Ch. 65 - The Truth that is Hidden

A moment ago..

When suddenly the Rever Block appears before Arthur.. Just that made the other holy knights react quickly when they felt a powerful burst of aura coming from Arthur's direction.

The six of them who were sitting eating grilled fish immediately moved quickly towards Arthur who was still fixated.

But when glimpsed again, it was not the six but only the five. Rinto, Smits, Diana, Gildarts and Leo move fast while Pege.. He seemed to be away from his friends.

The explosion of the imperial blow made a crack around the ground where the fight between Pege and Rever was fought. Rever's quick movements and strong attacks could be overcome by Pege even though he looks very difficult.

Pege is not alone, he is currently fighting alongside Arthur, Rinto and Gildarts. Normally a 4-on-1 fight is an advantage but not in this case.

Not far from the location of the fight, the wounded Smits in the head carrying Leo who fainted due to injuries he got from the Rever towards Diana who tried to restore Rebecca's consciousness.

"Pege!! Watch out.." Arthur shouted to see Rever issuing a long-range attack.

Pege who was the target of the attack was undaunted instead of fending off with his greatsword. The attack was heavy enough to make him push back but in the end he was able to stop the attack.

Pege ran towards Rever and swung his greatsword but the attack was still evasive. Rever jumps into the sky, Arthur who sees the gap also jumps in auxiliary by the power of Rinto that makes the footing of the large rock upwards. Rinto did that with his estate empire.

Arthur's sword and the sharp hard bones of the Rever meet create a huge imperial explosion. From below Gildarts came swinging his huge axe upwards but again Rever managed to dodge.

"Tch.. We haven't hurt him at all.." Rinto.

"Ch ch ch.. EVEN THOUGH YOU'VE BEEN PLAYING THE GAME, BUT ONLY THIS IS YOUR STRENGTH.." Rever tried to intimidate.

"Damn it.. Great also Satan 6 big sins!!" Arthur was excited.

"Arthurian.. We must attack him together." Gildarts saw Arthur.

"Yes.. Let's attack.."

But they haven't reacted.. Pege attacked himself. He ran while dragging his greatsword on the ground and pointed his sword towards the Rever.

The sword gave off a pitch-black aura which then became a long-range attack. The Rever who had not been able to dodge the attack parried with both hands.

The attack was so severe that Rever ended up injured right in the chest and bleeding.

"He-great!!" Gildarts.

"Pege.. Damn, you're outta me again."

Though quiet, Pege has powers that surpass even Arthur. Initially holding the title of strongest among them was Arthur with his light empire but during these 4 months, the shy Pege even experienced a significant increase from his other colleagues.

The opposite empire of Arthur's.. Pege is able to be a strong figure that can be relied on at times like this.

"That guy.. I thought he ran away!!" Rinto muttered, The reason is when Rever appeared. Pege is seen not running towards the Rever but in the opposite direction.

"Knight of darkness!! Ahhaha.." Rever laughed shortly after the attack.

"Lumayan is also you.. How about you join us??"

Pege remained silent, still setting up the horses to attack.

Rever stood up after he was injured as a result of Pege's attack, along with him standing also the wound on his chest healed instantly.

"But.. This attack is still nothing!" Said Rever.

"Huh!!!"

"Damn the devil."

Arthur and Rinto muttered, they both frowned because their current opponent was extremely strong.

"What do you think the knight of darkness? Wouldn't it be interesting if you joined us.. What else.. Your empire is exactly the same as the empire of the demons." Rever smiled.

That's right, as a knight who has an empire of darkness. The aura emanating from the fox Pege felt like a demon, what else if he did not appear. Perhaps if one sensed his aura then he would be mistaken for part of the demon clan.

Pege did not respond, his face flat.

"Come on.." Rever is still trying.

The laughing Rever again put on a serious face. Rever's hand froze as he held the spear. He threw the spear into the ground.

"Games.." Arthur looked at him.

"Are you not papa?" Ask them Smits.

"Haaa.. As you can see."

"However is Leo?"

"Diana is treating him now."

The rever suddenly floated into the air.. He again gave off his angry aura. This time the aura was more concentrated than before.

"I will show you the power of the real devil.." Rever's eyes lit up.. The sky that was blue became black saw clouds cloudy around them.

"What's he doing?" Arthur saw Rever hovering.

"The top magic... Punishment of the second form... Quod poenam's." When Rever finished saying that.

With the speed of light, a black lightning bolt struck from the sky. It was a large lightning.. That black lightning instantly aimed at the five of them.

"Awassa!!" They have not reacted so quickly.. The five of them fell on the ground in a state of armor they were wearing broke.

After the attack the sky again became bright.

"Haha.. Just like that." Said Rever.

Right now the holy knights were heavily injured due to the attack. Even Rinto fainted and only his white eyes were visible.

"Damn!!" Arthur tried to get up. The armour he was wearing right now was no longer shaped and had already broken into pieces. His body also suffered burns, some looking bruised and blackened.

Pege also did not want to lose, he also got up and stood at the aid with his great sword.

Gildarts was still knocked down, though conscious but he could not move. Even with Smits who are still trying to get up with all his might.

"I actually just want to chat with you guys but if it's been this far I'd better get rid of you sooner!" The rever floated down to the ground.

"Don't joke.. It's not over!"

"aaa.. I forget. I want to tell you something. This isn't the first time I've faced a holy knight.. As long as I live.. I've faced 20 holy knights from generation to generation and you're the 21st generation." Rever's feet touched the ground, he saw the helpless holy knights in front of him.

"What are you talking about exactly?" Arthur got up, he got up while holding his shield and sword.

"Pege!!" Arthur mutters.

"I told you earlier.. That they summoned you to this world to reaffirm the dimensional seal between this land and the land of the demons.. And.. To do that, it's very easy." Rever smiled.

"Enough with your deaths." Rever smiled again.

"Listen to the stupid!" Rever quickly moves toward Arthur and hits Arthur in the face until Arthur slips back to the ground.

"Arthur!" Smits who wanted to help were still unable to move much.

Rever lifted Arthur by strangling his neck.

"You think how many holy knights have been summoned to this world? Huh uh?"

"They were all called just to be sacrificed.. Because if the ten holy knights die then the magic of the ten holy knights will activate and seal back the portal connecting this land with the land of demons."

"You have all been fooled by them.. Haha. In the end, you're all gonna die." That word was enough to shock the holy knights who heard it.

"Now.. I'll kill you first!" Rever took out a sharp bone from his palm.

"You're stupid.. Huh, ji-if it's true what you say, it means that if we die here then you and your troops will no longer be able to enter this land." Arthur said with a strangled neck.

That's true, as Rever himself said. If the holy knights die then the seal magic of the ten demon knights will die and automatically return to make the portal between the landlords of Darksideland land thin. This is what makes the Demon clan have not controlled the land of Neverland even since they attacked hundreds of years ago.

"Just calm.. We can overcome that. So you can all die peacefully.. Haha." Said Rever confidently.
