The River House

The River House
57. A night in a distant village

At 7 pm, a drizzling drizzle drips down the asphalt road in the district K. A dark blue car was parked on the side of the road, facing a tent from a tarp attached to the sidewalk.

The steaming smoke produces a fragrant and sweet aroma. The combination of spices and soy sauce, able to make anyone who passes by swallow feel hungry. The air is so cold, but the visitors of the tent food stalls are still crowded.

Two police officers were enjoying dinner. Ceker, wings and burnt chicken head are available on the plate. Likewise, the chili is in deep red presented in a large cobek made of clay.

"It really fits. It was raining, it was cold, it was burning, it was drinking jahee. .beeehhhhhh," said Tarji, a police officer who looks good eating his food.

"Jii call Jii. .you don't like to eat three days of your formation" said Adi, a police officer with a handsome and authoritative face.

"But seriously. There was no opponent cooking. It feels good, it can be a lot, too" Tarji spoke with his mouth full.

"Shut up. Squirt all that your mouth," Adi warned, looking a little irritated.

"Aaeeghhhhh," Tarji burped quite loudly, after finishing his dinner.

"Where are we going?" Ask Tarji. Occasionally his mouth hissed because of the spicy taste that was still left in his taste buds.

"Yes go home" Adi said briefly.

"Not going to Sinta?" Tarji smiled wryly.

"If you want to nap, why ngajakin you," replied Adi Lirih.

"By the way, this is the workshop that I just tipped my WA motorbike. Nanyain the owner of the motor is not WA or contact the workshop yes," Adi stared at the android screen.

"Maybe the two young men of the village were again busy Di. Who knows, kann," Tarji responded casually.

"Ah, my hunch is not good," Adi pensively.

"You it if you keep going with a hunch it could be a witch doctor Di," Tarji chuckled.

"The village where the two young men lived was close to the house of the richest man in our district. The author, Rich Man. If only I were that rich, yes" Tarji sipped his wedang gahe slowly.

"Not worth it if. The rich are not necessarily happy life anyway," Adi chimed in.

"Say the Bayu also visited the Rich Man's house. He's on a few days off, right?" Tarji seemed to remember.

"So, he just wanted to visit his brother's house" Adi seemed reluctant to talk about other people. Unlike Tarji who likes to gossip.

"But from the beginning I met the Bayu, somehow I feel that person is a bit strange," added Adi.

"Hadeehh, again with feelings. If I think he is a good person, but every day read books. Yes indeed the book is the window of the world," Tarji shook his head.

"That red-clad book, don't you mean? Even some friends want to borrow can not," Adi chimed, this time Tarji nodded quickly.

"The wood belongs to the best graduates of the academy right? In the test of insight and knowledge you lost to him, didn't Di?" Tarji smiled mockingly.

"Yes, really. I only excelled at physical tests. But actually, the man almost did not pass," Adi this time already affected Tarji, talking about his co-workers one agency.

"Oh yeah, how can you?" Tarji.

"This is how it is, we go to the workshop yuk. Maybe I'd better pay for the reparations first" Adi patted Tarji on the shoulder.

"Hayukkk," said Tarji.

Two police officers rushed into the car. The rain is getting worse. Tarji drives his car to Adi's garage. However, just a few hundred meters, they passed by 3 fire engines at full speed. The sound of his sirens rang out loud, defeating the boisterous sound of the rain.

"Where is there a fire?" Tarji slowed down the speed of his car.

"Not that the way to his village two young men this morning yes," Adi frowned. Not yet had the curiosity answered, Adi and Tarji's HP shook simultaneously. A message came in, from one of the police colleagues on duty at the office.

"What's WA At?" Tarji asked, since he was in a driving state it was impossible to see his HP. But he believes WA is entering simultaneously into his HP and HP Adi, indicating there is an important information or command coming from his instance.

"Turn in Ji's direction" Adi ordered. Tarji immediately stepped on the brakes, and turned the direction of his car.

"Follow the damkar car earlier," continued Adi. Adi and Tarji are informed that the villagers of K found a foreigner who was seriously injured. And now, there is a fire in the forest area of the village.

The night felt so crowded. However, the sound of sirens made the crowd feel gripping. Amidst the rain, several people peeked through the windows of his house. They heat, what is it, the usually quiet sub-district road, now sounds so rowdy.

Tarji's car is parked on a field at the village entrance. Although on the road it rained quite heavily, in fact in the village area there was not a single drop of water that fell from the sky.

"Black smoke from the middle of the Di forest," Tarji pointed at the puff of smoke at the foot of the hill.

"We go to POLINDES Ji, hurry!" Adi rushes, leaving Tarji still standing.

The steep road made the footsteps of the two police officers feel slow. A few times Tarji stumbled upon the pebbles strewn across the road.

"Diamond*n! Gravel gravel jar*n!" Tarji cursed in annoyance.

"Huuss, watch your talk! Don't talk dirty. Remember, where the earth is planted there the sky is upheld," Adi advised. Actually several times his mouth was also about to curse, when his big toe stumbled on a stone.

"I'm niesel Di. Why also I yesterday the car did not make a super. If you know like gini, mending diiarin standard only deh. There will be no gasruk right, we do not need to walk like this," Tarji grumbled. Adi just kept quiet listening. He prefers to focus on his footrest.

After several times Tarji grumbled and spilled his annoyance, they finally arrived at a village chief's office that looked spacious. There's a very big fart in that part of the hall. And next to the office of the village head, stood a small minimalist building with brightly lit lights.

"Well that's the POLINDES" said Adi, while wiping the sweat on his forehead.

There are two women in POLINDES. A village midwife named Nurma and her assistant named Rinda. Adi and Tarji immediately introduced themselves. They also identified him as a police officer.

The village midwife invites Adi and Tarji to see the condition of her unconscious patient. The village midwife also explained where the injured foreign man was found based on what Mr. Kasun told him.

As Adi and Tarji were listening to the midwife's explanation, sayup could be heard crying in the distance.

"What else is this?" Adi rushed out of the room.

In one of the houses not far from Polindes, several people were seen crowding. And the sound of crying can be heard from there.
