The River House

The River House
9. Guest Rooms

Bayu enjoys every splash of water that hits his body. The typical mountain water that feels so cold but refreshing. Bathing can be a means of relaxing yourself. All tired as if drifting along with the water.

Bayu recalled the figure of Zainul who had appeared on the top floor. A body full of bandages, using a wheelchair, also a hoarse voice that sounded foreign. Bayu became doubtful, he was not sure what he saw was Zainul.

Zraakk Zraakk Zraakkk

In the daydream, Bayu heard a voice coming from nowhere. A voice like someone was sawing something. Could Mardoyo be cutting wood?

Bayu shut off the water faucet. Sharpen his hearing, ascertaining what sounds have just been heard. But it turned out that the atmosphere was so quiet and silent this time.

Bayu hurried to finish his bath. She came out of the bathroom still bare-chested, wearing only a pair of trousers.

The bathroom is located at the very back on the left side of the kitchen. The shape of the bathroom contrasts slightly with the front of the house that looks luxurious. The bathroom only measures 3 x 3 meters with a faucet and a black tub as a container of water. There was a hallway in front of the bathroom with an iron door at the end of the hallway. Behind the door is a backyard that looks lush by tananam perdu. Bayu walked slowly towards the door.

The atmosphere of twilight in the middle of the forest looks dim. The gurgling sound of the river water sounded so swift. Some insects also sound. There is an impression of calm, serene as well as horror and scary.

Bayu opened the iron door. Cold air hit the upper body of Bayu. Bayu circulated a glance and at a glance he was like looking at the shadow of someone who was running.

Plaakkk

A loud clap hit Bayu's shoulder. Her reflexes turned her head and it was Iva who was standing behind her.

"Just get in," Bayu was a little irritated.

"Why are you there?" Iva asked. Now his eyes are right facing the body of Bayu without clothes that look gallant and sturdy. His abdominal muscles are not too prominent but still look quite stocky.

"Missing view see Va. You just bother," Bayu sewot.

"Look at it. I can. But I'm gonna take a shower, too."

"Keep why?" Bayu asked me not to understand.

"Lha is the dipper you carry," Iva pointed at the pink dipper Bayu held with his left hand.

"Gosh," Bayu patted his own forehead, then handed the dipper to Iva.

After fully dressed Bayu immediately returned to the living room. While passing through the kitchen Bayu had time to see and observe Mak Ijah who was so busy preparing dinner dishes. The age is old enough in fact does not reduce the level of dexterity in cooking and serving food on the plate. The woman looked so good at her job.

Arriving in the living room, Bayu found no one there. The TV was left on without anyone watching it. A moment later came Galang who was walking from the front door. Ellie and Mella returned to the living room.

"Where are you guys?" Bayu asked curiously.

"We're from the front page" replied Mella and Ellie compactly.

"I am also from the front" said Galang briefly.

"Why don't we see you on Lang's front page?" Mella scrunched her forehead.

"It is very broad, it is natural not to meet," Galang quickly.

"Have you taken a shower?" Mella asked Bayu.

"It has. The water's so fast, I swear."

"Is the bathroom empty?" Galang snatched his towel ration that was lying on the sofa.

"I think that one was empty" replied Bayu.

The sound of people whistling from the kitchen. Denis turned out to come up with a dapper appearance. Jeans full of holes in the part of the hick, also a black shirt that increasingly adds to the impression of his towering and squeaky body.

"Where are you Den?" This time I asked Denis.

"From the bathroom" Denis replied.

"Drop Mr. Bayuuu'u's clothes" Denis grumbled.

"You why the hell Bay, from earlier everyone who came always you ask one by one. You're not here to interrogate us, are you?" Mella protested, crossing in front of Bayu.

"OKAY. Sorry. My mistake," Bayu sighed softly.

"What the hell is Bay?" Ellie asked.

"Well, somehow I feel uncomfortable being here in this house. My instincts, my instincts say something is not right," Bayu sat on the sofa.

"That may be a form of adaptation process from your body Bay who originally lived in the middle of the city, today you are in the middle of the forest. Just relax. Breathe in and exhale slowly," Ellie patted Bayu's shoulder.

"By the way, Yodi, shouldn't we wake up? It's almost time we eat" said Galang.

Bayu had completely forgotten the existence of Yodi, now he remembers back with his friend who was injured. Bayu moved from his seat, with Galang they headed to the guest room where Yodi rested.

Room door is closed. As Bayu recalled, the door was left open. Galang tried to open the door but could not, it turned out that the door was locked tightly.

"Lho How? Who locked the door?" Galang asked astonishment.

Tok tok tok tok

"Yod, Yodiii," Galang knocked on the door. Hope Yodi hears and says. But there's no answer.

Bayu who had felt something was wrong immediately ran towards the kitchen. He's looking for Mak Ijah.

"Mak? Mak Ijah?"

"Ah, yes sir?" Mak Ijah is still busy with his plate.

"Who's guest room key is carrying?" Tanya Bayu hastened.

"It's in the master's closet, why sir?"

"The guest room is locked. I worry my friend why napa. Show me the key!" Bayu gave the order.

Mak Ijah nodded. He immediately escorted Bayu to the key storage. From the kitchen they turn to the hallway on the right opposite direction when Bayu went to the bathroom earlier. There is a room that looks like a warehouse, where to put a few tools and clean clean this house.

Mak Ijah headed for one of the large cabinets that were leaning against the wall. Dusty cupboard, but on the handle looks cleaner. It was as if the closet had just opened.

Mak Ijah opened the cupboard, looked at it and looked carefully at its contents.

"Sorry sir, the key to the living room room is not there," said Mak Ijah, his expression still flat.

"Huh? How come?" This time I looked in the closet.

There was a plank with some wood in the glue, protruding to hang the key. Some keys hang there, but according to Mak Ijah the guest room key is not there.

"It's weird. The guest room was never locked, sir" said Mak Ijah.

Bayu is getting angry and worried. He immediately ran back to the guest room. In front of the room door are Galang, Denis, Ellie and Mella and Iva and Tia who have finished bathing. They gathered while occasionally knocking on the door of the room.

"Where's Bay's key?" Ask Galang impatiently.

"Nothing. Let's just break it!" Bayu's order, which Galang directly approved. While others appear confused, do not understand what is really happening.

Bayu and Galang take a square. Using their shoulders, they struck and pushed the door that felt so sturdy. Several times they failed and bounced, until finally. . .
