Ch. 15 - Irian Island (Arc - 1)

On the easternmost island in the land of Neverland, included in the territory of the kingdom of Nusantara. There is a large fortress that stands firmly in the middle of a densely populated settlement.

The area is named Irian, the last stronghold of the Nusantara kingdom that still survives the onslaught of the demon clan and becomes the only region in the eastern part of the archipelago kingdom that has not been destroyed controlled by the Devil clan.

The fort is located on a cliff, where right behind the fort, there is a sea and also a hidden fortress in deep sea waters.

Even though it looked like it was night but the soldiers were still busy and passing by, there were rows of soldiers and knights holding torches and weapons. The atmosphere was quite rowdy in one of the rooms within the fortress.

Some people can be seen looking at a table, on the table there is a map depicting the location of the island of Irian.

One of them put a small black flag on some areas of the island and only one area that appears given a small flag of the kingdom of Nusantara on the map.

One of them seemed frustrated by the situation he saw. He kicked the table until the little flags fell out of place.

"Mr Pistris, calm down." Another tried to get close and held the back of the person who kicked the table.

That person was Pistris Umisea, one of the knights of the Nusantara kingdom as well as the leader who led the army to defend against the Demon clan on the island of Irian.

Its shape is unusual because on the right and left neck there are gills like fish. His teeth were sharp dams arranged quite a lot, his eyes also looked pitch black.

There is a membrane on the sidelines of his fingers and toes. As well as scales mixed with human skin on his body. This is because the knights of Pistris is a race of Atlantian or humans call them sea demons.

Ras Atlantian is one of the races that live and serve for the kingdom of Nusantara. Although they are different from humans but they are welcomed by the people of this kingdom. There is no discrimination they get since they live and settle in the kingdom of Nusantara.

But another story if they are seen by the people of other kingdoms. Perhaps they will be insulted even in the slave market, has been more than 1000 years of Atlantian race living and serving in the kingdom of the archipelago, when they accept discrimination in every place on the mainland Neverland. Only the Nusantara kingdom opened the door to the sea demon race to be able to live peacefully and together.

Although the Atlantians can live and breathe in water, they still need land and sunlight in their lives. That is why they cannot create their own underwater kingdom.

Amidst the confusion, a soldier hastily opened the door of the room and entered facing the knight Pistris.

"Report Mr. Pistris.. The relief troupe from the central palace does not seem to be arriving in time" he said on his knees.

"What!! How's it possible?" Defeat after defeat had made Pistris knights dizzy, plus new problems that arise at this time.

It should be that the reinforcements of the soldiers and the great knights should have arrived by noon tomorrow to defend the last stronghold of the Irian island because if they do not arrive on time then we will be defeated by the onslaught of the demon clan

"The warships they used were attacked by sea monsters" the messenger continued.

"Dam.. What do we do now?"

"Strive Mr. Pistris."

Knight Pistris turned around and looked towards the great knight of the Celestial kingdom named Sebastian Austin.

"Mr Sebastian.." The knight Pistris.

"We must think of a best strategy in order to withstand the onslaught of the Demon clan until reinforcements come." Her speech.

"What about the help of the round table conference?" ask the knight Pistris.

"They should have participated in the troupe of warships sent by the Nusantara royal central palace."

Right now the war against the Demon clan was going on everywhere. The combined knights formed by the round table conference had scattered into various regions that were defending themselves from the onslaught of the Demon clan. No wonder if one of the great knights of the Celestial kingdom helped in the war that had occurred on the island of Irian.

"Mr Igor, what about your wounds?" Knight Sebastian approached a man with disheveled hair and a scarred burly body was sitting holding his right hand.

"Sad.. Are you insulting me?" the knight from the Norwegian kingdom was visibly upset by Sebastian's question to him.

"You barbarians even take such a question with insults! Try to understand gentlemen.." Strict Sebastian.

The Kingdom of Norway is a kingdom that only knows to fight, they are famous as barbarians and love fighting to the death. Their characters are also quite stubborn and can not be invited to compromise even for a tea party in the palace.

"So, you're talking about an asshole.. Or I'll cut your head off." one of the Norwegian knights stood up and replied to Sebastian.

"Lutor.. Enough." said Igor to calm his friend.

"What should we do now?" Pistris who was the leader within the fort looked extremely panicked.

Meanwhile.. Not far from the fort. A village located 5 km from the fort, there were quite a number of knights and soldiers who were on guard and alert from the attack of the demon clan.

They use armor complete with combat-ready weapons, their job is to guard the villagers who are currently inside the house.

The villagers had been given instructions to leave the village early in the morning when the sun would rise and enter the fort. Given the current royal army is being cornered facing the Demon clan.

The front line of the war was only 15 km from the village.

In a small hut in the village. A small family is seen sitting at a table with a simple meal. It looks like they're having dinner together.

A Father and a Mother, also seen two young women who seemed to be their children. One was 18 years old and the other was 15. Layakaya a family, they eat dinner with greed and occasionally seen joking.

"Papa.. Are we leaving this village?" a child asked.

"Yes. Tomorrow morning we will enter the fort. In there it's safer than in our village today."

"But, aren't there many knights guarding the village?"

"It is precisely because of that, we must enter the fortress so that we do not burden the knights against the evil monsters that will attack the village."

Like a father.. The man tries to win over his family who are a little afraid of the war that is currently happening. War is indeed very scary what else if until the family becomes a victim.

Of course, there have been many casualties due to the onslaught of the Demon clan. The land that is ploughed by the devil will only bring destruction. Such was the tumor that spread throughout the land of Neverland.

"Papa listen, the holy knight has already appeared. So you don't have to worry" said the father.

The holy knight was indeed the only hope for all the residents of the land of Neverland. Because ever since they were present, the combat strength of the knights increased. Moreover, the holy knight was a manifestation of the Goddess who had sacrificed her life in order to protect the land of Neverland.

Hearing about the holy knight, it was enough to make the little family back up and enjoy their dinner.

Till.. Their shack doors are shattered. The sudden buzzing sound attracted the attention of the little family. When looking towards the door of the hut, they all screamed in fear, as it was currently in front of them.. Seen a group of green goblin monsters holding weapons.
