32. Room Check

Everyone had gathered in front of Tia's room, including Denis who came last. Bayu and Hendra had gotten quite good first aid. The wounds on their legs have been cleaned and treated as they should.

Ellie has made it clear to everyone that Tia was likely infected with rabies from a stray dog bite last night. 

"It's very dangerous to leave Tia in this condition. He needs to get an anti-rabies injection" Ellie said.

"Maybe Mella better understand how to handle things like this. Hasn't Mella come back yet?" Bayu asked later.

"He can't be back Bay. Because everything that's going on in this house is Mella. He must be hiding around this house, targeting one by one of us who are careless," continued Denis holding back anger.

"What do you mean?" Bayu doesn't understand.

"I found Yodi's backpack in Mella's room" Denis replied with emphasis.

"The death of Dipta, and the disappearance of Yodi must have been the woman. He's a health worker, surely he knows a way to make Dipta die as if choking. He was also the one who gave treatment to Yodi's wounds. Didn't Yodi arrive at this house wounded? It's quite possible that Mella put in some kind of time-disease to treat Yodi," Denis conveyed his suspicions with a fiery flame.

"Yes, yes, too. Your guess is reasonable," Hendra a mangosteen.

"There's one weakness of your guess Denis" Bayu argued.

"What?" Denis scrunched his forehead.

"Yodi disappeared from the guest room. If indeed he was made unconscious, how Mella with her thin body was carrying Yodi who might have a body weight twice that of Mella. Mella is not an ant who can lift twice her weight," Bayu stared intently at Denis, who made the local celebrity man wrong.

"Yoda. . .Yodiii," Norita arrived hysterically. His eyes looked terrified.

Everyone stared at Norita full of question marks. 

"Actually, Yodi never came out of the guest room" Ellie said after taking a deep breath. He basically refused to tell Yodi the situation. Remembering how Yodi's condition made Ellie nervous and traumatized. But looking at the hysterical Norita, Ellie felt a responsibility to explain what she saw in the guest room.

"Actually, what had happened during my time in the forest looking for Galang? Please tell me everything you know" Bayu pleaded.

"Let's go to the guest room. Norita and I found something terrible there," Ellie took her friend to the room downstairs.

Everyone immediately went down the stairs. Except for Hendra who was still in his place.

"Aren't you in Hen?" Ask Iva.

"You go first. My leg is in pain. I will follow, there is no way I go hand in hand with others, worried that my wound was nudged," said Hendra Lirih.

"Do you need help walking?" Ask Iva later.

"No. I'm okay. Seriously I'm gonna follow, at the very back. You go first" replied Hendra quickly.

"Okay, all right."

Green flies look more and more disgusting and plough the closet in the guest room. Ellie opened the closet in front of everyone. All eyes were on the horrible contents of the closet.

Half of Yodi's body begins to rot, making Iva understand hysterical. Denis closed his mouth so as not to vomit, Hendra seemed to calmly pay attention from a distance, while Bayu instead approached and observed. He also took some photos for the investigation.

"We better get out of this place. I've taken enough pictures" said Bayu while closing the closet.

Everyone agreed to leave the guest room. Iva is slightly limp embraced by Ellie, while Denis runs the algal ridge into the bathroom. His stomach felt unbearably stirred. Hendra and Bayu were at the back of the room. The two men looked equally difficult to walk due to injuries to his legs.

"Who would do such a thing. That. . .it's inhuman. It's not a human act. The devil! The devil did it!" Iva shouted full of anger. They were all sitting on the living room sofa this time.

"Well, speaking of the devil, didn't you ever play the devil in your theater?" Bayu suddenly asked cynically to Iva.

"What do you mean Bay?" Iva glared, annoyed at hearing the question from Bayu.

"There is no devil in this case. There are only humans with masks and the role of demons. And the man is currently wearing his plain face mask, as if he did not know anything, camouflaged between us," Bayu said looking at his friends one by one who was silent.

"Yes, I feel that way too" Denis suddenly replied as he walked from the bathroom. His face looked pale, probably due to his nauseous stomach.

"Keep, what should we do now?" Ellie asked. She massaged her temples that felt pulsating. Dizziness and nausea were also felt at this moment. The shadow of Yodi's corpse seemed to spin around in his brain.

"You found Yodi's bag in Mella's room, didn't you?" Hendra's question arrived.

"Yes, then?" Ellie and Denis asked.

"If Mella had committed this crime. I'm sure he's not alone. He must have a plot. What if all of our rooms are checked one by one? Not that I suspect you guys yes, but it's true what Bayu said. Maybe one of us is having a show" Hendra said.

Everyone nodded in agreement, then they returned upstairs. In quick succession they began to inspect the rooms one by one. It starts from Ellie's room, Mella, Iva, Tia and Norita. There is no strangeness in the women's room, except in Mella's room found Yodi's backpack.

Then, the examination of the rooms continued into the rooms of the men. Dipta's room passed considering there stored a corpse. The examination starts from Hendra's room, then Denis's. In both rooms, nothing suspicious was found.

Furthermore, Galang's room was forced to be broken down because Galang still did not return. And it turns out that there was nothing suspicious in the room.

"You were looking for Galang Bay. Are you sure you didn't meet him?" Hendra asked Bayu.

"I went back down the road I had been on in the forest. I don't see Galang anywhere. And in the end I fell down. Lucky Mr. Mardoyo found me," replied Bayu while opening the door to his room.

The Bayu Room is the last room to be inspected. Ellie, Iva, Norita, Denis and Hendra, carefully examine every corner of the room. Bayu was very sure there was nothing they would find in his room. But apparently, his beliefs were wrong.

"Wood. .What is this?" Hendra arrived. He showed an object to Bayu and the others.

"Huh? Whatisthis? How could this thing be in my room?" Bayu glared in disbelief at what he saw.
