The Secret With Bad Boy

The Secret With Bad Boy

The sky was no longer the same for Kinanti. The color of the mejikihibiniu had turned dark with the rest of the dark color that still hurt his heart. The orange twilight, only a pile of dense clouds that occasionally showed the reflection of lightning that struck slowly and dripped down the rain of sadness.

Kinanti was conscious even though she was unable to open her eyes. His head still felt heavy, but his body was still very light like there was no energy. In his room, he is accompanied by Bertha and her aunt. They spoke slowly, talking about Lukman and Kinanti. The words that I kissed Kinanti heard as she opened her eyes were,

“Padahan said only tomorrow the chemo plan. But it turns out Lukman has gone first. His request for the same holiday neng Kinan turned out to be the last request. Duh gusti, Lukman really has gone and left a child who still needs affection.”

Neneng's voice was heard accompanied by a deep sobbing of the sadness left by Lukman. He never knew Lukman was sick. He only received a call from Lukman a few days ago, where the man only asked the news of the Neneng family in Bandung and advised the family to take care of Kinanti and still love her. He realized it was Lukman's last message to his family.

Bertha looked at Neneng with empathy. He faithfully rubbed Neneng's back and gave the woman some encouragement. He knows what it's like to lose someone we love so much and it hurts so much.

“It seems, I can not leave neng Kinan alone in Jakarta. Who's gonna take care of him now? Maybe I should take him to Bandung.” That plan that Neneng revealed while shrinking her tears.

Bertha nods small, “I understand the sadness and loss of Bu Neneng. But my advice, you should ask first Kinantai. He must have his own desires that we should not forbid. He is still grieving, it is our obligation to understand him.” Bertha tried to remind and Kinanti's chest felt warm hearing that sentence. Like Kala, the woman was very understanding.

“Iyaa, I understand. I will not be mean either. Just the name of the parents, must be wary of leaving girls alone in a big city like this.” Neneng rubbed Kinanti's weak hand.

Kinanti knew Neneng was worried about him a lot. But he promised himself that he would not leave this house. This house became the first house that he and Lukman had. He promised that he would take good care of the house and would not leave it.

The gray sky belonging to Kinanti lasted quite a long time. The present day is not as happy as before. Although he was able to accept the departure of Lukman but the empty space in his heart was not easy to fill.

For forty days, Kinanti accompanied her family in this house. They held many study events for Lukman that had passed away. Only then did Neneng and the rest of the family decide to return to Bandung.

He persuaded Kinanti to join, but Kinanti refused. The girl insisted on staying in Jakarta and continuing her education which in a while will soon be completed. Replacing Neneng and his family, Kala, Riko and Emili often accompany Kinanti in this house. Emili most often stayed with Kinanti. He said it was more fun to stay at Kinanti's house because there were friends to talk to. While at home, he was alone. Both of her parents travel a lot because of business and it makes Emili lonely.

Gradually, Kinanti began to get used to the absence of Lukman. His three best friends do not stop giving color in Kinanti's dark life. There was a small light that they brought and began to illuminate Kinanti's life. The girl is improving even though she is still trying to manage her life.

“Eemmhhh, really bad at home. But I don't have a uniform. Do you want to go home what is Kal?” Riko wriggled with pleasure then asked Kala who was still finishing one last mouthful of her instant noodles.

“Return. Nyokap again not feeling well,” said Kala. He slightly glanced at Kinanti who was cleaning the bowls and took her to the sink.

Kala soon caught up with him and followed Kinanti into the kitchen. “If I go home, it's okay, Nan?” ask the hesitant Kala to leave Kinanti.

“Yes, it's okay. Kasian aunt Bertha is sick. Last time I said I had a high fever.” Kinanti said calmly while washing the bowl in her hands.

Kala smiled faintly at Kinanti's reply. Since Lukman's departure, Bertha has been in constant communication with Kinanti. In one day, Bertha sent messages to her lover more often than to her own child. Until at home Bertha will discuss is Kinanti. Kala labeled his mother as 'Mamah bucinan Kinan.' Bertha simply laughed whenever she heard the teasing from her son. It is true that getting to know Kinanti more closely made Bertha very fond of the girl.

“You come home, right? Nginep in my house. Mamah must be seneng if you want to nginep there,” refer Kala. He took the bowl from Kinanti's hand and took over the work of washing cutlery. He looked at the girl expectantly.

“Lain times Yes Kal. We're still testing, I want to focus on the same exam.” Kinanti reasoned appropriately.

“The test will stay a day tomorrow again, it's so, we go back to my house yuk!” Kala kept trying to persuade.  Honestly, his feelings were always unsettled every time he left Kinanti alone.

“I think about it first.” The girl still needs time to believe in the person who approached her. The fear of abandonment is still clearly felt.

“Okey, there is always plenty of time for you. Muach!” Spit time to kiss Kinanti's forehead with love. He looked at Kinanti anxiously and the girl just smiled.

Kinanti was very grateful for all the attention of her friends during this time, especially Kala. This teenager had always been the first to pay attention to Kinanti and never tired of giving her spirit. Maybe that is also what makes Kinanti gradually get used to living everything better.
