Nick came out just in time. As soon as he stepped his foot through the front door of the dragon cave, that huge energy-carrying figure had already arrived before him. A giant, hairy creature full of vengeance. The fox demon that Nick fought yesterday.
“I didn't think you'd come to visit. Do you miss me, Fox?” ask Nick lightly.
The fox looked at Nick with a cruel look. “I did come here to look for you. We still have unfinished business,” hisses angry.
“I'm moved. You even dare to go to the dragon cave with your own feet, accompanied by a dense killing intent. Do you intend to challenge the dragon as well?” ask Nick to provoke.
“I have no business with that holy creature. Dragon is wise enough to know the problem that we both have to solve without the need to interfere,” said the fox undaunted.
Nick snorts. As expected for the size of a fox hundreds of years old. The creature quite understand how the nature of the dragons.
“I'm the last dragon son to live here. You still dare to challenge me?” lure Nick once again.
“You challenged me first, Man,” growled the fox. “This is a fair fight,”.
Nick grumbled softly as he chuckled. “Your famous kaum. Could you talk about justice.”
The fox growled furiously. “I'm gathering seeds of energy to become a holy being. But you screwed up by making me angry. Take responsibility and don't talk too much! I will fight you until one of us dies,” threatened the fox is already really angry.
“Good, good. In that case, I will not hesitate anymore,” said Nick as he pulled Turpin, his mighty great sword.
Wide grin on Nick's face. Of course he would not miss this great fight in vain. Today, the fox himself offered his life to Nick. The young man should accept it with joy.
With a quick movement, the fox pounced on Nick without hesitation. Nick jumped dodging while maneuvering the attack with his sword. The fox demon swerved nimbly to dodge. The wind element makes it able to move very fast, almost invisible. Even so, Nick can still compensate.
“You're a little faster than before, Fox,” Nick said after noticing his opponent's moves.
“Of course. I've preyed on dozens of monster hearts before coming here. There is no way I came without preparation,” said the fierce fox.
“Doesn't that mean you're ruining your own cultivation? You mustn't kill if you want to be a holy creature,” commented Nick in response. The two continued to fight while conversing.
Nick deflected the fox's wind claw with his sword. He then uses his flagship element, fire, to coat the Turpin so that his trade attack will produce greater damage.
“You alone decided to fall in revenge, Fox. I'm just challenging you to fight not to insult you,” said Nick Sharp.
The fight was fought more fiercely. The two then moved away from the side of the cave and began to enter the forest. Trees uprooted, land destroyed by explosions. That fierce battle had damaged the area of forest they passed through. Nick was beginning to get overwhelmed, due to the fact that the fox had indeed become stronger after absorbing the monster energy again by eating their heart.
Even so, Nick also had a little sympathy for the fox demon. Though the creature had been cultivating for hundreds of years to obtain holy power. But the fox fell back into the mud of darkness. All his efforts over the years were rendered useless by a single mistake that left him drowning in darkness. The attitude of the fox made Nick learn not to be easily influenced by emotions, both negative and positive emotions. Both can lead sentient beings into the abyss of darkness if they are not careful.
Because of that pity, Nick finally intends to immediately end the battle before the fox becomes increasingly immersed in anger. The young man released more fire energy until it encompassed his body within a half-meter radius. He then quickly attacked the fox monster, before the creature could dodge. Utilizing the fox's wind scratches, Nick made his fire attack spread even bigger and finally managed to burn the fox's feathers.
The monster roared loudly. The fire that Nick had struck with his sword could not be extinguished before the young man commanded. That's why the fox demon had lost immediately once Nick's fire hit his body.
“Fucking human basis! I won't forgive you even if I die! I'll kill you!” the roar of the fox started burning all over his body.
Nick looked at his opponent sadly. Seeing the tortured fox and getting angry, it makes Nick feel more compassion. In a way, he was the one who had made the monster become like that. The fox has never disturbed other creatures and has held back for hundreds of years. Did he die at Nick's hands?
“Hey, Fox! I'll make you an offer. I will help you to restore that lost cultivation period, by distributing the holy energy I obtained from the dragon. But in exchange, you have to establish a spirit contract with me for ten years only,” Nick said later.
It's not an empty offer. Ten years to replace the hundreds of years that have been lost is very light. Even so, the fox was not easily persuaded, especially when his entire fur was on fire and he was in pain and angry as well.
“How can I trust you, crafty Man?!” sergeant the fox.
“I'm responsible for my words. You can trust my promise. But if you are not enough, we can make a blood agreement to be included in our contract,” Nick said as he raised his left hand, ordered that the fire that burned the fox's body be extinguished slowly.
The fox curled up weakly with his whole body smoky and wounded. He looked at Nick sharply and still implied anger. Even so, it seemed like Nick's offer to give the dragon holy energy was quite attractive to him.
“Bliss. That's my name,” said the fox monster then shrunk into its small form.
Nick smiled. Telling the fox's real name is tantamount to agreeing to a spirit contract offer with Nick. Unexpectedly, the young man had actually obtained a powerful wind spirit that was perfectly matched to his fire ability. With the help of the fox, then its power can be doubled.
