The Secret With Bad Boy

The Secret With Bad Boy
Father's sorrow

A girl sat on the porch of the house restlessly. Many times he stood up to just check the streets, find out if Lukman had approached or was still far away?

I don't know where his father is now, because he couldn't be contacted. Kinanti's feelings are not because Lukman has promised that he will not come home late. But it was eight o'clock that the man had not yet arrived.

“Where is that anyway? How did everything die?”

Kinanti muttered softly. He stood up again, walked back and forth and looked back at the deserted alleyway. The longer, the more worried Kinanti was about her father.

“Tet tet!” the sound of a car horn makes Kinanti smile rise.

“Dad!” Kinanti immediately opened the gate so that Lukman could enter.

Lukman lowered his window as he watched his daughter wait in front of the house.

“What's dad's son?” lukman asked as he got out of the car.

“Waituin dad! Dad how long?” Kinanti immediately hugged her father tightly.

“Yes dad had business earlier on the road. By the way, Kinan why wear a mask? Father's son has a fever?” Lukman rubbed Kinanti's head, worried that her daughter had a fever.

“Yes dad, I kind of flu. So wear a mask, fear nular to father.”

This time he lied. He immediately took off his embrace and was a little bit distant with Lukman. To be honest, he was forced to do this because he had to cover up the scratches and bruises on his cheeks due to Frea's punches this afternoon.

“Daddy is also really red nose? Flu too huh?” He asked Lukman.

“Oh no, just sneezing. Ordinary, lots of dust. Let's go in.” Take Lukman.

“Iya father.” They went into the house together.

Kinanti gave a glass of warm tea to Lukman, a drink he used to make for his father to keep his body warm.

“Please love.” Lukman gladly received the glass from Kinanti, then sipped the drink slowly.

“Hah, delicious. dad's nose plong.” Said Lukman who could breathe a sigh of relief.

“Thank God. Dad just take a warm bath, let Kinan masakin first.”

“Eh, no need. I don't think Dad's gonna take a shower. Fear of catching wind.” Lukman quickly banned it.

“Okey, but a little bit, let's not smell acem.” Kinanti covered her nose with Lukman's wound.

“Hahahah.. yes, nak.” Lukman nodded obediently.

Kinanti went to the kitchen and prepared hot water for Lukman. While preparing everything he continued to chatter.

“Kinan cook tempe in flourin, dad's favorite. There is also tomato sauce fried fish. I will eat before going to bed. Fear of worms in the stomach of the father revolted asking for food.” Her great-grandson from the kitchen.

Lukman did not chimed in, he just smiled as he looked at Kinanti who walked around preparing everything deftly.

“Kinan also buy tofu, I've stored it in the refrigerator. Tomorrow morning we have breakfast with fried tofu with soy sauce. Heemmmhh, I think it'll be good. Uh yes, tell me without forgetting.” The chatter made Lukman smile.

He let Kinanti chatter so that the night did not feel lonely. The sound of his cell phone was ringing softly and Lukman immediately checked it. There was a message coming in.

He stared at the message, there was a fear that the results of the examination turned out to be bad.

Lukman still remembers exactly what happened today. When he came to the clinic and the doctor who examined him said,

“There is a lump in the respiratory tract of the father. I suggest you check him immediately to the hospital.”

At that time, Lukman's body felt weak like there was no energy. Bad thoughts have filled his mind and increasingly become when doctors at the hospital say that there is a possibility of a tumor or something like that makes Lukman as if often exposed to the flu and nosebleeds also coughing up blood. His head was often painful and the worst condition he faced was the alleged doctor who said that the lump might be malignant and named nasopharyngeal cancer.

Lukman's legs are about to fall. Hearing Kinanti chattering and occasionally laughing, even made her feel sad. He was very afraid because he never knew how much longer he could enjoy with his beloved daughter.

What would happen to her daughter if she left first? Will Kinar keep smiling that bright?

“Dad, dad was horrified Kinan no heck?”

Kinanti shook her hand in front of Lukman's face. This man looked at her, watching her but not really listening to what Kinanti said. His attention was only one, on the fear he had in mind.

“Ayaaahhhh ..” again Kinanti called Lukman and made the man stunned.

“I-iya son?” he was really shocked and immediately put his phone in his pocket. He was afraid that Kinanti would read his message.

“Dad why the hell? How to dream?” Kinanti sat before Lukman and looked at the pale face full of attention.

Beside him he had prepared water in place to wipe Lukman's body.

“Nothing, just dad thought of something at work.”

Lukman had to lie. He was not ready to say anything to his daughter. Including saying that all day he actually did not work, but underwent a series of examinations at the hospital and just finished this afternoon.

“Dad tired huh? Help me with my face wash, huh?” Kinanti looked at Lukman attentively.

“Iya nak.” Lukman endured his cries. Especially when Kinanti's hand that was no longer tiny, rubbed her face gently.

Lukman bowed, not daring to look at the pair of eyes that sparkled lovingly and attentively at him. He was afraid if then Kinanti asked, “How are you today?”

Really, he had not prepared any answer other than another lie to cover up the previous lie.

“Pad sweats a lot. Sorry Kinan ya dad, Kinan even make dad work too hard for Kinan.” Say Kinanti while massaging Lukman's shoulders and arms.

“What by the way, this Kinan? You can still work for both of us. Dad is also proud to be able to send Kinan to a good school.” Lukman tried to comfort Kinanti and himself.

“Daddy order, Kinan study earnestly huh son. Dad's not a rich man. Father can not bequeath the wealth that is abundant for Kinan other than doing the best effort of father so that Kinan can go to a good school and get useful knowledge for the future of Kinan later.” Lukman said really.

Kinanti smiled slightly. He grabbed Lukman's hand, rubbed it gently and kissed him affectionately.

“Kinan must have meant it to dad, because Kinan wanted to boast of dad. Healthy father always yes, accompany Kinan to adulthood and can make father happy. Kinan also wants to see a happy father in his old age. Not working hard anymore. Okay dad?” Kinanti pointed her thumb at Lukman.

Lukman didn't chim in, his tongue was too faint to speak. He only smiled once and rubbed his daughter's head fondly. Kinanti's smile was the most efficacious medicine for him right now. He hopes he can see this smile longer than the doctor's diagnosis later.
