The River House

The River House
XLII. Run or come back?

Hearing Anggun conversation and debate with her husband, Vita was not too surprised. From the beginning his feeling did lead to Ferry as a criminal. Vita was well aware, Ferry had never liked the circle of friends of his wife.

Although everything is still ash, it is too early to conclude that Ferry is the villain, but the Anggun accusations that Vita heard earlier are very reasonable. Now, Vita is hesitant and confused about what steps she should take. It's very dangerous if he gets caught eavesdropping.

Vita's inching backwards. Half-run he headed to the kitchen, but apparently no one was there. The back door is wide open. The air blows cold from the dim backyard. Even though the afternoon has not yet come but darkness has enveloped the forest area.

Not wanting to think for long, Vita came out of the kitchen and headed to the backyard. Half-tiered he turned to the front yard of the house and continued to step down the streets. For now, Vita feels the most appropriate choice is to stay away from the riverfront house, away from the figure of Ferry.

Vita doesn't care about the sky getting dark. Staying in the woods is much safer than being with a cold-blooded killer. Although there were 2 police officers in the house but it felt less useful. There have been 3 deaths and 1 person who disappeared, but there has been no meaningful action from the two police officers.

"HP and wallet I've brought. Other items let alone," muttered Vita while checking her pants pocket.

Luckily the footwear that Vita wears is mountain sandals. The path made from the sheer array of stone stones did not interfere with his footsteps. Vita walked half-run, wanting to immediately go away from Anggun's new home.

Remembering his best friend who died in that house. Vita still feels like her life is in a dreamland. It was a nightmare that made it difficult to wake up.

While still stepping, Vita's wishful thinking went back to a few days ago. When Andewi so enthusiastically invite his friends to visit the new house Anggun. No matter what the purpose of Andevi, he was very excited to visit a house that was reportedly in the middle of the forest.

A warmly welcomed invitation by Erfan. Whatever it is with Anggun, Erfan is always excited. Vita was quite surprised until now, he could be friends with the perverted-brained man.

In the end everyone agreed to visit this place in the middle of nowhere. It turns out that death awaits. Now there is only one Vita left, down the dark streets in the middle of the forest.

Vita slowed down. He walked quite far away from the Anggun house. Her throat was dry, her thirst was suffocating, Vita needed water. A little sorry why he didn't ride one of the trail bikes to escape. Instead, he chose to walk so that no one would know of his disappearance.

The trail bike lock is in the room. There is no time to take it, Vita's desire to run away from home appears spontaneously when he sees the back door open. After all, the noise of the tailpipe noisy dirt bike will certainly make people aware. Moreover, Vita doubt not let the occupants of the house not all sane, as well as Ferry.

The novel by Zainul Rich Man that he had read. When a place becomes a scene of terrible crime, the negative aura will spread, and it does not rule out the possibility that everyone who lives in the place will be affected. One of the sentences in the maroon red book, ringing in Vita's mind.

Thirst is getting more painful. Without thinking long Vita jumped out of the main line, and down into the river. The river whose water is sourced from the top of the waterfall around the new house Anggun.

The river water was so clear, reflecting the sky's shadow that it began to tinge reddishly. Vita cupped her hands, took the river water to drink. His long, white, tapered fingers felt extremely cold when coming into contact with water.

The original throat felt dry, now turned cold and fresh. Vita sat on the banks of the river, permeating the relief of her throat. But the relief did not last long.

Someone walked over, with his entire body soaked. Her hair was thick, limp and messy. His eyes were blank, walking barefoot on the steep rocks.

"Erwin?" pekik Vita couldn't believe it.

Erwin's figure with a messy appearance looked like an insane person. He stopped in front of Vita. And just stood there without a word.

"Win, what's wrong with you?" Vita asked back. Erwin is just dumb.

"Win, Inge is dead Win," said Vita, still keeping a distance with Erwin's figure.

Erwin who had just been silent, now suddenly turned to look at Vita. He was crying, his shoulders were shaking. The voiceless cry that looked so painful.

"I attacked Inge Vit. Me, me, I love him. But because of the book, I asked*knya," Erwin said among sobs.

"Huh? Whatchu mean? So, you've made Inge like that?" Vita took a few steps back.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I had dark eyes, like someone was whispering in my ear. I stabbed him twice. I didn't mean to be so hu huu," Erwin cried as he would.

"Your staff Win! I think someone else hurt Inge! Apparently you! You're crazy! You better turn yourself in to the police, "Vita turned around, turned her back to Erwin and immediately swung her legs with all her might.

"I didn't mean to!" Shouted Erwin and immediately came running, chasing after Vita.

"Wait for me, let me explain!" Erwin shouted as he continued running.

Vita won't stop. I don't listen to people who have lost their minds. He jumped out of the river area and returned to the main road.

There was a hint of doubt in Vita's heart. Should he return to the house of Anggun or run until he reached the village of residents.

"Goddessaalll!" Vita shouted as strongly as she could. That's how to get rid of doubts in the heart. Vita decided to return to the Anggun house. Closer distance, made him take that decision.

Vita kept running while occasionally turning her head, making sure Erwin was still chasing her or not. His breath began to sting. Although the air was so cold, but sweat as big as corn seeds began to drip from the temples, neck, and armpits that began to get wet.

"Hah hah," Vita stopped her steps, adjusted her breathing and held onto her trembling knees. The river water that he had just drank, was already dry evaporating with sweat. He went back to torturing his throat.

The sky was blackening, the afternoon was coming. The forest area began to fall. While insects and some nocturnal animals begin to show their voices, the unpretentiousness of the sahutan, echoes deafening.

Vita circulated her gaze, looking for the figure of Erwin who had been chasing after her. Silent and silent, no one. Vita sighed, feeling a little relieved. Vita reached into his pocket, unlocked the screen, and found no signal there.

"Brengsw*k!" vita's wrath is irritated.
