Ch. 46 - Be Vigilant
In the middle of the mass graves they had made. One of the holy knights was seen sitting and holding both hands, like a man praying.
Although it took quite a long time than expected, finally the holy knights managed to bury all the villagers who had been killed by the demons and had been transformed into zombies.
After doing that grueling task, one of the knights was solemnly praying, the thing he had to do because it was his belief. While others are seen sitting while waiting for the knight to complete his ritual.
"Mr Arthur.. Up ahead, there is a war going on between the knights of the Celestial kingdom and the demons."
While they were waiting for one of the knights to perform such a ritual, one of the Inggram royal knights lurking in front came to report to all of them.
"What's the situation?"
"The war looks fierce but it seems like the Celestial knights can survive."
"Good then." Arthur stroked his chest while watching his colleague who was still sitting in the middle of the mass grave of the population.
It seemed that up ahead there, there had been a war between the knights of the Celestial kingdom with the demon army intent on attacking the city of Gouda. Arthur actually wanted to go to the place immediately but the ritual performed by one of his colleagues was not finished and because of that he had to be patient waiting until his colleague finished performing the ritual of prayer to all the residents who had been died.
"Ne.. Ne.. Arthur, what's that guy doing?" Rebecca pulled up Arthur's robe and pointed at her companion who was still seen sitting while closing her eyes.
Arthur turned to Rebecca. "He was praying.. It was a death ritual from the world he came from."
"Huadeh." Smits could only sigh as bodan waited.
"Tch.. I thought that with Richard gone, there were no more troublesome people but there were still other weirdos in the group."
"Rinto.. Watch your talk." Diana reprimands Rinto when she sees Ivy's sad expression hearing Rinto's words about Richard.
"Why? Something is wrong!! It's true, isn't it? Rinto insisted.
"It's been.. It's been.. Hehe. "Gildarts.
Amidst their commotion, Leo approached Arthur while holding his shoulder.
"Arthur..."
"Leos.. What's up?"
"I still don't understand about that guy." Said Leo looking towards his companion who was still sitting while praying.
"He's not only wasting our time here, but all this time he's only been talking to you, he's just listening to you. Is it okay to leave it like that?" Said Leo.
"Heah.. I think so too. I've advised him a lot but he's always been evasive. He said he was embarrassed to talk to all of you." Reply Arthur.
"Ah.. Never mind, after all he's pretty good, too.." Leo sighed.
Soon, the knight wearing black armor stood up. He turned around while holding a large sword on his shoulder. The knight approached Arthur and whispered to Arthur.
"Yoss.. It's done." Arthur said as he received a whisper from the black knight on the pilgrimage.
"It's time we continue the journey." Arthur continued while pointing at the road.
All of them stood up and walked towards their vehicles.
"Haduehh.. Finally done, too." Smits stood up from his place.
"Tch.. Really troublesome." Rinto Gumam.
"It's been.. It's been.. Hehe." Gildarts takes on the role.
They all finally continued their journey. On horseback Arthur talks to one of Inggram's knights.
"How far is this place from where the war took place?"
"Not too far, in about 20 minutes we'll see them soon." Said a knight Inggram.
Meanwhile.. Far east of Neverland.
"Bastard, what the devil really thinks!" Depone hit the table to pieces in a tent located in the port city of Kander.
The troops were partly monsters and partly low level demons. From the reconnaissance of the defense forces of the port city of Kander, that the demons they faced on the island of Sirian previously not seen among the troops.
The demons they were referring to were Lucifer and his 5 subordinate strong demons. It made Depone as a knight who led the defense forces confused and could not guess what movement the demon army would make.
"Mr Depone.. We better attack them first. This is our golden opportunity!" The white-bearded old man stood up from the seat while voicing his assault idea.
"No.. Wait a minute, Mr. Arie.. You don't know what happened on Sirian island when we attacked them. That's.. It completely destroyed our formation." Jons, the knights from the Dongion kingdom come together.
"It's a pity Mr. Arie, but what Mr. Jons said was true.. We don't know what the fuckin' demons are planning." One of the other knights confirmed what Jons had said.
"Tch.. As scared as you are after being defeated by the devil." Great knight Arie cursed annoyed.
Great Knight Arie Latus is a knight of the Nusantara kingdom who leads the troops in this Kander city. Although his age is five heads but he is still sangar and agar if he is fighting with his opponent.
"Please pardon.. Mr. Arie. What the two of them said is true." Depone looked down in front of Arie.
Although Depone's current position was above Arie but he still lowered his head in respect of Arie as a knight who was more senior than him.
"Tchh.." Arie threw away his sight.
Amidst their conversation, a soldier walked into the tent and gave information to all of them.
The information was about the 100,000 troops currently sailing towards the port of Upang city, it was located to the west of the island of Cebes and the troops would then head to the city of Kander by land after the troops arrived at the port city of Upang.
The army was led directly by the Great knight of the kingdom of Nusantara Rein Wijaya.
"Well!
"100.000!?"
"Mr Rein."
"Gee.. That much.
The knights who were in the tent began to boisterously.
"What did the king think. Why send that many troops to this place!," Depone frowned in confusion at the decision of king Jolang.
Meanwhile..
In a place never touched by sunlight.. A place where there is no laughter or happiness.. A place by the demons they call home..
