XXVII. Ananta's Ring

After accidentally finding Ali Sabet's body hanging from a terrible condition, Erwin's feelings are not calm. He was very agitated, feeling nauseous and cold sweat poured down his forehead.

Erwin was eager to erase the memory of Ali's deathly pale face from his brain. But the more he tried, then the details of the condition of Ali's corpse increasingly imprinted in Erwin's mind. Both eyeballs are reddened and bulging, also the neck is bent unnaturally.

"Son Erwin?" Mr. Nyoto called. The old man patted Erwin's shoulder slowly. Mr. Nyoto is aware, Erwin is mentally shaken.

"Any right, sir?" Erwin looked surprised.

"My body is a little uncomfortable sir," Erwin replied honestly.

"I don't really care about the dead. Because they're none of my business, not my relatives. What I'm more worried about is the safety of my wife and family. I'm sorry I gave you responsibility! You can't run Erwin!" snapped Ferry.

"What do you mean by Ferry?" Erwin asked not to understand. His head was dizzy, even his vision felt swirling.

"I told you last night, take care of Ibuk and sister. Don't leave their rooms. But it turns out you've been wandering downstairs all night. You useless!" Ferry was angry.

Mr. Nyoto could only lock his mouth tightly. He didn't dare help Erwin. Even though he knew, Erwin was all night trying to take care of everyone who was inside the house.

"Sorry Mas. I admit I was wrong," Erwin looked down inside.

"Remember Win, you still 'piyik' me who feeds. I who was a teenager did not go to school, started a business, for the sake of a better family life. "Excuse me. .huuukkkk!" Erwin ran staggering. Mr. Nyoto was about to catch up but finally sat back down. Ferry glared sharply at him.

Erwin ran to the bathroom. His stomach felt as if it was stirred. When he reached the dining room, the pulse in his head became even more so. He kept it from collapsing by holding on to the wall.

Arriving at the kitchen, he saw Mak Surti cooking. Sitting in a plastic chair, Miko who looks happy playing with her little robot. Erwin smiled wryly. They did not know that two people had died horribly. Erwin hurriedly entered one of the bathroom booths.

"Huuwkkk hooweeekkk," Erwin spewed out his entrails.

There was no food in Erwin's stomach. Only clear liquid came out of his mouth. A liquid that tastes very bitter on the tongue.

After spewing out his empty stomach contents, Erwin sat on a closed toilet. He took a breath for a moment. The throbbing feeling in his temple was already much reduced.

Erwin felt something stuck in his pants pocket. He recalled the ring with the image of Ananta found by Inge in the dining room last night.

After his body condition improved, Erwin came out of the bathroom. He headed to the kitchen and took a large glass of drinking water and downed it to the toilet.

"Son Erwin, if you drink sit dong. Don't stand up like that" Mak Surti advised. His voice sounded calm.

"Eating and drinking should not be abandoned. Mak Surti's symbol first, it's also for our health" Mak Surti continued. Erwin smiled, in his heart confirming Mak Surti's words. Although Mak Surti did not go to high school in the past, it seems that the woman was raised by extraordinary parents.

"Mom, Inge and Vita where?" Ask Erwin then.

"So the lady went straight into the room. Maybe it's still sleeping. It must have been hard to sleep last night. If I sleep well, Mas. Do not know the problem if there is an incident Miss Andewi and Mr. Ali ilang," explained Mak Surti. Mak Surti did not know that Ali was not missing, but died on a rope hanger. Erwin looked up when he recalled the condition of Ali's corpse.

Erwin thought for a moment and then moved from his seat. He briefly randomized Miko's hair with anxiety, before stepping away.

Erwin climbed the stairs to the second floor. He did not head to Bu Rofida's room but instead went to Anggun's room. There's a little fear that Ferry might catch him visiting Anggun in the room. But he felt he had no other choice. He has to make sure of something.

Tok tok tok tok

Erwin knocked on the door slowly. The atmosphere was quiet and silent. At first he doubted Grace was in his room. But a few seconds later came the sound of footsteps being dragged.

When the door opens, it looks Graceful with a random appearance. There were a few drops of sweat on his forehead. I don't know why his breathing sounds so heavy and distant.

"What's Win?" ask Anggun lirih.

Erwin watched Gracefully. Ferry Lawanto's wife is still beautiful, even with a chaotic appearance. Maybe if other people with messy hair will look strange, but not with Grace. That one girl even looks sweet, funny and adorable.

"What Win?" Anggun repeated the question because Erwin just kept silent.

"Ah yes Ma'am," Erwin gasped. He immediately shifted his eyes. Groped the pants pocket, and pulled out a ring symbolized ananta.

"It's Gorgeous Mommy's got, right?" Erwin thrust out a ring in his hand.

"Huh? Where'd you get this?" Gracefully looked surprised. His eyes glare. His expression seemed incredulous.

"Anggun Ma'am last night dropped this ring somewhere downstairs right? What's Anggun Ma'am hanging around downstairs at night for?" Erwin asked, urging Gracefully.

"What do you mean?" Graceful looks confused.

"This is your ring, isn't it?" Tanya Erwin made sure.

"Yes" answered Anggun briefly.

"Please Ma'am, answer my question honestly. Whatever it is I'll help you. I will protect the Mas Ferry family with all my soul and body. So please tell me everything, Ma'am, so that I know what to do next" Erwin sighed.

"For what did Madam Anggun walk the street near Mas Erfan's corpse last night?" Erwin raised his tone.
