Unexpectedly, the affair with Bliss, the fox demon, actually became very profitable, especially for Nick. Even Aerin can not oppose Nick's decision to contract with the spirit of the fox. The elf girl knew that the decision would benefit Nick and his plans for the future.
Now they have all been united by the same goal: overthrow the government of Thaddeus and make Nick King of Tiberias again. Five days later, after quite thoroughly discussing the strategy, and Bliss had also recovered from his injuries, Nick's entourage finally decided to leave the dragon cave. They were intending to visit the elven kingdom to ask for help. Guided by Aerin, the group set off at dawn on the fifth day.
Calada let go of the children calmly. The dragon decided not to interfere in their adventure, and waited in the monster forest until the moment where his help was needed.
Nick's party quickly headed west. They stayed away from the monster forest, but not through the path inhabited by humans. Instead they went down the misty mountains that became the outer borders of the kingdom of Tiberias. Neither Nick nor Neil had ever ventured that far. Even so, thanks to Aerin guides their journey can be passed without significant obstacles.
“We will enter the territory of the magic forest. Once you get there, you have to be careful with the singing of the Driads. The forest fairy can sometimes mislead passers-by with their voices,” Aerin said after seven full days of travel.
“I feel elf magic. This is a hidden forest?” Bliss suddenly emerged from empty air.
Since signing with Nick, Bliss no longer needs to show his form physically in the reality of the mortal world. He was again able to cultivate in the spirit realm that was connected to the dragon power within Nick's body. The young man could summon Bliss at any time, and vice versa, the fox demon could also appear as he pleased, in various forms as needed. Right now the fox was displaying her petite and adorable figure. He floated next to Nick with the power of the wind element.
“True. Now we are already standing in front of the magic gate towards the elf kingdom. No one can open this gate other than the pure descendant of our tribe,” Aerin brightly as she prepared in front of the forest lips.
After saying that, Aerin then raised one hand forward, as if he was touching something. From his lips, he muttered an ancient spell in the language of the elves. Suddenly, a streak of light green light emerged from Aerin's palm. The light then moved to form a kind of complicated and very large magic circle. Nick and Neil watched in silence. The process of opening the magic gate took several minutes until finally a large high door made of twigs of trees twisted tightly together into one.
“Let's go in,” take Aerin while pushing the thick and heavy-looking door leaf.
“This place is amazing. Really like a surge,” muttered Neil in amazement. His eyes were round and his mouth was wide open to him.
“Usually all the forests in this continent also store aspects of magic similar to elf forests. But ever since we were expelled from the human world, plus the dark magic that encircled your residences, the elven magic energy faded completely, the bright” Aerin led the way. The girl stepped in without difficulty because the obstructing vines, suddenly being able to get away by herself, as if giving way to their arrival.
“Why did you leave this comfortable place just to be the target of human abduction, Elf?” ask Bliss without further ado.
Aerin hissed annoyed at Bliss' disrespectful comments. “Not your business, Fox,” said the girl glanced cynically.
Bliss grating. “Basic Elf snob,” murmured slowly.
“Your words are outrageous, Bliss,” scold Nick firmly. The fox was finally silent.
After that little squabble, they could hear the sound of melodious singing from a distance. Nick instantly knew that it was a Driad chant told by Aerin earlier. The young man indeed sensed that there was magic energy flowing along with the tones of the driad's singing. That energy felt like drugging and hypnotizing. However, thanks to the dragon power stored in his body, Nick becomes less affected by the forest fairy's singing.
While Aerin was an elf who was at a higher level than the Driad. Therefore the magic of the forest elves had no effect on her at all. So is Bliss who is now in the form of spirit. But Neil is a normal human being. Throughout his life he very rarely came into contact with magic. So, without realizing his friends, it turns out that Neil has fallen in the persuasion of the Driads.
The knight's steps slowed down. His eyes turned blank. And when his friends were already a few meters in front of him, Neil slowly deflected directions. Not enough to get there, a thin fog began to surround the knight, obscuring him from the sight of Nick and Aerin. It was too late when Nick finally realized that one of his travel companions had disappeared.
