“Where are you?” the voice that was heard when Kala answered the call from Yudhistira, there was no stale base like a child with his father.
“School.” Short, Kala was reluctant to mince words. He could talk for hours with Lukman.
“At School?” Yudhistira smiled cynically at Kala's reply. “Where is it possible at School but your behavior is like a thug?” Yudistrira was clearly insinuating Kala.
When she smiles back in her heart. He could have guessed that Demian must have complained no-no to Yudhishthira and that was common.
“I won't apologize, so there's no need to expect anything.” Kala said firmly, before Yudhishthira ruled him with many things.
“CALANTARA!” snapping Yudhistira while hitting his desk with a round fist. The woman in front of him was stunned and could not stop her crying after Demian sent a photo of her hand that was injured because of Kala.
“APologize to Demian, or you will know the consequences.” A threat that Kala later obtained. He knew exactly that Yudhishthira was angry, only the mockery and threat he would hear. Wait, when did Yudhishthira not get angry with him? Hasn't it been since Kala ruined his parents' wedding, that Yudhishthira has always been hostile to him?
“Finely, get to know your stepson better, just decide who should apologize.” Kala remained adamant about his decision.
“Fuck you Kala! How dare you challenge me?!” yudhistira's voice echoed in Kala's ears. Kala just scrunched his forehead and kept the flat object away from his ears. Without a long ride, he turned off the call. It's not important according to him.
After calling Yudhisthira, Kala continued his steps towards the classroom. He still smiled sinisterly and then his gaze turned sharp as he recalled what Yudhistira had said just a moment ago. Again, the man trusted his stepson more than Kala. Yeah, it's always like that.
Just about to arrive in front of her class, Kala's phone rings again. His ringtone was different from usual and made Kala immediately answer him.
“Ya, Mah.” Bertha contacted him.
“Kal, what's in School?” Bertha asked directly at the core of the problem.
Kala breathed a rough breath while leaning against the classroom wall. He forgot that after fighting Yudhishthira, it was Bertha who would be pressured to impose her will.
“He hurt himself, not me.” The answer was enough by Kala.
Bertha did not climb over, she got up from her seat and looked at the view outside her window. His heart was worried thinking about Kala. He believed Kala had not hurt Demian but according to Yudhishthira, Kala remained guilty of challenging his half-brother.
“You don't trust me?” Kala continued the sentence full of doubt on Bertha.
“Mah!” Kala did not accept. “I don't admit anything to him. I told him he hurt himself. Why should I apologize for making a mistake I didn't make?” It's getting inflamed.
“Kal, please. Don't make your papah file a custody battle with Mamah. Mama can't fight that. You know, papah you are very ready to drop Mamah by assuming he is better able to educate you. The more mistakes you make, the more you have the upper hand. Please help Mamah, Kal.” Bertha sounded desperate. This was the threat Yudhishthira had given him.
“Can you, Kal?” The woman half begged her son.
“Ya, later I will apologize.” Kala finally gave up. Again, he had to restrain his ego in order not to make his mother feel intimidated.
“Great son of Mamah. Thank you, Son. When you have to remember, apologizing first does not necessarily make you look inferior to others. Yes, Nak?” Bertha looked relieved.
When he did not lick, his heart was scratched again every time he heard Yudhishthira threatening his mother and making him have to give up. His hatred grew even more as the man pressed the woman he had hurt and left without any explanation.
The call was ended by Kala. He entered the classroom and stood in front of Demian. The teenager seemed to be sitting quietly at his desk, reading the lessons he would get now. His bandaged hand may have been so badly injured that he could not use his right hand to write.
“Sorry,” says Kala without hesitation. Let's just say this is a way for Yudhishthira to no longer put pressure on Bertha.
Demian did not reply, the teenager only fell silent with a triumphant smile that he was trying to hide. Not from Kala, but from a girl who was staring at them worriedly. Worried that the two were fighting again.
Feeling that what he was doing was enough, Kala returned to his desk. He gets a smile from Kinanti as well as a thumbs up.
“You are great Kal,” whispered Kinanti while covering half her mouth with a palm. Until only a faint sound was heard.
“Practice me good food,” timpal Kala.
“Okey! I'll buy Pakde.” meatballs The girl nodded with spirit.
Kala only smiled slightly, before then choosing to cross her side and drop her head on top of both hands. It took him a while to make peace with himself.
