The Untold Story of Tiberias
Juxtaposing Strength

As Neil said, Aerin improved quickly. Aside from being a healing elf, it was also because her body was just plain exhausted after keeping Nick for days. In line with Aerin's recovery, Nick also recovered faster. The young man was able to stand up and move as usual two days after he regained consciousness.

Nick is the first human to recover in less than a month after absorbing the power of a dragon gem. Other humans in general take up to months until the entire power of the gem can fuse perfectly with their bodies and souls. However, Nick only took ten days.

Of course Aerin's healing magic also contributed to the adaptation process. However, the biggest reason is because Nick himself already has a fairly strong and stable energy core. Now, after getting the Calada gem, Nick feels the power becomes greater. The young man began to try to train after his body had fully recovered.

“You really have to practice right now? Rest a few more days until it really improves,” advice Neil who follows Nick out of the cave.

Aerin is off to find a medicinal plant with Calada. I don't know why the two of them have become more familiar lately.

“There's nothing to worry about Neil. I've never felt more alive than this,” Nick said excitedly. After putting his sword on his shoulder, Nick turned to Neil. “You coming?” invite him while smiling knot.

Neil snorted short, then smiled back. “Good. I'd rather watch you than something out there,”.

Nick laughs. “Who should keep an eye on who, Neil,”.

The next second the two men had already darted quickly into the forest grove. They both accidentally search for monsters to try Nick's abilities after receiving power from a dragon jewel.

There were no sufficiently powerful monsters living near the dragon cave. Therefore, the two of them had to go further into the forest until Nick finally felt the powerful energy of a monster. Nick hasn't been through the woods so far. However, based on his memories, the monster living in this location was a nine-tailed wind fox. A suitable element to try out his new abilities.

The breeze carries a soft and warm aroma of amber. Right in the middle of the meadow, a nine meter tall giant fox monster coiled comfortably with its tails moving in the direction of the wind.

Nick and Neil stopped their tracks and watched from the trees on the edge of the meadow.

“You seriously want to fight it?” neil asked, watching the soft, beige-haired monster.

“He's a suitable opponent for my new strength,” Nick replied later.

“But ... he looks very strong,” says Neil hesitates.

Nick grinned thinly, then dedicated to his partner. “Please wait here and see. Actually I don't like to attack other creatures that don't bother. So this isn't a life-and-death fight, Neil. This is just an ordinary duel to try out strength,” said the young man.

Neil took a deep breath. “As far as you are. If anything, I'll help you.”

Nick just nodded at a glance then jumped down from the tree and was ready to face the giant wind fox monster.
