river where the spring should be. It was impossible for the spring to be dry for no reason. There must be something blocking him.

After some time down the dry river, Nick's journey began to climb up the steep hill. There was still no sign of a spring there, instead Nick justu found a giant, fat worm monster lying at the bottom of the river. The silver-haired young man stopped.

Now he found the cause of the spring was clogged. Apparently a fat monster lives there. Nick intends to immediately kill the slacker worm monster with Turpin, his sword. But then he realized that the cause of the disease outbreak in the village might come from the monster.

It looks like the beginning before the outbreak, this worm is smaller in stature and lives in the springs where the river flows. The polluted river water was drunk by the villagers unknowingly until finally the giant monster grew big and clogged the flow completely.

If Nick recklessly kills him right in the spring, then it could be that the entire stream of water will be contaminated by toxins in the worm's mucus. Nick should be able to make these worms move away from the springs.

Nick tries to make small attacks so that the monster is disturbed and moved. But the lazy worm just squirms slowly without moving from its position. The monster's body was slippery as it was filled with foul-smelling poisonous mucus. Nick also could not stab him too deep because if he was not careful, the blood of monsters that were also poisonous could be splashed about him.

The young man thought hard, racking his brain to attract the worm monster. Nick had an idea. The main predator of the worm monster was Pisqu, a six-eyed giant bird monster with four black wings. If Nick can lure Pisqu in, the monster will naturally prey on this fat worm for its food.

So, Nick immediately darted into the forest to look for Pisqu nests that are usually on the tops of high hills. The spring itself was on the highest hill. Around there must be one Pisqu nest that Nick can use.

The young man jumped over the hilltops easily. After wandering around for some time, the monster he was looking for was found. A giant Pisqu nest is seen at the top of a high hill. A giant black-winged bird crouching on a cage from a pile of wooden trunks woven together.

Pisqu is a grumpy monster. He does not like to have his nest disturbed. Because it was easy to attract the attention of the ten-eyed giant bird. Nick attacks him with Turpin and the bird wakes up.

Nick's great sword managed to injure the bird's wing. But that small wound alone was not enough to weaken him. Because Pisqu flew away while roaring furiously. He then swoops down at Nick and intends to eliminate the insect-like young man in the eyes of the monster.

So far Nick has managed to escape safely. The spring was already visible before the eyes when suddenly, the giant bird decided to change its attack strategy. The Pisqu swooped down with his beak, and tried to pounce on Nick who was running. The alert Nick unintentionally stared at the ten Pisqu eyes and froze his body.

The ten eyes of Pisqu had the magic effect of freezing his opponent. Nick should have avoided eye contact in order not to be exposed to the effects of his magic. But the rice has become porridge. Nick's body couldn't be moved, and just stopped. The Pisqu was already so close to him. Nick might not survive.

Even so, Nick has trained hard to deal with life and death situations. With all his might, he forced his body to fall rolling into the abyss next to him. Just when Pisqu's beak was already a few inches away from his body, Nick managed to plop down with a stiff body. Unfortunately, his left shoulder was torn because it was hit by the beak of the giant bird.

While breathing the pain, Nick felt his body continue to roll up to hit the trees that grow on the slopes of the ravine. It took a while until Nick finally managed to escape from the freezing magic. The young man landed at the bottom of the ravine with a loud crackling. It looks like some of his bones are broken.

But Nick doesn't care about the pain. He got up and immediately continued his mission. The black-winged bird was still flying around in circles as it roared furiously. The bird searches for Nick from above the sky, trying to make sure that the bug is completely gone.

Nick tries to climb the hill and makes sure Pisqu sees a giant worm in the spring. But it looks like luck is finally on Nick's side. The bird apparently decided that Nick was dead. That's why he's no longer looking for her. Instead, the attention of the bird was pounded on a fat worm monster wriggling uneasily in the spring. The worm monster realizes the arrival of its predator and begins to try to hide.

But his effort was too late. From a height, Pisqu has seen tantalizing prey. Instinctively, the bird immediately grabbed the fat worm as his dinner. The worm monster tried to escape by wriggling loudly. But Pisqu's grip is much stronger. Pisqu quickly took the giant worm back to its nest.

Nick stood on top of the hill watching everything go on. He stared at the departure of the bird that soared high that it was no longer visible. On the other hand, the spring where the giant worm was soaking ended up no longer clogged. The water is like a flash flood, filling the entire river flow downstream. All the remaining toxins from the worm monster were washed away thanks to the strong discharge of flowing water.

Nick breathed a sigh of relief. His body collapsed sitting on top of the hilltop land. Now, after the mission was completed, then the pain throughout his body felt piercing. His left shoulder was torn with a deep gaping wound. Blood flowed profusely to wet his entire armor that had already broken. His right leg was broken and bent in an unnatural direction. While the entire surface of his skin was scuffed by being slashed by tree branches when he fell to the bottom of the ravine.

Even so, Nick was quite satisfied. Those minor injuries were nothing short of a sacrifice compared to the safety of the villagers. The first humans he had met after all these years he lived with dragons.
