She's Anna

I have a friend, her name is Anna. I think he's a really nice person to everyone, even if everyone who's met him for the first time will think negatively about him, including myself. It was because his face seemed antagonistic and spoke little. However, believe me, Anna is a kind, caring, quite humorous, and smart person. Although, when his anger is running high, he can become very violent.

One day, he made a video call to me at night around nine. Things he'd never done to me before in a two-year friendship. Anna was not a person who would rather talk to a phone, let alone a video call. He is more comfortable speaking in writing or text.

Because suddenly he was like that, of course I was quick to lift him up. Immediately greet him happy and surprised after connecting with him. Really, I was surprised. She cried. Things he never showed me or anyone else.

"Gis, I'm tired, Gis. I don't think there's anyone more sincere than you, Gis. I want revenge on them, the people I hate. But, I can't. I can't bear to. I don't dare. I'm afraid." he said with a sobbing that grew louder as he arrived at the end of the sentence.

I just stared at him with a worried and concerned look. I was still waiting for him to ease his unrelenting cries. I want him to tell me everything before I finally say. He is strong, I said in my heart.

Anna, the one who never cries in front of anyone.

Anna, the one who never told me the problem and always kept it alone.

Anna who is always good to everyone turns out to hate others.

Sure oes. Anna is still a human, not an alien. Every human being has hated and held a grudge. Honestly, I never imagined she'd say something like this.

"Rubby, Gis. Tired of being someone who can't resist others. Tired so a person who always cares more about others than yourself" he said while wiping his tears that did not stop pouring.

"For a long time, I never wanted to and could tell my problems to others. Everyone is creepy, Gis. They just pretend to care, but they don't listen at all. You're different from them, Gis. From the beginning, I was sure you could be the person I really trusted. Sorry if I never told you anything before. I was scared and now I try. Don't betray me, will you, Gis?"

"Anna, I'm the one who's sorry. I never want to hear from you. I never tried to figure out your problem. You're great, An. You're powerful. If I were in your position, maybe the story would be different. If you're tired, rest. No need to answer their needs if you don't want to. Gapapa, you still have me. We'll start the same from now on." I smiled at him and he returned my smile just as sincere.

We talked about random things until the night got late. I ended my conversation with Anna at eleven o'clock in the night because I was already sleepy.

"Anggis is Anna's best friend. Good night and good dreams." she said with a smile on her teeth.

His eyes that were pouring down heavy rain had already disappeared completely from his face. At least, for now. I know he still keeps a lot of his problems alone. And, the thing he said just now was only a small part of it.

He was like an angel

With a gift or talent

He can be the greatest man

Showing a smile on the face

Trying to always be strong

Even though his heart was broken often

Stand up without any wavering

Humans are full of mysteries

Keep all the cringe

Stabbing endlessly like a thorn

Enjoying alone is like a dance

Now, that smile is sincere

His eyes are no longer empty

Always looking straight

Deaf with his name is a lie

Smile until the eyes are narrow

He has fully risen

Against difficult times

Sparrow cage free
