The River House
XXXVII. I Will Always Love You

Erwin's change of attitude and attitude made Inge worried. Erwin looks agitated. The man was more pensively silent after discussing his lost collection book.

"Win, is that as important as a lost book? You look different," Inge patted Erwin's shoulder slowly.

"Yeah, there are some things that bother me," Erwin replied with a forced smile.

"You want a story?" ask Inge then.

"Emm, not now," Erwin replied briefly.

Vita did not pay attention to the lovers who sat down in front of his bed. He was still engrossed in reading the maroon red book, one of Erwin's collections.

"Damn! This book, this story, deserves to be called a masterpiece. What is the setting of the place that can be clearly described. Even when I read it, I feel like I'm in a place in the story. It's crazy!" muttered Vita with her two sparkling eyeballs.

"Where have you been Vit? How to know now. That book is cool. Even all the series by Zainul Rich Man is always a best seller. There is also a community that specifically discusses the book," said Inge.

"Hey, I want to go out for the wind first" said Erwin listlessly. Without even looking at Inge he directly walked out of the room.

"You guys fighting?" Vita asked, realizing that Erwin's gurgaat had suddenly become strange.

"No. I just gave you rations, too" Inge seemed annoyed.

"Iisshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Until when the hell Nge, you will learn if the durability of a relationship is not just about soan," Vita tries to advise.

"But without 'it' your relationship will feel bland Vit!" refute Inge.

"Au ah! Iha keep why it's so sweet in droves you're kayak depressed like that?" Vita put down the book she was reading.

"Eitherway. Probably because of his lost collection of books" Inge replied. He grunted annoyedly.

"Zainul Rich Man's book is great. But, is it that important? Or is your lover still not able to act mature?" Vita sat down, staring intently at Inge. Inge simply shrugged both of his shoulders, lazily answering.

"Our age is not the time to play games. If you want to find a partner, look for an adult, who is ready to commit," continued Vita.

"So I have to have a boring marriage like Anggun? Looks like a queen, but suffers inwardly. I am ogah Vit. I live only once, I want to enjoy it. Besides you do not smartly advise me, you yourself are still single. We have to be aware, it is difficult to get a good man who is well established in this day and age" Inge argued exasperatedly.

"Hush, watch your mouth! Lower your voice! If Graceful to hear it is not good to know!" Vita glared until her eyeballs protruded out.

The dug dug dug dug

The sound of footsteps away from the guest room. Vita and Inge compactly jumped up and looked out of the room. Anggun figure was seen running small in the living room and disappeared in the hallway towards the dining room.

"Duh, Anggun hear my talk earlier huh?" inge said as he bit his fingernails.

"Kaaann, if you think about it first," Vita shook her head.

"Where's dongg?" Inge looks panicked.

"Yes, later you have to apologize to Anggun," Vita replied as she rubbed Inge's shoulder. Inge just remained silent.

Vita lies back on the bed and opens a maroon red book that makes her curious. Reading the book seemed to hypnotize Vita, his eyes and mind could not move from sentence to sentence by Zainul Rich Man.

Some time playing with the application with the letter F, Inge saw one of the discussion forums of the book Zainul Rich Man. The forum, Rich Man Facts, discussed all the stories Zainul wrote. Only one book that has no reviews there, namely a limited edition book that is said to be printed only 100 copies.

Inge is looking at the book review of the third Rich Man series. The lost Erwin collection series. Inge saw several posts, until he finally read a paragraph from the series' final chapter entitled 'Toxic Relationships.

"Ah, this? So this is what made Erwin nervous," Inge was shocked. He shut his mouth, hiding his surprise.

At that moment, Erwin walked into the house from the front porch. He saw Inge who was engrossed with his HP in the living room. Then, Erwin took a seat next to Inge.

"Win, I know what makes you nervous" Inge whispered.

"What do you mean?" Erwin scrunched his forehead.

Inge thrust his HP, showing the post he was reading. Erwin read it at a glance, then turned to look at Inge. His face turned pale. His expression implies fear.

"It's just a book. A fictional story you know. So, don't put it in the heart," Erwin grabbed Inge's hand, grasping it tightly.

"So you want to hide this? Why Win?" Inge rejected Erwin's hand.

"There is no evidence of. Do not conclude. Please shut up!" Erwin looked at Inge. Her beautiful eyes, they seemed to shake.

"I must meet Anggun. He's my best friend anyway!" Inge stood up from his seat.

"Don't do it!" Erwin snapped restrained. Erwin did not want his voice to be heard by Vita who was in the room.

"Sorry Win, I can't let Graceful be like that!" Inge threw away a face. He twisted his body and immediately walked away leaving Erwin who was still sitting glued to the living room sofa.

Slightly in a hurry, Inge stepped down the hallway towards the second-floor staircase. Inge stopped at the first rung of the stairs. There was doubt in his heart. The HP screen in his grasp still showed the 'Fact Rich Man' forum'.

Once again Inge stared at the HP screen. Repeating reading the post had taken him by surprise. A while later, he felt confident that he should meet Anggun.

As the foot was about to step on the second rung, a soft clap landed on Inge's shoulder. Inge turned his head, and found a familiar figure standing around.

"You what?" inge asked doubtfully.

The figure before Inge did not reply. With a sudden arrival the figure swung his right hand towards Inge's stomach.

Jleebbb

A few drops of thick red liquid soaked the granite floor under the stairs. Inge glared, not expecting what happened to him. His mind was full of questions, why? What the hell's been going on?

The figure retracted his hand for a moment, then swung back towards Inge's already injured stomach. The second attack hit with more force.

Inge didn't have time to complain. His body lost energy suddenly. His knees were limp, his body was shivering with coldness and his vision began to flail. Inge had seen the figure that had attacked him was crying as he pleased.

Before losing consciousness, Inge whispered a sentence in the ear of the figure who had attacked him. Short sentences but able to make the heart that heard it sliced.

"I will always love you."
