People say, the house should be the most comfortable place for everyone where they can regroup with their loved ones. People say, home should be a place to go home to relieve fatigue due to the outside world. Yes, it should have been, but Keala never found such a house.
Keala, a college girl is super busy and very active, whether on campus or off campus. There was never a holiday on his calendar. Every day, he would always meet with people making him rarely in his room. After all, he never thought to stop. It was the only way to escape the loneliness that supported her narrow chamber. Run away from the real fatigue.
Death first claimed the lives of Keala's parents through an accident. Since then, Keala who is still in high school must swallow the sadness and loneliness in her life. Her pleasure of being an only child faded away. He often dreams of having a brother he will never get, making himself feel even more miserable.
After a year of living in his uncle's house and depending on him, Keala finally decided to get out of the house. After all, he has graduated High School. It was already able to take care of itself, nor was it possible for him to constantly trouble his uncles and aunts, even though they did not feel bothered at all. Time to live independently by living in an index room located not far from the campus.
Keala's life after leaving her uncle's house was a complete mess. No one wakes him up every morning to keep him from being late. No more food after he came home. No more pocket money that he got every month. No more sounds that can keep his brain sane. It was this that Keala realized that she could not go back to her room. He also could not return to his uncle's house after leaving. Therefore, the only way to keep his mind sane is to look for noise. Not the noise in his mind, but the noise from outside his head.
Keala was sincerely grateful for the tasks of ospek that piled up to sometimes make him sleepless. The busyness makes Keala forget the loneliness and silence that he always tried to avoid. Because when the silence struck, the voices in his head again scrambled to take over his senses.
That busyness doesn't last long. Fortunately, Keala had planned something else that could make her free from the lonely confinement. He managed to get a part-time job at one of the minimarkets near his campus. After college from morning to afternoon, then continued by working part-time which is enough to cut the time 24 hours. Not to mention the college assignments that were ensured to be enough to spend the rest of his lonely nights.
The rush became even more when Keala entered the third semester. He tried all organizational and organizational activities on his campus. Not infrequently Keala did not have time to just close his eyes until his eye bags were exactly like pandas. Whatever his body was, he never complained. He really knows the consequences of all his crazy decisions. But fuck all that. Keala needs to keep her alive.
The streets are closed in silence
Two vehicles hit each other
Under the darkness of night
Presenting unimaginable sobs
From someone who was abandoned
Warm house every day
Change the loneliness that is always avoided
His whole life was as dark as night
His eyes never escaped from the crying
He kept running, looking back
A house that has been gone a long time
The house he always looks forward to
Single-handedly
In silence and silence
The voice of mind
Take away the rest of sanity
He tried to hold on
Seeking all busyness
At night, he just needs to sleep
However, until the end, Keala never found the house he was looking for. Even until he graduated from college, there was no comfortable home he lived in. At least, that's what he thought. Unknowingly, the outside world has become his home. That busyness was his soul that had retained the rest of his sanity. Keala now does not need to feel lonely anymore. Although he does not know it yet, but one day he will realize it by himself.
Yes, the house does not always have to be in the form of a house, right? It does not always have to have a roof to shelter or a door that can be opened and closed. Home is not only a matter of place, but also a matter of feeling that brings us home without having to feel fear or worry. A feeling where we know that there we will be fine.
