Nick accepts the fox monster's challenge. They also returned to duel fiercely. However, their elemental powers were naturally very compatible. The situation was especially beneficial for Nick. Once again, their fight is again won by the young man.The wind fox is forced to bite his finger because Nick can always cleverly utilize his powers to strengthen Turpin's fire sword.
“We end here. As promised, I won't kill you. Thank you for the fun duel, Fox,”, Nick said after a moving day of the night.
The fox, who was now severely wounded but not dead, growled with annoyance at being repeatedly defeated by a human. The incision wounds filled his body, and his beige fur was already half burnt. It left a scorched scent that hung densely in the air.
“Basic monster. What is your purpose in challenging me but not killing me? You playing me?” the fox was angry.
Nick laughed out loud. The young man was not entirely okay. His body was also injured by the claw and wind knife attack from the fox. However, compared to the condition of the fox monster, Nick's state was clearly much better.
“I take that as a compliment,” said Nick, referring to the fox serapah who calls it a monster. “As I said before, I just want to try my new powers. So there is no need to be too sentimental,” replied Nick as he flicked his sword to clean the traces of blood attached.
“I'm leaving now. With your healing abilities, the wounds you received today will heal tomorrow morning. I didn't attack your vital point at all. So rest well, Fox,” continued the young man preparing to leave.
“Cannot be left!” suddenly the fox. “My cultivation for hundreds of years was played by a man whose life was not half my age. I will repay you. You ... come here tomorrow morning. We will fight once again,” growled the fox with burning emotions.
“Good. See you tomorrow then.” Nick replied while waving. The young man then jumped to approach Neil who was waiting behind a tree.
“I know you're amazing, Nick. But called a monster by a monster? That's a rare achievement,” praise Neil while chuckling.
Nick just smiled. “Come home for dinner. I'm starving.”
“Aerin must have scolded us,” complained Neil later.
The two men darted away through the forest and returned to the dragon cave quickly. As Neil had guessed, Aerin was furious when he saw them coming. Nick's scarred body was hastily healed by the elf girl, while being accompanied by a long scolding that seemed like it was never going to end.
Nick and Neil steadfastly received Aerin's reps throughout the dinner. Calada made no comment and only smiled amusedly at the interaction of the three humans in his residence. It felt like for a long time he had not experienced such a pleasant crowd in his cave. Even so, Calada tries not to get too emotionally attached to them. Sooner or later, they will also part ways in time. Calada enjoyed this moment quite a bit. Until later he must leave this world and unite with the souls of other dragons.
