Nick no longer stepped forward. He stood firmly where he was, looking at Queen Celestia with a gentle smile. The queen smiled with satisfaction. He wiped his tears, then pulled out a large red-colored jewel from behind the cave wall.
“Good son. You passed this test well. Accept your gift,” said the figure of the Queen of Celestia while holding out a red dragon jewel.
Nick realized the peculiarity. Her biological mother never called her ‘anakku’. Queen Celestia always calls it ‘my son’.
“Mother ... Calada?” ask Nick to make sure.
The figure of Queen Celestia seemed to smile happily. His form then dissolved and slowly transformed into the human body Calada.
“You are very observant, Nick,” praise Calada later. “Congratulations, you made it through the three obstacles I have given you. This is my gem. You can absorb the magic energy after coming out of this dimension,” continued the dragon satisfied.
Nick finally receives the dragon jewel. Although the size is large, but apparently very light when carried. There was a tingling warm sensation when his hand touched the jewel.
“Thank you, Mom. On this jewel. Also because it has shown the face of my biological mother,” Nick later said.
Calada smiled knot. “It was part of your exam. As expected, you do have an unshakable determination,” he said.
Nick smiled as he rubbed the traces of tears that had shone on his cheeks. “The mother who educated me became like this. I owe a lot to mom,” replied the young man.
“Pay those debts by being a good king. Peace your people and remove the darkness that is in their midst. Be a light to those who trust you,” Calada's message later.
Nick nodded in understanding. After a short conversation, Nick was asked to walk out of the cave. Once again the view swayed. Now Nick is covered in darkness and his body turns limp. The next second, Nick lost consciousness.
“He will be fine,” other voice said. Neil.
“But it's been three days Nick's been like this. His mother also did not say anything and just told us to wait,” whined Aerin with a voice that sounded anxious.
“Then we wait,” replied Neil, who though tried to remain calm, but his voice implied doubt.
Nick finally opened his eyes. His eyelids were heavy and painful. He needed to prick several times until finally getting used to the dim light of the fireplace.
“Nick! You're sober!” seerang Aerin jubilant. Without further ado, the elf girl immediately rushed into Nick's embrace. “I've exerted all my healing magic energy but you're not aware either,” lamented sadly.
“I'm fine now, Aerin,” replied Nick in a raucous voice. He tried to pat Aerin on the back, but his body was still weak lack of energy. In the end Nick only managed to pat Aerin's arm.
“That's because Nick just picked up the Dragon gem. Ordinary people and without your healing magic, it might take a month to wake up after entering the dragon soul dimension,”, Neil responded to Aerin's whining.
“Why didn't you say you wanted to take the dragon jewel,” said Aerin who now started sobbing and crying.
“Already, already. Let him rest. You make it even more uncomfortable,” Neil said as he pulled Aerin to release his embrace from Nick. “By the way I'm glad you finally came to your senses. Welcome back, Nick,” he told Nick.
Nick smiled. “Thank you friends,” he said sincerely.
