Ch. 135 - The Greedy Appears

"Ahhhhhhhh.. Yeah, like that kids.. Like that, yaa.. Ahhhhhhh.." A yellow-striped black-shelled Devil moved his four hands while holding a small stick. He was like a maestro who led a musical performance on stage, while continuing to sigh and close his eyes.

The demon was dissolved in the carnage that took place in the valley where the town of Lockdown was located.

For some reason, the movements of the demons flying above the sky seemed to follow the swing of his little stick. All the monsters that attacked on land were like that, he really enjoyed the moment where the screams of the slain creatures became a beautiful groove in his ears.

"Yeah.. Yaaa, get out.. Let out all the screams of misery.." The demon glared while shouting in excitement.

Meanwhile, in a dark room.

The place where the magic chancellor and the high-ranking of Lockdown city witnessed the fight that took place outside the city.

"Chancellor.. In view of the volume of demons that came it seemed like the attack this time was led by a demon with a power that could not be underestimated." Said a senior who was standing next to the chancellor.

"Chancellor, do we have to use destructive magic to destroy the demons." Connect the others.

"Wait a minute.. Let's just see how far the magicians and magic domes have survived out there.. After all if we use the ultimate weapon, that woman will die instantly." The chancellor turned back to look at a young lady who was already limp, thin and wrinkled bound in the middle of the glowing magic circle.

"What's more we haven't secured a replacement for that woman yet.." The magic chancellor.

"The strongest magic knight has been assigned to secure the Chancellor's next magic core subject.. You don't have to worry about that." Said one who was in the room.

Back out of town.

On top of the gigantic fortress surrounding the entire city, the magic knights launched their magic attacks in all directions to disrupt the formation of the demon army. To date, not a single magic knight has died.

They all attacked while taking cover inside the magic dome that sealed the sky of Lockdown city while occasionally opening small portals between the domes to attack using magic cannons or attack using their own magic.

Even with the giant gate that is below, everything is firmly standing even though it is getting the onslaught of weapons, magic and any attack that can be launched by the demon army.

No scuffing at all and not changing at all. The walls and gates surrounding this city had even resisted the powerful attacks of the 3 great powers from the great sin-level demons in the past.

Not far from the valley,

One of the Devils with his subordinates engaged in an important conversation.

"Sir.. The sin of Gluttony, if it is true what you say. Then how can we break through the defense of Lockdown city that 3 demon level great sin alone cannot penetrate through in the past." A lowered demon spoke of the possibility of breaking through the defenses of Lockdown city.

"Chichichichis.. It's not that simple. As long as you know that this city has been attacked for hundreds of years.. Tonight is the height of the attack." The big-eyed devil.

"Sir.. I don't understand."

"Stupid... Explain to him Crokus." Said the Devil with that powerful aura.

"You need not doubt this plan of attack.. Because this plan was carried out a hundred years ago. Believe that... The way is quite easy, if attacking from the outside can not then we will attack from the inside." Obviously a Devil named Crokus.

"Chichichichis... In a moment, tonight's attack is just the beginning of action." Obviously the Devil, Belzebub the sin of gluttony.

Then...

The fight continues..

Explosions, screams, cries have been heard since the moon was overhead.

The gripping midnight still terrorized those who could not enter the city, even with a burly man who was still fighting with a body full of blood. Not his blood but the blood of the monsters and demons that he slashed with his sword.

Pege, the saint knight with his greatsword could still overcome the monsters and demons that were not at his level. He could easily kill them all without needing to expend his great strength, even so he remained annoyed that he could not fight while protecting the people who had been killed due to the attacks of monsters and demons that kept coming.

He cannot do that alone, he can only help those who are not far from his reach. While those who were far enough away, could not be saved by him.

Pege, a quiet holy knight who almost never spoke at this time felt the need for help from his other comrades. Things he had never thought of before because after all, he was one of the strongest knights among the others.

He felt weak at this moment, not because he could not kill all the monsters and demons that attacked him but he felt weak because he left many victims who died before him.

Frustrated, Pege's flat expression now turned furious with eyes and lips puffing down. His emotions continued to rise as he continued to attack the flying monsters and demons that were still coming from all directions.

"Arrgggg..." Unknowingly, he who was usually quite calm started to express his emotions by shouting while slashing with his strength.

A long-range slash with a stream of black magic that he unleashed was able to save a Mother who hugged her child when it almost became a large monster meal not far from its right.

When the slightest concentration was diverted, one of the Devils flying towards him managed to get close and stab Pege right in his left chest. A long fingernail had almost pierced his chest if not for the steel armor he was wearing.

Pege retaliated while clasping the demon's wings and then pulled it to the ground and directly hit the demon's face until its head was crushed.

Pege stopped moving, while continuing to watch around with a sharp look. He sighed with the aim of calming down from the emotions that momentarily overpowered him.

A split second of monsters and demons huddled against Pege who was pressed surrounded by them.

Pege counterattacks one by one the monsters and demons he managed to kill but this time the attacks came so much. Until finally he could not stem the attack and Pege drowned in the sea of monsters and demons that attacked simultaneously.

The monster continued to attack until it piled into a hill, Pege who was below could not move. The longer, the more he is squeezed by the burden and the more helpless he becomes.

Until the end he started getting serious..

"Fluctus et tenebrae, exstinctionis de magia."

Pege stood up by raising his greatsword, along with it the monsters and demons instantly flung into the sky and were cut into pieces.

Pege with a face that returned flat gave off an actual powerful aura. The place where he was standing right now became a sea of pieces of corpses of monsters and demons that he slashed down with his one powerful strike.

His body was full of blood due to the rain of blood that resulted from that one powerful attack. There were no more monsters or demons around. All of them died in just one powerful attack.

Pege looked around him, only to realize that behind the dark sky there were so many demons. He could also hear well, he heard the sound of screams and the sound of a flying demon that was very curved like a giant insect.

Shortly after killing all the monsters and demons that were in the cluster attacked him, suddenly a hammer made of giant stone pointed at him.

He dodged just by shifting to the left a little, the hammer stone hit a building that was already full of fire.

Simultaneously, 3 giant cyclops attacked Pege from the front.1 The monster jumped while attacking with both hands raised above its head, he will hit Pege with both of his big hands simultaneously.

Pege undaunted, he ran and jumped as he pointed his greatsword into the eyes of the cyclops monster.

The monster was losing fast until the great sword that Pege was pointing at him broke through and split his head.

Upon reaching the ground, one of the monsters aimed his giant stone hammer weapon and was successfully fended off by Pege with his right hand. Pege easily countered the attack and cut off the arm of the monster that attacked him using the sword he held in his left hand, the pieces of the cyclops monster's hand he threw strongly towards the monster behind him.

The monsters were heavily defeated, then a sizable attack led directly to Pege's front. With enough reflexes, Pege deflected the heavy attack with his greatsword and successfully repelled the attack into the sky and an explosion ensued.

Pege condensed the attack towards the group of demon troops that filled the sky.

A moment later, the violent blow that led to Pege dragged him backwards even though he managed to fend off the attack with his sword as a shield. He was dragged back a few feet away, but he looked unharmed.

"Wah wow.. I did not expect that there were any strong humans in this valley. I think all the knights are hiding inside the vault of that rotten city.." Said a demon with a big horn on its eel.

Pege did not reply to the demon's ravings, but Pege knew very well that the demon before him was no ordinary demon. He could feel a powerful aura emanating from the horned and burly demon in front of him.

Somewhere else..

"Don't die old man, I still haven't returned your kindness." Said Richard who came to head off the monster attack that came attacking the Dwarf grandfather.

"Well! Young man.." The Dwarven Grandfather was quite surprised to see how easily Richard smashed the head of the monster about to attack him.

Nearby, Nora was stunned with teary eyes. He fell down and looked quite lethargic when he saw a body piece not far from where Richard was standing.

"Dora!!" Grandfather Dwarf saw Nora, he looked quite guilty.

"I.. Iroh.."

"Hey.. Nora, what's wrong?" Richard didn't understand what was happening.

"Norah.. Nora, I'm sorry. Iroh, he insisted on staying here." Said Grandfather Dwarf who approached Nora.

"Iroh.. No, Brother.. Brother Iroh." Nora was hysterical a moment later. How not, if the person he was looking for from earlier with Richard was now lifeless with a body that was no longer intact.

"Sister!" Richard instantly came to his senses as Nora cried out hysterically calling out her brother's name.

Nora screams at the cut of her brother's body, while Grandpa Dwarf tries to calm down the limp-looking Nora lamenting her brother's grisly death.

"Dam.. If only it could be faster." Said Richard.

Ever since the first incident, Richard and Nora had been going around looking for the whereabouts of the Dwarf grandfather and Nora's remaining family. It's just that because it's so dense and the chaos of the situation makes them unable to do much. Not to mention the monsters that attacked made Richard unable to do much and protected the entire inhabitants of this valley simultaneously.

"Grandfather.. Grandpa where's my mom?" Asked Nora who was as hot as her tears.

"Just relax, your mother made it out of this settlement into the woods." Said Grandfather Dwarf calming Nora down.

"Hey grandfather.. Li-see that..." A man who was fighting alongside the Dwarf grandfather pointed towards the front.

The Dwarf Grandfather was astonished to see the returning troupe of monsters coming towards them. In addition, from the group of monsters, some giant monsters were seen crashing with strong vibrations that shook the ground.

"Ma-dead.. We're all gonna die." The surviving warriors lost their guts.

"Arrgggg...." One of the giant monsters shouted and ran very fast towards them.

When they were all silent and unreacted, Richard, who was alone, pulled out his dagger. He jumped with the fire he created. Just before the giant arm hit it touched it it he maneuvered towards the left with a burst of fire in his hand, as it revolved he slit the neck of the giant monster with his dagger.

A splash of blood filled the sky, the monster fell down. Not stopping there, Richard quickly ran towards the monster troupe and dropped the monsters one by one with a dagger in his right hand. He ran quickly and maneuvered with the help of a fire explosion. Just once a hot scratch from his dagger and all the scratched monsters died instantly.

He attacked quickly, now he looked like an assassin and in just a few minutes he had killed half the monster with his dagger.

"Young people.. Who the hell are you?" Ask the Dwarf grandfather who saw Richard fighting with the group of monsters in front of him.

Richard stood with a sharp gaze, waiting for another attack from the surviving monsters. He stood up while holding a dagger that seemed to be smoky due to the friction of heat from his hand.

"Munimentum adversus venena."

Richard reflexively leaped backwards dodging the attacks coming from the front.

The attack of the acidic liquid melted the ground where Richard was standing.

"Huh.."

A demonic figure with a giant spider-like posture appeared while smiling sinisterly. "I think I got some really nutritious food tonight." Say the Devil.

And..

"Ignis vulnus, erucae boost." The dagger that Richard held on fire, along with it he shot straight towards the demon and split the demon using his fire dagger.

The demon split in two and burned to the ground with just one strike.

"I don't have time to play around." Richard.

Instantly it amazed the fighters, even with the Dwarf grandfather who was still wondering about Richard's true identity.

"Don't be a man's snob.." An attack threw Richard towards the tree. The attack was strong enough to make Richard unable to dodge and hit the tree until it collapsed.

"Chuck.. I hate a pretentious man like you." The devil who blew Richard away. "Ehhh.." The demon was shocked because right now Richard was right behind him. Just a split second when the demon thought it had hit Richard, Richard had suddenly moved.

With a left leg kick that hit the demon's face it stretched down so hard that the ground cracked and left a mark. Not enough to get there, Richard with a burning right hand hit the demon again, but from the left he again got an impromptu attack until he dodged and canceled his fatal attack.

"Haha.. Look at you, Mosqito. You've been rendered powerless by man." The devil on the left.

"Damn it.." The demon named Mosqito got up from the ground while holding his head. "Crokus, I don't need your help, go.. I could kill that man alone." Connect Mosqito.

"You're underestimating Mosqito man too much.. Luckily I was on time, you almost died. I can feel if the human currently in front of us is not an ordinary human." Strictly Crokus who suddenly focused with Richard.

Crokus and Mosqito, are high-class demons and they are both right-handers of the 6 great sins demon titled the gluttonous sin of Bellzebub.

Meanwhile Richard who was aware of the danger from the two demons that were in front of him turned to look towards Grandpa Dwarf and Nora who were still grieving.

"Old grandfather.. Get out of here now!" Rigorously.

"Eh.. What about you alone?" Reply to the grandfather.

"I'll try to hold them, now go.. You all go. They're too dangerous." Richard once again.

"Baa.. Alright."

"It's not that easy.." Mosqito moves with his wings.

Richard tried to block Mosqito's movements but Crokus attacked with full force, sending him bouncing backwards once more.

Mosqito, who was targeting the fighters, managed to paralyze one of the men who was sturdy. A long tongue coming out of his mouth pierced the man's chest, it was sharp enough to be able to pierce through human skin.

A while later, the man's body became thin, dry and pale. His blood was drained by a demon named Mosqito.

They all don't wiggle, they can only run.

After finishing with the man, Mosqito is now targeting the only woman in the entourage. The woman was of course Nora, along with the Dwarf grandfather who ran limping due to a mental disorder after seeing the intact body of his brother.

"Hm.. It looks like that woman's blood is so good." Mosqito.

Richard returns, the target of course is Mosqito but again Crokus gets in the way. Richard managed to avoid Crokus's attack this time but he still could not get close to Mosqito because after all Crokus was the strongest demon from the right hand of Bellzebub.

Finally they engaged in a fierce fight, each other hit and tangkis deflected happening with rapid movements. Richard really could not get close to Mosqito because he had to focus on facing Crokus, a demon that can not be underestimated.

While Richard was preoccupied with Crokus, Mosqito's long tongue attack began to approach and the split second of the attack was brushed aside by a powerful enough protective magic.

"Huh.. Who's that?" Mosqito stared at the sky, he saw a black-robed figure wearing a mask.

Even with Richard and Crokus involved in the fight, their attention was diverted towards the top.

"Magicae creaturae: excubias terram, golems." After chanting the spell, suddenly a vibration occurred and something appeared from within the ground.

A giant statue from the ground appeared and moved to attack Mosqito, not only one but there were several statues that became a shield and protected the Dwarf grandfather's entourage and Nora fled from the place.

"Ah.. Damn, I hate dolls, they don't have blood for me to enjoy." Mosqito.

Crokus took the opportunity by lashing out at Richard who was still distracted, but with his strong instinct Richard held back the punch that led to his face with the right hand, then hit back with the left hand.

Crokus retreated and managed to dodge Richard's blow with one flap of his black wings.

"Hmmm.. I just met a human like you? Judging by your shabby appearance, it looks like you're not a magic knight." Crokus said so evasive.

From the other direction, a loud bang was heard. The battle between Mosqito and the puppets of the land is over, it looks like the fighters of the Dwarf grandfather's troupe and Nora managed to run far enough after Mosqito managed to destroy the living shield that blocked his path.

"Damn you.. Masked witch." He turned towards the sky.

The soaring witch responded to nothing, confidently challenging Mosqito to a duel.

"Rrhhkg.. I'm really sick of lowly creatures like you." Mosqito lunged quickly using his transparent wings.

"Magicae creaturae: ecce ventus tour... ."

"Huh!?" Richard was flabbergasted to see the masked magic knight lose half his body. Starting from the head until his stomach was lost to be swallowed by the ferocious creature that appeared behind him.

It was not enough to get there, half the witch's body was again chewed and swallowed by him.

He is the sin of Gluttony, Bellzebub..

He was greedy and would eat anything, he was very fond of eating powerful creatures because after he ate it his strength would increase. Bellzebub, he's a demon who's never satisfied. He and his army are voracious demons who make other creatures as livestock to satisfy his hunger cravings that never go away.

"Aahhhaaa... I think by eating this witch I can be satisfied.. Aahhhaaaa, I'm still hungry." He rubbed his lips that had opened very wide when swallowing the witch who had fought Mosqito.

"Mr Bellzebub.." Said his two subordinate demons.

"I feel a great power around here, I think I can be satisfied if I can eat the owner of that power.." He said with a smile filled with saliva.

Meanwhile Richard who was standing quietly below him, sweat poured out from feeling the same demonic aura as Rever's aura the sin of anger.

Bellzebub was silent, his big eyes looking at Richard and he immediately smiled. "Chichichichis.. Looks like you are strong, I will be very satisfied if I can devour your body.. Chichichis.." Bellzebub charged at high speed towards Richard.

He swooped down like an eagle crashing at his prey and when Bellzebub managed to reach Richard with his hand.

"Did!?" Crokus was surprised to see the blood pouring from his master's arm.
