“KINANTI! THE KINANTI! KINANTI!!” exclaimed the students one class a moment ago when Kinanti managed to wait for Frea in answering questions.
That one class was made boisterous by the sound of clapping hands for Kinanti. He also got a tiara made from paper as a form of appreciation for the success of Kinanti beat Frea in terms of lessons.
“You remember the same agreement we?” Kinanti reached out her hand asking for back the form paper that was almost torn by Frea.
“Gue never broke my own promise.” Forced Frea to return the form with a feeling of annoyance.
“Yeaaahhh!!!” exclaimed fellow classmate Kinanti, when finally the form returned to the hands of its owner.
“Still Frea. I hope, you will prepare a good yeal-yeal to support me and Demian,”, Kinanti told her rival.
Frea only snorted annoyed because he was forced to follow Kinanti's will to support him in the Olympics later.
Euphoria was still felt by Kinanti and Kala until finally they chose to pull out of the class and go to the rooftop. They still laugh and feel the happiness of successfully surpassing Frea.
“You did well. I did not expect that you would reply to Frea in such a way,” praise Kala when they have arrived at the rooftop and sit on a rubber chair.
Kinanti just smiled, feeling relief because she could finally study quietly without any further interference from Frea.
“As you said, I can't let others humble me. So I made him show that I was superior to him in front of a lot of people. I'm bad at Kal?” Kintanti asked Kala.
Kala shook her head. “Obviously not bad. If I was in your position, maybe I would play with him until one of us is bald,” timpal Kala.
“Hahahaha .. it's too evil Kal. Frea is our friend, too. We should try to remind him that what he did was wrong.” Kinanti said firmly.
“Yes, you are right. But you do not forget, the person you consider temen, not necessarily think of you as a temen. It could be that he positioned you as his opponent.” Kala chimed with sarcasm. He remembered his friendship with Demian first.
Kinanti did not agree or refute Kala's sentence, she just looked at Kala from the side and saw her annoyed face.
“I consider you friend, do you also consider me friend?” Kinta asked curiously. He wanted Kala to take his mind off Demian.
Kala smiled a little and then looked at Kinanti. They looked at him for a while.
“Jawab me,” challenge Kinanti. He could see Kala who was smiling a little along with her slightly reddened face.
Not the answer Kinanti received but a gentle swipe on her face from the wide palm of Kala's hand.
“Ish, Kala! Your hands cover all parts of my face, tau.” Kinanti screeched in annoyance.
“Yes anyhow why do you give me stupid questions!” he rubbed Kinanti's head.
He chose to get out of his place and stand up straight while throwing his breath rough. He also rubbed his chest that again thumped like last night while looking at Kinanti's room from a distance.
“My teacher said there are no stupid questions, only we can not read the direction or understand the question.” Kinanti moved from her place and stood beside Kala.
“Indeed that question should be understood?” Kala looked at Kinanti who was staring far ahead there.
“Ya, of course.” The girl said seriously.
“Misal, question word function what is it show the question about the object. The question word who asks about people and other forms of question words indicates their respective functions. We can answer clearly because the direction of the question is clear.”
“But sometimes, there are questions that use question words but you can not answer carelessly. You can't define that question to show people, something or something. Such a question cannot be answered with logic but with feelings.”
“Ish, laugh again. Ngeselin akh! Now I'm sure, if I'm the only one who thinks you're. While I, akh be it. I'm lazy language!”
Kinanti chose to pass away leaving Kala.
“Eh, wait!” suddenly Kala pulled Kinanti's hand until stunned and attracted towards her.
“Buk!”
Kinanti smashed Kala's body almost to fall. Reflexes hold onto both of Kinanti's shoulders until they stand face to face at a very close distance. Kala could see Kinanti's eyes barking in shock. While his cheeks felt warm and his body was like storing embers on his chest.
They were both silent for a moment, feeling a strange sigh that flowed the blood of the two. Until then Kala said,
“Sa-kit,” he said slowly.
Kinanti scrunched her forehead not understanding. Then Kala looked down and Kinanti followed him. His eyes widened when he realized that Kinanti was stepping on Kala's feet.
“Gosh! Sorry, I don't know.” Kinanti immediately surged away from Kala.
“Ng-nothing.” Kala's sentence suddenly stuttered.
“What's so sick?” kinanti's face turned anxious.
Kala just shook her head. Compared to the leg that is sick because it was stepped on Kinanti more heart that pounded very fast.
“I won't apologize yes, because it's wrong you yourself use my hand pull.” Kinanti immediately turned her face away as she felt that her cheeks were warming. Shame to get a fixed look from Kala like this.
“Nothing. I'm the wrong one. I am the one who sniffs you and draws your hand. Sorry,” Kala extended her hand to Kinanti.
“Hem,” Kinanti replied to Kala's hand in a moment.
“Udah akh us to class. Later in search again.” Quickly Kinanti let go of her hand. His heart is not safe if they keep shaking each other.
When he didn't chimed in, he let Kinanti go first. He looked at Kinanti's shoulder that was getting away and her figure that had almost reached the door of the rooftop, it felt like he was reluctant to be further away.
“Kinan,” suddenly Kala calls Kinanti. The Kinanti step stopped. Somehow he reflexively held his breath as if preparing that Kala would say something.
“You are not only my friend, but you are the one who can make me listen to the opinions and advice of others. What is a suitable nickname for such a relationship?” ask Kala.
Kinanti did not immediately reply, she still had trouble controlling her completely trembling heart. His hands were also suddenly wet and he clenched while holding on to the fringe of the old ash skirt, to hold back his feelings.
“I don't know. I've never read such a term in a textbook,” says Kinanti.
Really he did not dare to turn around let alone have to look at Kala's face. He chose to continue his steps down from the rooftop. He felt this awkward atmosphere he had to end.
"Why did he leave? Did I say it wrong?"
Kala did not understand.
