With a gun pointed at him, Mak Ijah still looked calm. His face did not change. It was as if the old woman was challenging Bayu to pull the trigger.
"It looks like a gun can't scare you Mak Ijah" Bayu chuckled. He put the gun back in place next to the belt.
"Death is not something I worry about Master," Mak Ijah replied briefly.
"Then what are your worries, Mom?" Bayu asked, his forehead looked wrinkled.
"I'm just worried that Mr. Zainul has failed to achieve his goal" Mak Ijah replied. This time his expression looked sad.
"Zaynul? Who do you mean Zainul? He was just a copycat," Bayu chuckled. His laughter sounded mocking.
"How much do you know, sir?" Mak Ijah glared. This time she looks more expressive.
"Almost everything I know," replied Bayu quickly.
"That means even if you are not on the list, you are a dangerous person. Your mouth should be silenced!" Mak Ijah glared, looking scary.
"Maybe. But you have already released me from the cage," Bayu smiled.
"If needed, I could have snatched you back," Mak Ijah still looked glaring.
"I believe Mak. You and also Mr. Mardoyo are people from the same 'institution'," Bayu squinted his eyes. He seemed to provoke Mak Ijah.
"Suckers! How could you know!" Mak Ijah just suddenly shouted. His voice was loud and shrill.
"It feels good to make you yell and angry Mak. It looks more human. To be honest, I was scared and horrified every time I saw your flat face," Bayu still continued to tease.
Mak Ijah arrived just running. He was about to pounce on the police officer in front of him. Bayu swiftly returned to reach his belt.
DOORRRR
The sound of a gun explosion resounded, deafening. Some forest animals immediately make a sound to each other. Perhaps they were afraid, or surprised to hear a strange sound that had never existed before.
Mak Ijah fell on the floor. There was a thick dark red color liquid that splashed. Mak Ijah grimaced holding his right thigh. A hateful look was directed at Bayu.
"Sorry Mom. I didn't mean to do it" Bayu said casually.
"If you try to thwart Mr. Zainul's cause I will curse you. Even if I can't hurt you, let this old lady's oath make your life less peaceful!" Mak Ijah made his oath of absorbency.
"Wow wow, calm down, Mom. If I want to thwart your Master Zainul's plan, from yesterday I've done it. I already knew almost all of his plans," Bayu crouched down in front of Mak Ijah.
"So, what do you really want?" Mak Ijah looked at Bayu. His eyes were filled with hatred.
"For now I'm just a spectator enjoying the show," Bayu sighed.
"You know Mak, unlike the other guests, I'm not a member of the exkul drama. But I know all about their drama club. A long time ago I was a connoisseur of work. I am a spectator. And I think the drama this time really made me pound. I'm still wondering what the end is," Bayu smiled at a glance.
"Are you not a police officer? How could you possibly allow all the events that have happened in this house?" Mak Ijah looks quite surprised by Bayu's words.
"Neither thou art. How could you let even help the vile behavior of your employer?" Bayu asked back.
"That's because. . .,"
"Because she's your employer. And you owe him!" Sergah Bayu cuts off Mak Ijah's answer.
"Yes and so am I. I also have my own Mr. Zainul Mak Ijah," Bayu stood up again.
Bayu extended his hand to Mak Ijah. The old woman was a little confused, but finally received the helping hand of the man before her. Mak Ijah stood up. His pants look wet with blood stains.
Bayu rushed into the room. Take a towel, then tie it to Mak Ijah's right thigh.
"Show me your room, Mak" said Bayu.
"Huh? You know that too?" Mak Ijah was surprised.
"I just guessed. And looking at your expression, it seemed like my guess was correct," Bayu smiled in satisfaction. Mak Ijah bowed, feeling that he had lost to the police officer.
"Trust me, Mak, I will not disturb the stage of the show from your master" said Bayu reassured.
After a while, finally with the help of Bayu, Mak Ijah went down the stairs. Pain due to hot lead lodged in his old thigh, ignored by Mak Ijah. The woman again showed her flat face.
Arriving at the first floor Mak Ijah walked staggered seok towards the kitchen. From the kitchen he turned right, towards the hallway opposite the bathroom. Bayu walked behind him.
They passed through the warehouse room where the lock storage room was. Mak Ijah and Bayu continued walking down the hallway. Bayu's eyes catch the dried red stain marks on the floor. Definitely not from Mak Ijah's wounds.
They finally reached the end of the hall. There is a room with a closed door.
Kriiettt
A fairly loud creaking sound was heard as Mak Ijah opened the door. Now it looks like a room that is quite spacious, with two beds. One mattress that looks neatly arranged, and the other appears a figure that is lying stiff with a torn wound on his stomach.
"What happened to Mr Mardoyo?" Bayu asked half-screaming.
"He's an ungrateful madman. The old man Mardoyo was about to blackmail Mr. Zainul. Death is indeed worthy to punish him," Mak Ijah replied with his flat face.
"I think this show has deviated from the scenario. Shouldn't Mr Mardoyo be on the list?" Bayu scrunched his forehead.
"Everything can't necessarily go according to plan. The most important thing is that the initial goal can be achieved" Mak Ijah.
"Now show me where the 'walk' is," Bayu looked at Mak Ijah.
Mak Ijah picked up an iron stick in the corner of the room. Then smite the iron stick on a picture of a square box located in the sky. And Bayu smiled with satisfaction, his guess turned out to be true.
Meanwhile, Galang opened his eyes. He woke up in a clean white paint room. At first, he thought he was in the realm of death. However, when he felt aches and pains all over his body Galang realized, he was still breathing the air of the world.
A woman smiled in front of Galang. Beautiful woman, with red lips and clean facial skin without make up.
"Thank God you're awake" said the beautiful woman.
"Who?" Ask Galang lirih. His voice stalled as if he did not want to come out of his throat.
"I'm a village midwife. You are currently in Polindes" said the woman who turned out to be the village midwife.
"Please call the police, hurry! Tell me there's a crime in the Rich Man's house. Woo-villain! Name's Bayu. He's the culprit!" said Galang with the rest of his energy.
The midwife who did not understand the meaning of Galang's words simply fell silent. Galang was once again unconscious. His condition is still very weak.
