Ch. 72 - History of Eartdel Tale

A few days have passed since Arthur woke up from his long slumber from the wounds he received from the fight against Rever the sin of anger. Now they had all recovered even some of them were training under the guidance of the great knights of the Celestial kingdom.

The most serious with it all was Smits, he exercised even before his body recovered intact. A focused exercise increased the physical movements and strength of the attack could keep them from acting as rashly as they would when facing the Rever Block.

In a garden in the middle of the palace, an open garden directly exposed to the sunlight, Arthur sat contemplating what had happened to him.

It sits under a plant that spreads so that it forms a natural roof of green foliage that makes anyone feel comfortable while sitting underneath. The breeze added to the cold, it felt like it wanted to linger in that place.

Arthur sat down while thinking about what was bothering him, he had several times looking for answers from things that made him disturbed. The answer to what Rever told him about the truth of the holy knights.

The truth about the death of their predecessors and the truth about the great war that took place 15 years ago.

When he first came to his senses and met King William, the first thing Arthur asked him was this, but King William did not think it was the right time to tell them this. Although Arthur was adamant, King William also remained in his position and would inform them if they had fully recovered.

Had been impatient, but Arthur understood that and today his condition has improved, what's more since he learned meditation to Pege, the holy knight Tenebris with the Dark Empire. "Hufff." Arthur took a deep breath, he saw Pege still closing his eyes in front of him.

In the middle of their conversation, a woman accidentally approached. Seeing the woman, Arthur immediately reacted and said hello even though he did not know what the woman's name was. "Eee hi.. Hehe."

The woman stared at Arthur's seat, where she usually sat when she was free. The young lady was the disciple as well as the right hand of the Holy Witch who summoned the holy knights to this world.. Her name is Oana Lamiete.

"Ah no papa, I'll just go." Said turned.

"Wait.. There's something I want to ask." Arthur stood up from his seat.

"First of all, what's your name? Hehe." Arthur's face looked ridiculous, he asked a little awkwardly. How could he not know the disciple of the great magician who summoned him to this world.

Oana does like to sit where Arthur is currently, because it is free and wants to enjoy the atmosphere of the garden Oana finally sat near Arthur.

And that brief introduction got the two of them talking. What they talk about in this world.. The world they are in now and why they should be summoned to this world.

Although not so clear, but Oana explained a little about the world known as Eartdel Tale. Where at first, this world was a world where the land of Neverland and the land of Darksideland were not as separate as they are now.

The ones who ruled this world were the gods who lived on a highest mountain in the western part of the land. A mountain that no one has ever found.

At that time, all races lived under the rules and orders of the gods until something happened. One of the gods who felt in a foreign place and was expelled from the mountain where the gods lived was angry and did not accept.

He then awakens a powerful force from an ancient seal that was once a natural enemy of the gods. The seal held a dark force so powerful and so evil that it turned the god into a different figure.. The god was later dubbed as a defector and became another creature called the devil.

With that power, he continued to gather troops and also gather soldiers to attack the mountain where the gods had exiled him.

The troops he formed from various races then became his followers. It was the beginning of the existence of the demon clan.

And when the demon lord managed to gather his demon army and managed to make the monsters submit to him then that was when the holy war took place.. A war that became the end of this world, a war that lasted for hundreds of years even almost defeated the gods.

Until the door of the sky opened and raised the gods up into the sky. Along with that, a figure of light descended.. The light makes anyone who sees will close their eyes because the glare can hurt the eyes.

The figure then easily blew away the demon army that had almost taken control of the entire land. Not just one, but there were hundreds of glowing figures descending from the sky.

I don't know what they did but the luminous figure made this world divided 3 as it is today.

They all punished and sealed the demons and monsters and their followers into the underworld which was then called Darksideland. A dark land as well as a prison for the demons and their followers.

Thanks to that, this land which is hereinafter referred to as the land of Neverland became peaceful. The races returned to life as usual.

While the gods who were lifted into the sky by the luminous figures were never again seen on this land. It made the absence of rules and powers that ruled the entire race and land.

Because of that power vacuum, the peace of the land of Neverland did not last long. The inhabitants of the land of Neverland claimed each other's territory until there was a war between races and stood the kingdoms that we know today.

The war of power took place 1,000 years ago, leaving the misery and suffering until somehow the seal of the Darksideland land opens and the demon army again attacks the land of Neverland and makes the land dwellers of Neverland unite to save this land.

Reportedly, the demon power that attacked the Neverland land grew stronger than before to make the predecessors feel desperate. In the midst of despair, the door of the sky opened again after thousands of years of inaudible news even the inhabitants of the land of Neverland at that time no longer believed in gods.

The door of the sky opened along with the descent of a goddess named Marlin. Who then cast a spell to summon the strongest knight from another world who was next called a holy knight.. The knights who are believed to be liberating this land from the threat of the demon clan.

"And that knight is you." Oana said while training toward Arthur after he had long told the history of this world.

"I'm not sure either, I was just reading about this from an old opening I found inside the royal library." Oana Strictly.

"Is there one thing I want to ask you again? It was about the precursor of the holy knight and the great war 15 years ago?" Arthur was curious about it.

"I'm sorry but I don't really know about it. Maybe you should ask the king." Said Oana.

"Be good." Arthur was a little disappointed that he didn't get the answer he wanted.

"Oh yes.. You're Lux and she's Tenebris." Oana pointed at Pege who was still silently fused to close her eyes.

"The two of you are light and darkness, the essence of the elements in this world." Said Oana.

"What does that mean?" Arthur's confused.

"I'm not sure either but.. You two may have a role in the future. Ah.. I remember, the brighter the light, the darker the shadow." After saying that Oana stood up from her seat.

"I'm sorry I don't understand." Arthur is really confused right now.

But Oana who saw the confused expression left Arthur with a smile.

"What does.. It's so weird that woman." Her speech.

Pege opened his eyes, he saw Arthur.

"Pege.. Do you know what that means?"

"No." The answer.

"Pege!!! You're making a sound." Arthur was surprised, because this time he heard the original voice of Pege who usually only noisy to him.

Located not far from the park which is only separated by one large wall between the two. Still out in the open, specifically for combat training. The place where Smits, Leo, Gildarts and Rinto train together using their sacred weapons.

A one-on-one fight between Smits against Gildarts and Leo against Rinto.
