The Untold Story of Tiberias

The Untold Story of Tiberias
Dragon Rescue

There were at least four orcs carrying Queen Celestia and her son to the distant plains. They used black magic to open a magic portal from the royal palace of Tiberias to a very hot arid plain. The four orcs just threw the queen down and hugged her son Nicodemus. After that the four of them re-entered the portal to the palace and disappeared just like that.

Queen Celestia who had been holding back her tears for the sake of maintaining dignity, ended up crying. He hugged Nicodemus without a sound. But the crown prince who had just been silent watching also exploded his cry.

“Sstt .. my son. Its alright. Don't cry,” whispered the queen as she held little Nicodemus. The sound of the child's cry could provoke the arrival of a savage monster.

Queen Celestia stood up and tried to find shelter. They also arrived at a shallow cave on the edge of the forest. It was there that Queen Celestia began to care for her son with great pain.

Days pass. The queen persisted by eating the fruits she picked in the forest and drinking water from a river that flowed not far from it. The threat of monsters kept him constantly on guard. Every night he had to hide with trembling due to the sound of the monstrous roars of monsters, or the footsteps of ferocious beasts. Not infrequently the queen and her son were almost killed by crossing a wild monster. But miraculously they survived.

Unfortunately, that miserable condition gradually sucked the life spirit of Queen Celestia. He's getting thinner and unkempt. Desperation wracks the queen and though she knows that she must endure for the sake of her son, fate cannot be resisted.

Just two months after being banished in the distant plains, the Queen of Celestia fell ill. The little Nicodemus became fussy from hunger and loneliness. The queen kept trying to find food with the remnants of her energy. But that day, he could not really get up from where he lay.

The queen cried as she stroked her son's cheek which was also filled with tears. The little Nicodemus has turned thin and ugly. The love of the queen never decreases. With pain the queen wiped away the tears of her son.

“My son, Nicodemus. I'm sorry your mother couldn't protect you. I love you so much, son. But ... mom may not be able to take care of you anymore … . Please ... anyone .. protect my son,” isak the queen is weak. Her tears continued to grow, realizing that the time was not long.

The queen coughed and fresh blood came out of her mouth. The little Nicodemus who did not understand his mother's condition just continued to cry and cry until provoking the arrival of the monsters. In the last seconds of her life, the queen could only hug her son and die from the strange illness she suffered.

Nicodemus cried all night in the cave. Various monsters approached the cave and began to smell the smell of blood. They flocked in to try to prey on the two humans who were there. But because of the many monsters that approached, they actually fought each other because they scrambled into the cave.

Nicodemus trembled in fear in the arms of his dead mother. The little boy was hurting how the monsters were killing each other out there. There's nothing he can do. The stench of blood and the growls and roars of the monsters dyed the night.

Suddenly, a powerful flap of wings sounded approaching, followed by a burst of fire breathing from the sky. The monsters fighting at the mouth of the cave suddenly stopped their fight and realized that there was a more dangerous threat. Those who had survived fled into the cave, while the rest had been burned by the flames.

Shortly after, a twelve-meter-tall giant dragon landed at the mouth of the cave. His large head looked inside and found a little boy trembling in fear in the arms of a woman's body. The dragon also changed its form into a dark-haired female human. His skin was as white as pearls with gleaming golden eyeballs.

Carefully the dragon that was as human as it entered the cave. His black hair that was along his back was gently scattered and glistened with the moonlight. Nicodemus had stopped crying. He just curled up trembling in the arms of his mother's already stiff body.

“Why is there a human child here?” muttered the dragon.

But his cultivation was piqued by the monster energy gathering at one point. As he tries to see what is happening, he finds a human child and his dead mother.

“Do you want me to take you to the nearest human village?” the dragon asked as he extended his hand.

Nicodemus trembled ever more intensely. His fear had reached the limit of tolerance. When the dragon tried to touch his body, Nicodemus fell unconscious.

The sound of a burning woodcracker awakens Nicodemus. He felt his body so warm and comfortable. Nicodemus opened his eyes and blinked several times. He saw her in a dimly lit stone-walled room. He was lying on a bed with a soft soft mattress, but smelled a little mushroom. Luckily the delicious aroma of broth makes the smell of the mattress not too disturbing. Nicodemus, aroused by the pleasant smell, awoke from his sleep.

“That's a goose fur mattress. I have not worn it for a long time because I rarely wear it. So perhaps a slight musty smell,” the voice of a woman was heard on the side of the room, making Nicodemus jump in shock.

He found a beautiful black-haired woman with golden eyes carrying a bowl of soup for him. Nicodemus returned in fear.

“Do not be afraid. Aren't you hungry? I may not have cooked for a long time. But my food is still worth eating. This is try first,” said the woman while sitting next to Nicodemus.

The little boy remained cowering in fear while hiding behind a blanket. The dragon woman patiently rubbed the trembling head of Nicodemus. The smell of the broth grew stronger and made Nicodemus' stomach sound hungry. The dragon snorted short and then got up from the bed.

“Good. I'll put the food on the table. You can eat after I leave,” said the dragon then prepared to leave.

However, Nicodemus' small hand gripped the tip of the dragon's blue dress. He turned around and saw Nicodemus peeking out from under the covers.

“Do you want me to steam?” the dragon was friendly. Nicodemus nodded slowly.

The dragon smiled and sat down next to Nicodemus. “My name is Calada. What's your name?” ask the dragon later.

“Ni .. Nick,” Nicodemus said with adorable cedal voice.

From then on, Calada raised Nick as his own son.
