Chapter 2 part 1
Cresh PoVs
Thirteen years ago, when I was only five years old, I was taken by my father to go visit a laboratory run by him and his friend.
At first I didn't understand why Dad took me to work. However, there I saw something that was obviously very scary. Until I finally found out what they were really working on in that lab.
Moments later, a middle-aged man walked over to us along with the two twins behind him.
“Yo! How are you today?” ask my father to the middle-aged man.
“As usual. Nothing special for this second,” replied the man in a flat tone. “Include, these are my children Luchifer and Kei.” He also pulled two twins behind him, in front of my father.
“Oh, twins, yes. How fascinating. This is my son Cresh.” My father pulled this in front of him. “Cresh, play with them. I'm sure you can be friends with them.” He glanced at me.
“Will I try,” I replied nonchalantly.
I was also invited to go around by the two twins who were probably the same age as me. The further I walked, the more afraid I was of seeing something in this place.
For a moment these footsteps stopped, and the chest felt tight, the body somehow shook uncontrollably by itself. Slowly, the body also begins to shake and fall limp.
What is this ...? What have I seen with these two eyes?
Right in front there was a spacious room bounded by thick transparent glass.
Inside the room, I saw children killing each other just to get a piece of bread on a table in the middle of the room.
It's really cruel and immoral.
“Are you afraid to see this, Cresh?” ask one of the twins in a flat tone.
“How can you still calm down when you ask that? What's wrong if I'm scared.” The words coming out of my mouth might be very limp right now.
“No need to be taken dizzy. Luchifer is like that.” The other twins comforted while smiling at me.
Looking at their attitude, I finally knew the differentiator of these two twins that were in front of me.
The twins named Luchifer are always calm and indifferent people. While Kei is a person who is always cheerful and caring for his friend.
After we finished walking around, the three of us were taken to a white room and locked up there for more than a day without being fed.
My body began to weaken with hunger, and my vision was also blurred. After a long period of hunger, I finally became unconscious.
I don't know how long I've fainted since then. When I woke up, I was already inside a sealed glass capsule.
Inside the capsule, my body felt very warm and comfortable, but a moment later, the warmth turned into pain.
Over time, the pain spreads throughout the body. I screamed so loudly because I couldn't bear the pain I was receiving.
The entire body was so hot as it burned, and my energy drained quickly from it.
Fortunately, the pain subsided after a while. And at the same time, the energy feels like it is being replenished until it finally recovers.
The capsule I was locked up in, finally opened after my energy had fully recovered. Shortly after, a nurse came to see me.
“Ya, it looks like so.”
When I answered the nurse's question, I remembered a certain person.
“Oh Yes, Sister Nurse. Do you know where Luchifer and Kei are?”
“Both Young Master Klaurius seems to be undergoing an examination downstairs.”
“Oh so. By the way, Brother. I'm hungry, is there food for me?”
“Before that, let me do a check on your body first.”
“Good.”
The nurse checked my whole body for a while. Then he let me out of the capsule after the examination was over.
When I got out, the nurse immediately gave me some food to enjoy.
After I finished eating, the nurse led me to the exit of the room we are currently using.
The nurse opened the door slowly. Behind the opened door was a middle-aged man, who was none other than my father. He seems to be waiting for someone.
He glanced at me and smiled. Seeing that, the nurse immediately left us.
“How are you feeling now, Cresh?”
“Why did dad take me to this scary place?” I feel unsatisfied.
“Aren't you alone who wants to visit Dad's workplace?”
“And I know that your place of work is like this.”
“Hm, looks like the wrong Dad. Sorry, yes.”
Dad and I walked down the hall until we got to the elevator. We used the elevator to get down to the bottom floor.
On the lower floor, there is only a large room, but it contains nothing. In the room, Luchifer and Kei are seen fighting one-on-one with the supervision of their father. As my father and I approached, the two of them stopped fighting, then walked up to us with their father.
“Yo, Cresh! How are you?”
“Yo, Kei. I'm good.”
“Have you got the power?”
“Hah? You mean magic or what?" I paused for a moment to observe the faces of the two of them. "Yes, Luchifer. Did you guys have a tattoo on your face since we first met?”
On their faces or rather on one of their opposite cheeks, there is a red tattoo. If seen again, Luchifer has a tattoo on the right cheek. While Kei on the left cheek, and if drawn in one place, the two tattoos look like one tattoo that is divided into two.
“It looks like this tattoo appeared together with our strength,” explains Kei.
“Oh, so yes.”
