The River House

The River House
52. You will not understand!

The evening came, bringing with it a mist-covered cold. The sound of birds and insects as well as insects night began to disdain sahutan, signifying the day will soon change night. There are many types of nocturnal animals in the forest area where the Rich Man lives.

Amidst the excitement of the evening atmosphere, a male figure walked unsteadily towards the riverside house. His footsteps were slightly shaken. His entire body was full of soil and splashes of blood that had dried up.

Hendra Asmara stared at the house he built a few years ago. The house that last night he accidentally turned off the electricity, now looks lit with light.

"Who turned on the lights? Mak Ijah?" Ask Hendra inwardly.

Hendra stopped in front of an iron fence that looked solid. He thought back to the past. All he does now is for penance. The sin that haunted Hendra his entire life.

Hendra was a teacher of the elderly and illiterate. He devoted himself to forming a social institution to help people in trouble, people with mental disorders, and other psychic problems.

All of that was done Hendra as an effort to make up for his mistakes in the past. Until one morning, came a male figure wearing a black hoodie jacket. The man, among the raindrops, walked down.

In a drenched condition the man greeted Hendra with his cold hands and full of wrinkles from the burn scars. His face was covered with a mask. But Hendra knew it was the man who made his whole life regret.

"Send everything to you."

One sentence that the man said from behind his mask. A book wrapped in plastic he thrust on Hendra. Hendra was just stunned until the mysterious figure disappeared with the swift water of the sky that fell irregularly.

Hendra wiped his tears. Given the incident, his heart ached. Regrets always come too late. However, now Hendra has a chance to do redemption.

Hendra looked up at the sky. Orange and orange color come together in space. There were only a few white clouds moving slowly with the extremely cold wind.

Hendra's feet stepped back. Walk around the front yard until you finally stop next to the house. Hendra raised a pot of manchineel poisonous trees. Then, with great difficulty he brought her into the house.

The condition of the house feels very quiet and quiet. The mansion grew even more terrifying as the scent of rotten corpses burst forth throughout the room.

Hendra smiled with satisfaction. Although there were some mistakes, at least now the plan is running on the right track. Hendra climbed the stairs to the top floor. A little trouble because it carries a fairly heavy pot.

The sweat washed his dirty body. Hendra placed the large pot on the doorstep of the host's room. He then went to Bayu's room.

Bayu, the police officer was not in his room. Even the room looked empty. The bag and all his luggage had vanished. Hendra suspects, maybe Mak Ijah has released the police officer. Hendra did not want to take a headache, there was something more important that he had to finish.

Hendra went back to the door of the Rich Man's room. He grabbed the key in his pants pocket. Then opened the most magnificent room in the house.

The room was open, and Hendra could see in the corner of the room that Denis's body was still stretched full of cigarette cuts. While Mella is still tied to the chair, but her mouth has been detached from the cloth that clogs her.

"Hendra?" Pekik Mella shocked.

Hendra just shut up. He was still amazed, how Mella could release the duct tape that smothered her mouth. Something was wrong, he was worried that his plan was falling apart.

"Who's releasing a lump in your mouth?" Asked Hendra with glaring eyes.

"Huh? So you, who did all this?" Hearing Hendra's question, Mella finally realized that Hendra had paralyzed and locked herself.

Hendra still did not answer. He hurried to check the room. Checking the hallway, also the hole connected with the plavon of Mak Ijah's room. Everything seems to be perfectly closed.

Hendra was not satisfied, he came out of the room. Then half ran down the stairs towards the first floor. He immediately went to Mak Ijah's room. But it turns out that in the old servant's room there was only the corpse of Mr. Mardoyo. No one, quiet and lonely.

"Mr Ijah? A maakkk?" Hendra shouted to call his subordinate.

There's no answer. It was completely deserted, as if Hendra was alone in the big house by the river. Hendra went back upstairs, and stood in front of Mella.

"Hendra, answer me! What's your purpose in doing all this?" Jerky Mella. His voice sounded hoarse because he was crying and shouting continuously.

Mella felt fatigue and pain in her wrist. His strength was getting weaker, due to dehydration and an unfilled stomach from yesterday. His voice was hoarse, as if a wall in his mouth cavity was squeezing the throat.

"I'm just doing Mella's redemption" replied Hendra with a gasping breath. Apparently the man also felt tired and tired.

"Reportment?" Ask Mella.

"Yes, redemption and vengeance from Zainul you have hurt, you step on and snatch his future" Hendra grinned.

"Huh? What do you mean Hendra? I didn't do anything to Zainul" said Mella.

"Don't lie brengs*k woman!" Hendra clutched the collar of Mella's shirt. His anger was completely out of control this time.

"Maybe for the drama club members, it was you who never hurt Zainul. But as it turns out, you are the one who sent Zainul to the hell of despair!" hendras face looks red. Mella was silent.

"You made Zainul finally get out of school. Your jealousy for Zainul is the beginning, Zainul's love for Ellie is the catalyst, and you're Mella's last executioner!" Hendra pushes Mella's body.

Braakkk

Mellah fell over with a wooden chair that was tightly bound to her body. Mella grimaces in pain. His right cheek hit the marble floor quite hard. There was a rancid sensation that Mella felt at the corner of her lips.

"The bully easily forgets what he did. They are so quick to forget the crimes committed by assuming that his actions are nothing but a fad in puberty. The time they call labile, the time to find self. But what about victims of abuse? The pain and trauma in his heart will continue to linger until his future life. Not only did Zainul feel a psychic wound but he also sustained a permanent physical injury. And that's all because of you, Mella! Because you're a member of the drama club, as well as Miss Ami!" Hendra's crying. Her chest feels tight. The guilt that he had been feeling was dull, as if exploding and making his heart and mental mess.

"Maybe Created before his death asked, I just stuffed a tart on Zainul. So did Iva, I just put used gum on Zainul's bench. Or maybe Ellie I just rejected Zainul's love. You can say it's just, and you think it's trivial, but for Zainul it's torture. He felt unwanted, humiliated, stepped on, and felt the worst! You don't understand!" Hendra kicked Mella's body with all his might.

"Uhukkk," Mella coughed, in pain.

"Are you going to kill me Hendra?" Ask Mella.

"I'll make you feel what Zainul is feeling" Hendra grinned. Saliva seemed to drip on his red lips. Anyone who saw it would be horrified and understood, that Hendra had lost his mind.
