33. A Key

A key with a distinctive shape. Has a hanger in the form of a shiny glass decoration. Unique and beautiful keys that are specially prepared for the door in the house of the Rich Man.

"You have a room door key as much as 2 Bay," said Hendra while glaring.

"Ah, and I'm sure this one key is the missing guest room key" Denis chimed in.

Bayu. He feels trapped. Hendra and Denis were also judgmental. Bayu realized, whatever arguments he would make to defend himself, no one would believe him.

"Hey, could that be Bayu's door lock?" Ellie refutes. 

"Note well to Ell. This key is similar to the room key in this house. Lock the room we are currently in. The shape, the decoration, the hangers. I'm sure this is the guest room door key" replied Hendra, showing the key in his hand.

Denis is approaching Bayu. With a piercing sharp gaze, he grabbed Bayu's collar. Bayu just shut up, he chose silence.

"I'm sure you conspired with Mella to kill Yodi and Dipta. Maybe you're planning to go after us, too" Denis with his left hand gripping the lapel of Bayu's shirt. While the right hand is clenched tightly, prepare to hit if Bayu fights.

"See, I don't understand what you're guessing. Even if Bayu is guilty, why would he commit a crime like this? Did you guys forget, he's a police officer?" Ellie tries to calm Denis and Hendra who are already carried away by emotions. 

"I know the motive. You realize, everyone who was invited here has raped Zainul in the past. I know, I know exactly what we all did to Zainul. And I also know, there are two among all the invited guests who have never judged Zainul. The two men are Bayu and Mella," Denis assures.

"Keep why?" Ellie still feels Bayu is not a criminal.

"You sure you asked Ellie? Clearly, Bayu and Mella conspire to avenge Zainul. The two of them may have been friends with Zainul. And they're both here to judge us, avenge Zainul, who's currently in pain helplessly," Denis's face flushed with anger.

"Then, isn't this host a real villain? Couldn't Zainul be said to have masterminded the premeditated murder?" Ellie could not accept Denis explanation.

"I guess the host doesn't know anything about this. It is too early to conclude that the Host is involved in the crime. Could it be that Bayu and Mella have a personal grudge against all of us?" Hendra interrupts Ellie's opinion.

"In that case, let's just ask the guy. Is there anything you want to say to bangs**?" Denis grinned at Bayu.

"I know with a key you found in my room, I'll be the one accused. And whatever my reasons and explanations, I'm not sure you'll listen" Bayu sighed.

"Your babbling makes me dizzy!" Denis annoyed.

Denis pushed Bayu's body as hard as he could. With the condition of the injured leg, Bayu has difficulty maintaining balance, his body slammed onto the floor. Denis continued to push her into the room, then closed the door and locked it.

"What are you doing Denis?" Ellie glared in disbelief at Denis' harsh treatment.

"Let him in his room to reflect. I won't open the door until he confesses his vile deeds!" Denis grunting.

"That's Ell. I know what your relationship with Bayu used to be. But I think you should think logically. The evidence is clear, right? We just need to get Mella and we can calm down. Tomorrow after getting cash, we go straight home. I think that's the best plan for now" said Hendra cynically.

"What do you mean Hen? Bayu has not been proven guilty just for a key. We'd better ask the host. We pounded the door to her room to ask her for information, "Ellie seems upset.

"Hey, you can't do it Ellie," Hendra rebuked.

"Let's be like Ellie. We take the deal by the most votes. Who agrees with my plan? And who would follow you? It is the most votes we have to obey. How's it?" Hendra made an offer. 

"Alright," Ellie nodded in agreement.

"Now, who agrees with my proposal? We go to the Rich Man's room and we ask him about this heinous tragedy in his mansion" Ellie seeks support. Looking at Iva and Norita who had been silent.

Ellie was pretty sure Iva and Norita would agree to her proposal. He thinks Iva and Norita as fellow women will make a decision not only using logic alone but also using their hearts and feelings. And right now, his heart says what Denis and Hendra are planning is a mistake.

But Ellie's estimate was missed. Iva and Norita were silent. The two women choose to keep quiet, leaving Ellie alone with her proposal. Ellie was stunned for a moment, while Hendra smiled in satisfaction.

"Ooh, okay. Alright. I'll follow what you want" Ellie said resignedly.

With a giant step Ellie walked into Tia's room. He chose to accompany Tia who never improved his condition.

"How now?" Iva asks Hendra and Denis after Ellie leaves.

"You ladies take a break, relax in the room or accompany Tia. Let me and Hendra stand guard, if you need to go around looking for Mella, that unlucky girl*n!" denis replied while clenching her hands. 

"Wood how?" Norita asked.

"Leave it. He couldn't get out of the room, I had the key with me, "Denis smiled with satisfaction.

Dock dock

Denis knocked on the Baby's room violently.

"I'll open the door to your room, if you'll be honest and tell me. What is the motive of your actions, also what are the plans that you have arranged with Mella? You've got it Bayu!" Denis half yelled.

Bayu just shut up not saying. He dropped his pant*t on the bed. Then reached into his pants pocket, taking out an HP. HP is locked. Bayu thought for a moment, how many suppose a combination of numbers to unlock it.

"Ah, her date of birth," muttered Bayu alone.

Bayu type 6 digit numbers. And it works, HP is open. A family photo appears to be used as wallpaper. Matternity shoot a couple with a smile, dressed all in elegant white.

Photo created with the wife plastered on the HP screen. Gawai which is currently held Bayu does belong to Dipta. Bayu opens whatsapp, checks incoming messages. After a while, what he was looking for he could not find.

Bayu hit the mattress hard enough. He felt furious and trapped, but he began to know who the devil mask wearer was among his friends. There just isn't enough evidence for now.

"The carcass is still a carcass. Will not smell, even among a thousand petals."
