Theo did not expect that he would return to this place after so long. A cafe full of memories of someone. The memories that if only he could, he wanted to bury those memories forever. In order to do so, he returned to this place. To remember all the memories that always managed to bring regret in his heart for the last time. Before he actually buried those memories. Before he really opened a new chapter in his life.

He ordered a cup of hot espresso, then sat down at a table near the barista. Both beads of his eyes looked around while trying to remember the atmosphere of the cafe at that time. A lot has changed, and so has the relationship. However, this change of cafe certainly makes it look better. Not with her who actually gets messy when the status of the lover turns into a friend or even a stranger. There was not much he did there, just nostalgic while occasionally sipping a bitter-tasting espresso on his tongue. He just wants to keep quiet and daydream about the past before letting go of everything.

His daydreams instantly froze when he heard the clink of the bell as a result of someone pushing the door of the cafe. His gaze was spontaneously glanced and made him freeze instantly. Without feeling noticed, someone who had just arrived was going to the cashier table to order. The woman then circulated her gaze, looking for a place that was still empty. At that time, the woman's eye bead accidentally saturates with Theo's eye bead. The two seem to be jolted by a coincidence that accidentally reunites them. Instead of approaching, the woman turned away and sat back to Theo.

The woman's behavior made Theo immediately smile bitterly. As a friend it shouldn't be, right? Is that their relationship now? He was eager to approach his former lover, but both of his legs refused to stand up. Part of him forbids, but his heart cannot lie. The feeling of longing instantly overflowed. This meeting re-established his hopes for all the things he had long since given up.

Theo downed his espresso in one gulp, hoping that the bitter espresso made him remember the bitterness of life and destroy all his hopes for the umpteenth time. However, it was undeniable that in his heart, he was eager to approach the girl. Talk to him, at least for the last time. Perhaps Theo still wanted a clearer answer than the loss of contact between the two of them.

After various considerations, he got up from his seat and approached the girl. Coincidentally along with the barista who brought the order of the woman who was then taken over by Theo.

"Please, brother," he said quietly, not yet aware of the strange happening.

"Old time, huh, Na?" reply Theo. He went to the chair in front of the woman and sat down without welcome.

The woman called Na was flinched. He took his eyes off his reading book to make sure the owner of the voice was not the one he had just seen.

Theo worked on his smile as the girl before him looked at him. "Go! We have nothing to do anymore" said the girl coldly.

Theo let out a heavy breath. He knew very well the response of his former lover would definitely not be friendly, but still the cold tone that came out of his mouth pierced his heart. "I know, but there's no harm in having friends, right?" tanya Theo tries to feel ordinary like a friend.

All of a sudden, the girl closed her book hard. His gaze stared intently at Theo, but not a word came out of his lips. Theo felt that it was code for him to talk.

"I miss you, Na. Every morning I look forward to your notifications. Every day I always hope to hear your voice again on the phone. I want to call you first, but I'm too scared because I know I'm selfish and mean to you. I hope you know what I'm talking about," Theo says all his feelings in a hurry for fear that this girl in front of him will cut off his conversation, "i.e., today, I want to forget everything, but now you show up here. The universe doesn't want me to forget because..." Theo stopped his words. I'm not sure if he should say it or not.

The girl remained silent. He grabbed a straw and drank his ice cappuccino. Meanwhile, Theo played both of his hands on the table with his head lowered. He felt he had to wait for his interlocutor to open his voice and respond to his words. Although he did not finish his last sentence, he was sure that this woman understood exactly what he meant.

"Because you think that I still have a taste for you? Sorry, Theo! Maybe the universe brought us together again not to unite us again, but to straighten out what happened and what will happen next" said the girl in a more friendly tone.

"You mean?" Theo asked as he looked at the girl before him with a confused look mixed in frustration. Theo should know the answer without asking, but he chose to pretend and deny the reality that befell him.

"I mean, you have to forget everything because I did too. Next, we better not meet. Even if you do not accidentally meet, it is better not to say hello again. Strangers' status will be easier for both of us." The girl immediately got up from her stool after finishing with her words. He did not even feel the need to bother to hear the opinions of his interlocutors. He just left.

There's nothing left

Only regret in heart

Because let it go

Now, I'm alone again

There will be no more sweet words

Or smile or greet

Everything changes, changes

Stranger incarnated the right word already

Karma never disappears from the surface

I'll bury him deep

Forgetting everything is amnesia

Until you get back to me

Until you hold my hand

I must have done it

For you, for me, for both of us

Theo remained silent in his seat for the next few minutes. His gaze fell on the cappuccino that was still half left. The woman even left her favorite coffee only because she was fed up with it. The girl did not like his existence. The only reason the girl didn't leave right away was to end this relationship, again. And this time it's really over. Theo is reluctant to forget, but he has no choice. He really had to bury everything about her, just like his initial intention before that brief meeting happened.
