Ch. 39 - Revenge

After finishing the dinner, the holy knights and knights of the Inggram kingdom who were escorting them towards the Celestial kingdom rested in their respective tents.

Their tents surrounding the campfire were seen to have begun to dim.

On a hill not far from their tent, a man wearing a white T-shirt in the style of a fairyland is seen enjoying the night sky full of stars while lying down with both hands as a base for his head.

"Arthur.."

Arthur who was lying under the grass of the hill turned towards the source of the sound.

"Oh.. Uncle!" Her speech.

"E.. Please don't call me Uncle." Said Gildarts bowing his body.

"Hahahah, it's been.. Just accept it." Arthur stood up and patted Gildarts on the shoulder.

Gildarts can only be called uncle by other holy knights, because he is the oldest holy knight among them.

"What's Uncle!?"

"No.. I just can't sleep."

The two of them then sat down on the grass while looking at the starry sky.

"I didn't expect for more than 4 months we've been in this world." Gildarts.

Arthur smiled, still looking at the sky.

"Hey Arthur.. In your home world.. Is the sky this beautiful?" Ask Gildarts.

"Hm.. In my world.. The stars in my world are red.." Answer Arthur.

Gildarts turned towards Arthur in astonishment.

"In my world.. My previous world wasn't this beautiful. I live in a world where technology is advanced.. Cities everywhere, no more this shady nature.. It's all just skyscrapers. It's just that all that sophistication can only be enjoyed by rich people. Poor people like me can only see from afar.." Arthur explained.

"So apparently!"

"What about you Uncle?" Arthur asked back to Gildarts.

"My world.. Well, maybe it's also quite modern because in my world we go everywhere using cars, not cars."

"Car? What kind of car is there in your world Uncle??" Arthur looks curious.

"Car.. You know, objects that move using a machine and four wheels.." Gildarts Bright.

"Can the car in your world fly over the sky?"

"Well!" Gildarts surprised.

"The car can only run on asphalt.. You know the black street." Gildarts was confused to explain.

"Oh.. It means my world is still more advanced." Said Arthur.

"Uncle tau.. In my world cars can already fly above the sky." Arthur continued enthusiastically.

"Well! Lies.." Gildarts can't believe it.

The conversation between the two of them continues tonight..

The holy knights did come from different worlds and eras. None of them came from the same world and era, they were all gathered by the strange magic of a goddess.. Until they are called to this world.

In a room..

Richard walked down the dark passageway while flicking his finger, letting out a small flame as a light source to look forward.

He walked while increasing his alertness.

"Where are you ugly monsters!" His mind.

He was currently searching for a one-eyed cyclops monster that had already eaten his left hand. He walked with eyes that showed anger.. He wanted revenge on the monster.

A moment later in front of him were two forked roads. Richard closed his eyes.. He tried to sense the living aura of the monster. Richard sends sonar waves to the ground to find the one-eyed cyclops monster.

I don't know since when Richard could do that but for sure during these 4 months he really mastered many new techniques, maybe it was the result of the skills of the monsters he had consumed so far.

Richard took a left direction, he ran quickly like an assassin ready to kill his prey.

Moments later.. In front of him. The cyclops monster holding the giant beam was eating another monster carcass.

Without a second thought Richard immediately launched an attack.. With a boost of fire on both of his feet Richard leaped high towards the monster. Then Richard struck the monster with a fire punch of his right on his back.

The monster was shocked and bounced forward. A moment later the blind cyclops monster thrashed.. He got up and started attacking in all directions because he could not see.

The only eye he had was a knife that Richard had stabbed 4 months ago into his eye. The knife was still lodged in the eyes of the monster until now.

Attacks in all directions of the cyclops monsters were quite troublesome as the destruction power was quite large and also quite agile. But Richard could avoid all of that with his current skill set.. He's jumping there, jumping here..

"Hm, this is nothing." Said Richard.

"Oi ugly monster.. Do you remember my voice.. Huh!" Richard shouted towards the cyclops monster.

The monster was silent for a moment.. He seemed to listen and tried to guess Richard's words.

"It's me.. Don't pretend you don't know my voice." Richard shouted back and jumped towards the monster.

The monster responded.. He finally recognized Richard's voice and grew angry that Richard was now blind.

The monster floated its huge beam weapon forward right towards Richard who was leaping towards him.. But with Richard's shrewdness, he used his fire magic to dodge and circle the monster.

Moments later.. Richard was in front of that monster face and.. Richard held the knife. With full force he again pushed the knife that had been stuck.

"Feel this!!" His shouting.

The monster was in pain.. The green blood that dried from his face came back from Richard's actions. The monster, with his right hand trying to hit Richard, but Richard managed to dodge while plucking the knife from the eyes of the cyclops monster, so the monster instead punch his own face.

"Enak isn't. hah!" Richard shouted again.

The monster fell from its own blow. The monster continued to grow in pain.. What else after the knife was removed. It really hurts..

"It's time you die.." Said Richard.

Richard held his knife with his right hand, the only hand he had right now. He poured empire into the knife..

The monster that had fallen down got up, he looked furious..

Richard.. Look at that monster.

"Punctio." Says Richard

Just one blink of an eye.The monster died instantly with a knife that pierced the left chest, penetrated the heart and penetrated to the chest look hollow.

The knife was stuck with the monster's heart on the wall of the ground, right behind the cyclops monster that was currently falling towards the front.

"My revenge is avenged." Richard said as he pulled out a knife from the wall of the ground.

"Now you will be my dinner."

Richard walked while dragging the monster that weighed hundreds of kilograms with only one hand. Muscles and veins all over his body were clearly visible, although he still pulled the monster carcass..

As far as 5 kilometers he pulled the carcass, until he returned to the room he had before. The room was very bright because above the ceiling of the room there was a blue eye crystal that dripped water to make a puddle in half the room.

He was limped because he was tired.. After a moment of silence, Richard finally came back to the monster carcass and began skinning the monster carcass..
