The Untold Story of Tiberias
The Fall of Tiberias
In an era when humans and all kinds of magical beings coexisted in peace, it was a prosperous kingdom called Tiberias. The kingdom of Tiberias was one of the five great kingdoms that lived in the world at that time. The kingdom of Tiberias was ruled by King Tiberias I and has now reached his fourth descendant, Tiberias IV.
The five great nations of the time included the kingdom of the elves called Edelor, the kingdom of the dwarves named Karaz-Ankor, the human kingdom of Tiberias, the kingdom of the strongest dragon named Freljord, and lastly the nation of the outcasts who live in darkness, the kingdom of the orc Bhigvoz. The other four nations besides the orcs lived in peace and harmony.
The reigning King Tiberias IV had a son by Queen Celestia named Nicodemus Tiberias, the crown prince so beloved by his parents. The birth of Nicodemus was blessed by the elves. The dwarves even gifted a legendary sword forged with rare mithril. Praise be to color the birth of the crown prince.
Unfortunately, this happiness did not last long. The entire palace was celebrating Prince Nicodemus' second birthday in the palace hall of Tiberias. The entire royal family, nobles, even magic creatures like elves, driads, dwarves and centaurs partied together celebrating the prince's birthday. Everything is drunk with excess happiness. Since the peaceful atmosphere in the kingdom had been going on for many years, not a single creature was alert or suspicious of the day's calamity.
Suddenly, unexpectedly by anyone, hundreds of orcs attacked the palace. Panic spread throughout the palace. Wars break out unavoidably. Dozens of people were injured and more were killed. The palace was soon overrun by the enemy. King Tiberias IV drew his sword and destroyed dozens of orcs. But the herd continued to grow as if it had no end. Until finally a man appeared among the raging orcs. The man was wearing a luxurious royal robe, but without a crown. With an evil grin he drew his sword on King Tiberias IV.
“Tadeus .. ,” was furious that the king realized that the mastermind behind the attack was his own sister.
“Halo, sister. Sorry I came to bring a scene on your son's birthday,” said Tadeus.
“Why are you doing this, Tadeus. What was my mistake with you?”
“Everything is in place, Brother. The first son inherits the throne, and the second son only as a meaningless figure. It looks perfect from your point of view, doesn't it? But not for me. Why should I give up on you just because you were born first?” sergeant Thaddeus and his cruel face. A flash of hatred emanated strongly from both of his eyes.
“You .. not this kind of person. That dark creature has affected you. Awake, Tadeus. You should not destroy this kingdom with your dark heart,” urged King Tiberias with a blood-soaked body of his enemies.
Thaddeus laughed loudly at his brother's advice. “Omong empty. I'm sick of being in your shadows, brother. It's time for me to shine. I am not darkness, I am the light for this kingdom.”
“You … . I have to stop you.” King Tiberias swung his sword against his brother.
Thaddeus endured his brother's attacks easily. Their swords clashed in the air and gave rise to powerful energy collisions. Both of them survived without faltering in the slightest.
“Just calm down, I will not destroy this kingdom. Instead I will make it stronger,” muttered Tadeus while grinning savagely.
“You learned forbidden black magic. Tadeus, be aware before it's too late. Your soul can be swallowed up by that darkness,” the pinta of King Tiberias for the last time.
Thaddeus did not listen to his brother at all and again launched his attack on the king. Tiberias held off Thaddeus' sword. The sound of iron clashing rang out in that battleground. Thaddeus' eyes had already turned jet-black as he exerted all his dark power to kill the elder brother. Tiberias kept trying to hold on as long as possible. However, Tadeus' ability to use forbidden magic is so powerful.
“Some day, you will regret what you did, Tadeus. I will wait for you in the world there,” the sigh of King Tiberias full of grief.
Finally the black aura of Thaddeus began to surround the body of the king. Slowly but surely, the king's body began to burn with that black energy and turned into fragments. Unsatisfied to see his brother suffering from the black aura, Thaddeus continued to push his sword until he finally managed to slash the chest of King Tiberias. The king's body collapsed along with the collapse of the kingdom of Tiberias the Great.
Tadeus roared loudly celebrating his victory. The palace was already within his grasp and the king had died in his hands. All the herds of orcs under the command of Thaddeus also cried out to celebrate the fall of the human race. Meanwhile, the remains of a vassal of King Tiberias IV who knew his leader had fallen, chose to flee and save the rest of the surviving royal family, Queen Celestia and Crown Prince Nicodemus.
Unfortunately, Thaddeus realized the escape attempt and immediately confronted the entourage escorting the queen and the crown prince.
“Betapa. You're trying to save yourself after your king dies? Where is your loyalty,” Sergah Tadeus stood tall before the Queen who carried her son.
“You rotten creature, Thaddeus! You killed your own brother and now you intend to eliminate your nephew? “ said Queen Celestia bravely.
Thaddeus' laughter exploded again, laughing at the weak creature before him. Not even the queen's protective knights dared to attack her first. The dark aura shrouding Thaddeus' body looked so intimidating and dangerous.
“Alright, I'll grant you your last request, Celestia. I will not kill you with my own hands. I am satisfied enough to kill your husband today.In exchange, my men will take you to where you should be,” Tadeus grumbled with a cunning tone.
The man then called a nearby orc to capture the queen's entourage. The queen's protective knights tried to resist but they were all brutally killed by the orcs who were already strengthened with dark power.
“Download this former queen and her son to the far flats. Let them scavenge for life in the midst of monsters. This is the last kindness of my heart to you,” Tadeus commands to the orcs who follow him.
The orcs obeyed Thaddeus' orders and dragged the Queen of Celestia and the son in her arms away to the distant plains filled with cruel monsters. The queen looked at Thaddeus very sharply and full of anger. Both of his eyes were reddened from holding back tears. The pain and anger were mixed in the queen's heart. But he had to endure for his son.
