“Kala! Wait Kal!” Kinanti called out to Kala who walked quickly up the stairs towards the rooftop. The teenage boy was still very upset over what happened in the Canteen.
“Kala, stop for a moment.” Half-running, Kinanti caught up with Kala, climbed the stairs faster than the teenager and stood up, blocking Kala. He was on one of the stairs higher than Kala until their position was quite parallel.
“Kal, I call you,” said Kinanti after Kala's step stopped. His breathing was breathless.
When he did not chim in, he threw away the face of Kinanti. His face was still red with annoyance. His hands are still clenched. Kinanti could understand that his best friend was angry but the reason for Kala's anger was because of the actions he made himself.
“Can we talk? Or do you still need time?” the look in Kinanti's eyes stared fixedly at Kala. He still doesn't think. I don't know what went wrong that made Kala so inflamed when she saw him sitting next to Demian.
“Speak if you want to talk. I don't want to argue anymore.” Kala kept looking in any direction, occasionally looking down while watching his own hands clenching strongly.
The pretty virgin pink lips gave a small smile. Unexpectedly, both of his hands cupped Kala's face and then led him straight to look at Kinanti.
“I'd rather talk this way. See the look in each other's eyes.” His words were slow and full of calm.
When not immediately chimed in, he just stared fixed pair of clear eyes that looked at him attentively as well as a pair of hands that felt warm touching his face. His originally fast breathing roar from holding back the rising anger, was now slowly changing slowly. His heartbeats began to be controlled even though he was still pounding quickly with a different rhythm. Like the center of Kala's life in his chest cavity this understands, when he thumped for Kinanti and when to spread for other things.
DUBDUBDUBDUB, as the heart sounds Kala before. Then now, Dub Dub Dub Dub, tight yet regular and comfortable, does not make his chest cavity feel tight.
“It's better?” Like being able to read the difference Kala felt. Maybe from the breath of Kala who had not roared full of anger like that. He must admit that he knows enough about every little change in Kala.
When he nodded slowly, he was better.
“Okey, let's talk at rooftop.” Kinanti turned around, he walked first in front of Kala. Kala followed him with a slower pace while thinking, how could the touch of Kinanti's hand make his heart calmer? He also touched his warm face. His frustration eased slightly as he realized that Kinanti had chosen to accompany him.
Of course, Kala felt victorious from Demian whom he hated so much. He also followed Kinanti to immediately arrive at the rooftop.
Arriving at the rooftop, Kinanti had already sat first in her rubber seat. There was a big box that he used as a table and put food there. His small hand thrust a drinking bottle at Kala.
“Thanks,” says Kala. He immediately took the bottle. She needs to take a sip of cooler water for her feelings to improve.
“Sit. You haven't eaten.” With the corner of her pretty eyes, the sweet virgin pointed at the chair across the side.
As he said, he sat in front of Kinanti. Sipping again his drink without taking his eyes off the girl who was smiling little at him. After feeling more relieved, he put the bottle on the box that became his desk with Kinanti.
“We don't have any heavy food, eat this first. After school, we look for snacks that are more filling okey?” listen, the voice of her persuasion makes Kala melt.
Kala didn't chim. He took the chocolate biscuit in front of him and ate it.
“You're like a little boy. The chocolate granules are scattered on the chin.” The rubbing of Kala's chin gently, while smiling makes Kala's heart beat back erratic. The handsome teenager took his eyes off of Kinanti, his heart getting more and more insecure as the virgin smiled.
The five biscuits had already moved into Kala's stomach. His stomach was slightly shaken. Kinanti smiled with relief because in the end Kala could look calm again.
“She, invited me to study the group as the time for the Olympics drew near, about four more days. So we need stabilization.” Kinanti chose not to mention Demian by name, waiting until Kala was completely calm.
“Why should we talk about it in the Canteen? The cafeteria is not a place to discuss lessons.” The protest was what Kinanti heard next.
“Yes, I know. It's just that, maybe because we were just more comfortable talking about lessons everywhere, forgetting that the Canteen was a place to eat. Thank you for writing, Kal.” The smile was re-engraved for Kala.
“Can-can you feel comfortable with him. You don't know what the real face of that son of a bitch looks like!” Kala showed back his frustration at the figure of Demian who always tried to take whatever was near him.
“Kal, Okey, I agree that you know him better than me. But Kal, I'm the same Demian doesn't have any problems. We are fine and lessons are important to discuss. Can't you just force me to be hostile to him?"
"My view is the same you are different for Demian and I respect your point of view about him. But, please respect also my point of view towards Demian. I can't hate someone for no reason. He didn't make a mistake with me, although I know, he always makes you uncomfortable. But in this case, can you tell the difference?”
Kinanti stared intently at the teenager in front of her. He hoped Kala would understand his words.
“I have no right to tell you to hate someone for no reason. His fault is the same as mine and I should not bring you in my problems as him. But it seems, you have to see for yourself what the child really looks like. I'm sure you'll see Demian's real face sooner. Victim playing. Be careful!” Kala worried and gave a message at the same time, for Kinanti.
“Thank you for reminding me, I will pay attention to that.” That's the only thing Kinanti said.
“Can we go back to class? Soon Mr Jack's lesson begins,” said Kinanti as she looked at the clock in her hand.
“Okey, but promise me that today you will accompany me looking for snacks, my stomach is still hungry.”
“Okey!” kinanti's right thumb held in agreement with Kala.
“Yuk us to class!” the girl moved first while pulling Kala's hand. When shocked and ready to stand up without protest. His heart was again stung by an electric current from Kinanti's hand and made him pulsate amused. But it seems like Kinanti is mediocre. Ha, this sucks.
A phone call rang out from inside the pocket of Kala's pants. The teenager immediately checked it and it turned out that the name that appeared was Yudhistira.
“Down first, I'll follow.” Forced Kala to let go of Kinanti's hand.
“Okey. I'm waiting in class.” The girl walked first to leave Kala, while Kala still steadied his heart to answer Yudhishthira's call.
What the hell is this?
