38. Angry Ellie

In the morning, the sun began to peek east of the hills. It was not the cock crow that started the morning atmosphere in the house by the river, but a cry that was heard from one of the rooms on the top floor.

The sound of crying from Ellie. Iva hurried out of her room. While the other occupants of the room are invisible stem nose. Tia's room door is open. Iva could see clearly from the doorway, Tia lying stiff on her mattress.

Iva went into the room, shed tears. As with Iva, Tia also came to this riverside house to get the money promised by the rich man. However, the payment was very expensive.Tia had to sacrifice her life.

"Va, how many more people should Va die??" Ellie, rubbed her wet eyes.

"That person should be responsible. Zainul must take responsibility for all this!" Ellie clasped and clenched her right hand tightly.

With a red face extinguished from anger, Ellie walked out of the room. He went to the door of the largest room, the host's room.

Ellie hit the door of the magnificent room violently. He didn't care if his hands had to bleed or get hurt because of his violent blows to the beautiful wood. All he wants is one, Zainul gets out of the room and is responsible for the death of his old high school friend.

"out! Hey Zainul, get out of you!" Ellie screams in fidelity. The veins on his neck looked green wrapped around his pure white skin. Tears were already unstoppable, dripping with the anger that had been seething in the depths of his heart.

There was a sound, like an object falling from inside the Rich Man's room. But there's no answer. It seemed that the host was also reluctant to argue.

Iva caught up with Ellie. She had not expected, Ellie would go on a rampage like that. All this time, Ellie has always been calm under all circumstances. But this time, his emotions had exploded, replacing logic with anger and impatience.

"Hey, stop Ellie. What are you doing?" Iva grabbed Ellie from behind. He slightly forced Ellie to stay away from Zainul's room door.

"It's all because of him Vaaa!" Ellie's still hard to calm down. He pointed at Zainul's room with his index finger that seemed to be shaking.

At that moment, from the bottom floor there were the sound of running footsteps. Mak Ijah came with a sharp look in his eyes. The old woman looked scary with the apron she was wearing seemed to be covered in red liquid.

"What are you doing?!" Mak Ijah glared at Ellie and Iva.

"Get your master out of his room, I want to talk!" Jerky Ellie.

PLLAAAKKKK

A slap flew fiercely over Ellie's cheek. Mak Ijah swung his hand with all his might. Ellie fell down. The corner of his lips felt rattled with blood.

"Please!" Mak Ijah glared, until the circle of his eyeballs looks very prominent out.

"Hey! Do not play rough Mak," said Iva did not accept.

Hearing Iva's words, Mak Ijah turned to look at the playmaker. And once again, Mak Ijah was about to swing his hand with all his might.

"Stop!" A scream came from the stairs.

Turns out Hendra's coming. With half a run and limping legs, he passed the marble staircase. Sweat drenched his black shirt.

Mak Ijah looked down, not continuing his attack on Iva. Ellie was still sitting on the floor holding her bruised cheek. Hendra reached out his hand to help Ellie to stand up.

Ellie was really surprised by Mak Ijah's treatment. Unexpectedly the woman did not hesitate at all to swing a slap. And what makes Ellie more astonished, the old and skinny woman has extraordinary energy. 

"Are you okay, Ellie?" Hendra looked at Ellie's cheek which looked slightly swollen.

"These two women banged on Mr. Zainul's bedroom door" Mak Ijah replied. Mak Ijah's expression was flat, as usual.

"Huh? What are you guys doing?" Hendra asked Iva and Ellie with astonished looks.

"I hope, nothing else bothers Mr. Zainul. Excuse me," said Mak Ijah, immediately inching away.

Hendra looked at the back of Mak Ijah who was walking down the stairs.

"Tia, Tia's gone. He killed Hen. Without being able to help her, I can only mourn her passing" Ellie said.

"Maybe that's best for Ellie. Tia no longer suffers with her pain," Hendra chimed in.

"This is Hendra's human life! You take it too lightly!" Ellie glares.

"There's nothing we can do Ellie. Wasn't the death of a person predestined," Hendra sighed.

"But Zainul invited us here. It's only natural that he's responsible" Ellie persisted in her opinion.

"Already Ell. Calm yourself first. We better get out of this house. Not that I don't care about our dead friend, but the main thing is to save our own lives" Iva said, holding Ellie's hand.

"Where are Norita and Denis?" Ellie suddenly remembered with a beautiful female partner and a local selebgram.

Ellie rushed to Norita's room. A little rudely he knocked on Norita's door. The next few seconds, Norita opened the door hesitantly.

"Ellie?" Norita said as she spread her gaze.

"What's up Nori? Why do you look scared?" Ellie asked.

"I'm sorry. I was just following Denis' advice" Norita replied as she showed the paper in her hand.

Ellie took the paper in Norita's hand and read it.

'Stay in your room Nori. Don't ever come out. I know something. At dawn the lights will go out, and there may be someone trying to visit you. Do not open the door of your room before morning.

Denis'

"Where did Denis know the lights were going to go out?" Ellie frowned.

Hendra and Iva read the letter in Ellie's hand. Ellie then moved to Denis's room. The door was open and the room was empty.

"So, the real villain is Denis?" Hendra asked.

"not necessarily. I'm not sure the letter, it's Denis's handwriting" Ellie replied.

"When did you receive this letter Nori?" Ask Ellie later. Norita walked behind Ellie.

"Last night around 11. I was really scared, because what was written in the letter really happened. Around 2 am, my bedroom door was knocked on, by whom. And then the lights went out. I'm afraid Ellie, I'm really scared. I don't want to die like everyone else" Norita said in fear.

"No. No one else will die. We need to find Denis, get Bayu out of his room, and get the hell out of here!" Ellie said as she looked at her friends one by one.

"I think we should find Denis first. Because the key to Bayu's room door, Denis brought it," Hendra proposed later.

"What do we do for two teams?" Ellie asked, all nodding in agreement.

Without them all realizing there was someone in the host's room. Someone was curled up, looking at the door of the room without being able to do anything.
